CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNING OF PROVISION OF STORAGE SHED AND HARDSTANDING AT TTD AND AT ITR CHANDIPUR UNDER GE I R and D CHANDIPUR

"Consultancy : Structural Design and BOQ 1. Consultancy for Structural Design of the project named 'Provision of Storage Shed and hardstanding at TTD and WPG at ITR Chandipur, Odisha' on STAAD PRO software based on the Architectural Drawings provided by this department and soil investigation report. Columns of the two proposed sheds shall be of RCC and roof of steel truss. Following are the design parameters: (i) RCC Framed construction as per IS 456-2000 Code and steel structure as per IS 800:2007. (ii) M30 Design mix of concrete with TMT steel of Fe 500 grade and Indian Standard rolled steel sections for steel structure. (iii) Exposure condition- Severe as applicable to coastal region (iv) Seismic provisions- As applicable as per latest IS-13920, IS-1893 and any other relevant IS code (v) Foundation- Pile foundation with pile cap, raft or isolated or combined footing, as required based on soil investigation report. Preparation of structural drawings of proposed structure/ building on AUTO CAD. Drawings will cover details of foundation, plinth beams, columns etc as applicable. Details shall be provided in form of Plans, Sections, Sectional details, Tables, typical details of structural members. Drawings and other design info will be submitted as under, for which rate is deemed included in quoted rate: (a) Input and output of design on STAAD sofware in soft copy along with excel sheets, design folder (Hard and Soft Copy) duly vetted. (b) One set of preliminary drawings prepared on AUTO CAD will be submitted to the department for checking. After clearance from Design Section, three sets of drawings to be given for users, Garrison Engineer and CE office for comments. (c) After this, one set of drawings on tracing sheet with signature of consultant and vetting of IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College. After signature of rep of department, eight sets of white scanned prints of drawings signed by all (consultant, IIT/NIT/ Govt Engg college and rep of Department). Tracings signed by all will also be submitted along with Pdf format in CD. (II) Preparation of Bill of Quantiities (BOQ) for above project and yardstick based on SSR 2020 2. Preparation of BOQ, and yardstick based on SSR 2020. 3. Details of structure is as under (i) TTD shed of plan size 35mx15m - 525 sqm (ii) WPG shed of plan size 20mx15m - 300 sqm

Note:- 1. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of following:- (a) Site/office visits by the consultant in order to get required information to finalize drawings/design. (b) Vetting of structural design from IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College. (c) Submission of revised/ amended drawing if required, at a later date. 2. Period of completion Shall be 45 days after placing of job order.
