Special Eligibility Criteria

   Conditions of eligibility: 1. The Tenderer must have supplied at least 3 no (Three number) of Electric overhead traveling crane (capacity 15/3Ton) (or) Similar crane in last 05 years (Five Years) to Indian Railways (or) any other Central (or) State Govt. organizations. 2. The tenderer shall, in their offer, submit performance certificate of 3 no. of Electrical overhead traveling cranes supplied in the last five years and the EOT crane covered by these certificates must have worked satisfactorily for at least one year from the date of commissioning as on the original date of closing of tender. The performance report to be submitted in format of Annexure A-1 in specification document. Non- compliance of above (about past performance) shall lead to summarily rejection of the offer and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. 3. The machine manufacturers shall ensure compliance with international (CE/ISO/DIN/JIS) /National standards (IS) (wherever applicable). 4. The bidder has adequate plant and manufacturing capacity and has a %u2018Quality Assurance Programme%u201D. The information may please be furnished. 5. The manufacturer shall have valid ISO 9001 certificate on the date of closing of Tender and a copy of same shall be submitted along with the bid. The EOT crane shall be in the scope of ISO certificate. The tenderer must enclose a catalogue and detailed technical literature of the item offered.

   a) Security Deposit (SD) for Stores Contracts will be applicable as per tender conditions attached with this tender. (a) The Security Deposit amount shall be 5% of the value of the contract subject to Maximum of Rs. 50 lakhs. (b) There shall be no exemption from submission of Security Deposit (SD) for any tender or by any tenderer except exemptions as per tender conditions attached with this tender. (c) In case of failure by contractor to meet deliveries for any lot, Railways may cancel the contract for defaulted part by forfeiting SD commensurate to that lot. Wherever SD has been exempted, for any reason, and the supplier fails to supply goods as per conditions of contract, as amended from time to time, Purchaser shall have right to levy damages from the supplier for failing to comply with the contractual conditions, not by way of penalty, an amount equal to SD amount, as would have been applicable if the contract was with a non exempted vendor.
