| 1Day-to-day maintenance of the entire Electrical Installation Works at the Doctors’ and Staff Quarters, Boys’ and Ladies’ Hostels, Group-C & Group-D Quarters, and all other adjacent buildings, premises, common areas and allied facilities of Bankura Sammilani Medical College & Hospital (BSMCH), under the jurisdiction of BMC Electrical Section–III, PWDte under the Bankura Electrical Division and as per the direction of EIC/AE/JE and by deputing the required manpower as specified below. The scope of work shall include carrying out routine operation, preventive and breakdown maintenance of all electrical installations as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)/Assistant Engineer (AE)/Junior Engineer (JE), along with providing all necessary tools and plants required for proper execution of the work. The contractor shall also arrange essential consumable maintenance materials, including screws, nuts, bolts, washers, fuses, PVC insulation tapes, PVC sleeves, loose wires, split pins for ceiling fans, dusters, staff uniforms, log books, registers, pens, markers, safety helmets, insulated hand gloves, gumboots for operation of electrical equipment, first-aid box, umbrellas, face masks, sanitizers, PPE kits, safety goggles, protective body wear, raincoats, and other incidental materials required for safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation and maintenance of the electrical installations during the contract period, complete in all respects as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. | |||||
| 1.01 | Charges for manpower deployment for day-to-day preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance within the said premises, to be carried out in two (02) shift per day, including working days and holidays, throughout the year, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). | - | - | - | - |
| 1.03 | The rate quoted shall be inclusive of:
i) Operation on all working days, including holidays, and provision of off-day relievers.
ii) Minimum labour wages as per prevailing Government norms, bonus, ESI, EPF, and all applicable taxes and duties, and shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions mentioned below. | - | - | - | - |
| 1.04 | The manpower requirement shall include for Two (02) Shift per Day,
A) One (01) No. Skilled and One (01) No. Semi Skilled Electrician for 1st Shift or Shift-01
B) One (01) No. Skilled and One (01) No. Semi Skilled Electrician for 2nd Shift or Shift-02

| 2TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EI MAINTENANCE:- | |||||
| 2.01 | Objective
The guiding philosophy of this contract shall be “Public Interest”, and all activities shall be carried out accordingly. The objective of preventive and corrective maintenance is:
To prevent fire hazards due to electrical short circuits or faults
To ensure safety of occupants and the general public
To minimize electrical breakdowns and associated downtime
Any incident such as fire hazards, falling of ceiling fans/luminaries & suspended/pendent Electrical fittings, or similar occurrences due to lack of maintenance shall be viewed seriously, and the agency shall be held responsible. | - | - | - | - |
| 2.02 | A. Scope of Work
The scope includes routine, preventive, corrective and Breakdown maintenance of the entire electrical installation within the premises, including but not limited to:
i. Distribution Substations including HT gear, Transformers (performing different safety and performance tests and overhauling of substation equipments as detailed under A.2.
ii. LT distribution networks and panels including Power and control cables
iii. Electrical wiring for all buildings (residential and non-residential)
iv. Distribution Boards (DBs), LT panels, feeder pillars, AMF panels
v. Switchboards, sockets, Computer Points, Fittings & Fixtures
vi. Electrical Power outlets for air-conditioning systems, sound systems, PA systems, etc.
vii. Compound lighting including high mast
viii. All type of signboards e.g. Glow-sign, Metal Signage, LED signage
ix. Electrical installations up to switchboards/panels for lift machine rooms & pump rooms
x. Timers for AC, Air-Curtain & compound lighting (operation, configuration, repair/replacement where supplied departmentally)
xi. Fire detection system resetting/switching off as and when directed by EIC / AE / JE
xii. Lightning Conductor Installations including it’s Earthings
