Hiring of consultant for Preparation of Conceptual Beautification Plan as per Landscape Framework Plan (LFP) at Kullu-Manali Airport

Preparation and submission of Conceptual Beautification Plan of Kullu-Manali Airport (City side, Road verges, Terminal building and Airside Green Area having approx. area of 5470 sqm) that includes Architectural drawings (2D site plan) and high-quality 3D renderings incorporating horticultural improvements of existing greenery, plantation schemes with hardscape elements according to a Design Philosophy focusing on traditional local Himachali (Kullu) style. The plan shall include landscape layout plans (hardscape & softscape elements) showing plantation zones on median/road verges/traffic islands (indicating the species, locations and spacing for plantation), water features (if feasible), specialized view-cutter structures/screens for visual masking and aesthetic enhancement, Night illumination, Decorative lighting & Mural wall art integration. The scope includes detailed site assessment & survey of existing features of the airport premises such as existing plantation inventory, tree census, lawn condition assessment, existing irrigation facilities, hardscape features, lighting arrangements, soil condition, landscape maintenance practices and identification of vacant areas suitable for landscaping. These activities are required to be done for preparation of comprehensive Landscape Planning i.e Soft Landscaping (such as Ornamental trees, Flowering tree, Native species, Evergreen plantations, Seasonal flowering plants, Ground covers, Theme gardens, Medicinal gardens, Vertical gardens, Indoor landscaping) & Hard Landscaping (such as Decorative paving, Seating arrangements, Pergolas, Decorative walls, Sculptures, Water features (where feasible), Decorative fencing, Landscape lighting, Street furniture, Planters etc. The review of Conceptual Beautification Plan shall be conducted 1 or 2 times and after approval of Conceptual Beautification Plan by the Competent Authority, submission is required for GFC drawings of landscaping and for Hardscaping, submission is required for detailed material specifications to enable cost estimation of the Approved Conceptual Beautification plan. This includes detailed Landscape Design Report in Soft copy (AutoCAD/ PDF/MS Office formats) and (02) three sets of hard copies of the final report. Site visits is required to be conducted at key stages of execution (Initial Site survey, Review stage, Estimation stage and Execution stage (Initial, Intermediate and Final stage) to ensure the landscaping design is implemented as per approved Landscape plan. After completion of work, As-Built Landscape Design Report and drawings is to be submitted in Soft copy (AutoCAD/ PDF formats) with (02) two sets of hard copies of the final report & drawings.
