Contractors All Risk Insurance Cover: This shall cover loss or damage to Permanent and Temporary works including all materials, equipments and contractors documents occurring prior to completion of the facility until the date of issue of the performance certificate for Construction of DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF CIVIL, BUILDING AND TRACK WORKS FOR DOUBLE LINE RAILWAY INVOLVING FORMATION IN EMBANKMENT/CUTTINGS, BRIDGES, STRUCTURES (EXCLUDING CIVIL WORKS FOR 50 BRIDGES ALREADY UNDER EXECUTION AND BRIDGES ACROSS RIVERS DAMANGANGA AND PAR AND FORMATION IN EMBANKMENT/CUTTINGS AND STRUCTURE IN THEIR APPRO VACHES ON BOTH SIDES) BUILDINGS, BALLAST ON FORMATION, TRACK WORKS(INCLUDING TRACK WORKS ON 50 BRIDGES ALREADY UNDER EXECTUTION AND BRIDGES ACROSS RIVERS DAMANGANGA AND PAR AND FORMATIONS IN EMBANKMENT/CUTTINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THEIR APPROACHES ON BOTH SIDES) INCLUDING TESTING AND COMMISSIONING ON DESIGN – BUILD LUMP SUM PRICE BASIS FOR VAITARNA – SACHIN SECTION OF WESTERN DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDDOR (PHASE-2). 1.With maximum amount of deductibles for insurance of the employers risks is Rs 2 million 2.The cover is for 2 (Two )w.e.f Oct 2020 years construction period and 2 (two)years defect notification period. This will also includes the construction activities already executed since Oct 2015 . 3.The cover should include Theft, burglary, STFI,Earthquake(zone III) Fire & Shock, Collapse, Faults in erection/construction, human errors, negligence, Riot, commotion,disorder, Any operation of forces of nature which is unforeseeable. 4.Bidders may offer a list of all applicable cover under this CAR policy available free of cost. Full replacement cost of project contract awardedvalue of Rs. 2170.65 crores

Add on covers (IRCON reserves the right to choose only required add on cover and tenderer has no entitlement of claim in this regard).

Removal of debris limit per occurrence up to Rs 50 lakhs.

Automatic Reinstatement clauseupto 10% of the sum assured.

Owner Surrounding Property upto 10% of sum insures with flexa risks including DLP.

Terrorism

Loss minimization expenses Up to 0.5 % of SI subject to maximum of Rs.10 Crs.

Professional fees Up to 0.25 % of SI subject to maximum of Rs.5 Crs.

Cover for offsite storage/fabrication.

Additional custom duty upto 10 crore

Expeditingcost including Air Frieght & Express Freight Up to 30% of net claim amount

Extended maintenance cover for every month or part thereof

Continuity of Cover during Operational phase for Unit/Plant tested but awaiting integral testing. (Along with other Units/Plants) for every month and thereof

Cover for Valuable Documents upto Rs. 50 Lakhs

Waiver of Contribution clause (restricted between Principal and the contractor

Waiver of Subrogation clause.

Marine transit of rail from Japan of cost approx. Rs. 80 crore

Escalation cost upto 10% of policy Sum insured.

Extension of contract period after 2 years construction period cover- premium to be quoted for next one year.

Third party Insurance Minimum amount of third party insurance is Rs100 million with deductible limit of Rs0.2 million for any one occurrence. This policy should include a cross liability clause such that the insurance shall apply to the Employer, the Contractor and Subcontractors(wherever applicable)as separately insured.
