Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in Soft/ loose soil soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note - Trenches shall be excavated for water supply pipe lines all as detailed under MES Schedule Part-I clause 18.42 to 18.42.6).

Returning filling in soil and including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting points complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for sand cushioning for UG cables using dry river sand; gently punning down complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note : For measurement purpose punned thickness shall be considered)

Supply & lay ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class LV, type II, flate size 300mm X 180 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection to LT UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for boring under roads / pavement / hard standing without disturbing the top surface by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure for passing through the cables complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Necessary infrastructure required for boring shall be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost.

Material & labour for straight through joint (epoxy) for LT 100 Volts grade, aluminium conductor jointing kits, aluminium ferrules and labour complete for making joints and testing complete for cable size 70 to 95 sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out unserviceable LT cable from excavated trenches, ducts wall pole etc including removing cable covers, sand cable joints, pipes, clamps etc, taking out old serviceable cable, cable covers etc for reuse and removing unserviceable cables covers etc for sizes of LT cables up to 70 sqmm, any core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply ,Laying , connecting ,testing and commissioning and jointing,LT under ground cable, 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated armoured with galvanised round steel wire or steel strip,electric power cables heavy duty,with multi stranded aluminium conductor,laid in trenches,ducts,fixed on poles/walls with proper size saddles and clamp laid under roads/path/drain/culverts or encased in GI pipe fixed & testing and commissioning of size 70 sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix test point terminal block made of gun metal / phosphorus bronze/copper of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix copper strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including jointing with rivets/ brazing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt, Coal & Magnesium sulphate etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value less than 1 ohm.Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

Supply & fix 20 mm dia UPVC tubing standard duty with threaded at both ends complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix 20 MM bore stop/tap valve , UPVC for pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing steel tubing for alterations or addition in position without taking down and screwing for addition of Tee, etc for 20 mm bore connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note :- The cost of excavation , earthwork and fitting of pipe line required at site shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer)

Taking up or down HDPE/GI water mains along with connections and fittings and removal of unserviceable items from site of work for following size :-

M&L for boring, drilling, threading and tapping on existing GI/UPVC mains of size 80 mm to 300 mm bore for connecting 15/20 mm bore pipe by fixing on clamp made out of MS flat iron of size 40 x 3 mm made to required shape & size with GI socket duly welded, nut & bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement gun metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed for following size :-

Supply & fix in replacement cast iron sluice valve with flanged ends class I PN-1.6 heavy duty ISI marked, drilled type, non raising type : IS- 14846-2000 mark, including iron wheel complete with suitable rubber insertion 3.0mm thick at both ends with suitable MS bolts, nuts and washers, for the following size of pipes :-

Material & labour for construction of valve chamber with MS sheet cover 3 mm thick with angle iron frame of size 50x50x6 mm, double door type and with locking arrangements including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:4:8) type D2 as in foundation, PCC benching 1:2:4 type B-1, PCC (1:5:8) block masonry 20 cm thick in cement mortar (1:6), 10 mm thick plastering in CM 1:4, PCC bed in (1:3:6), painting one coat of red oxide and two coats of bituminous black paint on all steel surfaces all as shown on drawing No. CEAA/TD/57, sheet 1/1 and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. of size 1050 mm x 750 mm x 1000 mm type C (internal dimensions).(Note:- Rate of above item shall include the cost of demolition of existing valve chamber).
