CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SURVEY, INVESTIGATON AND PREPARATION OF DESIGN, DRAWINGS & DETAILED ESTIMATES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BARRAGE ACROSS TUNGABHADRA RIVER NEAR KANCHARAGATTI VILLAGE IN HAVERI TALUKA OF HAVERI DISTRICT

Conveying the boring machine and engine and all its accessories etc. to the site of the work and back including loading unloading etc. complete. (Note - Distance to be measured from the station of boring machine engine etc.of district headquarters to site of the work by short route ).complete as directed by Engineer- in -Charge.

Data collection, reconnaissance survey, carrying out detailed topographical survey of the Bridge & approach road alignment, using latest survey instruments such as total station etc., as per standard procedures including cadastral survey, fixing alignment on ground and providing data of detailed survey, preparation of necessary survey drawings etc. including approach road of 1000 m on either side etc., complete as directed by Engineer- in -Charge.

Preparation of Detailed designs, drawings and estimates of the proposed Barrage as per approved general arrangement drawing. The design shall confirm to guidelines of KNNL, relevant IS codes and latest circular of Govt. of Karnataka etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of Package estimate & DTP for construction of construction of Barrage across Tungabhadra River near Kanchargatti village as per standard guidelines of KNNL, obtaining approval from the competent authority etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of Detailed Project Report of the proposed Barrage as per approved general arrangement drawing. The design shall confirm to guidelines of KNNL, relevant IS codes and latest circular of Govt. of Karnataka etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing detailed reports of the inspection logging of drilled hole by observing visual description of data as per depth,thickness of layer, type of sample, wash sample, bore recovery type of drill etc. complete.complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Shifting boring plant with all its components and reinstalling the same at the directed place including all its charges etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Unit to be read as per shift)

Taking block levels of the river along the proposed alignment of the Barrage at closer intervals as per the site conditions for preparation of cross section of the river. The levels shall be extended at both flanks well above the proposed top level Barrage etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking trial bores 75 to 100 mm for 53.0 to 88.9 mm core dia over burden ( by diamond drilling machine ) such as soil of all sorts, soft murum, hard murum and boulders and in soft rock including all materials such as casing pipes and accessories oil, grease, steel, rods, and such other materials as required (including conveying the material to site of work). Preserving the loose sample in glass jar and core sample serially on site of work. Continued in specification below

Taking trial bores 75 to 100 mm for 53.0 to 88.9 mm core dia in rocks as specified below including all necessary materials such as oil, grease, steel boost and such other materials as requiredand preserving the core sample serially on site of work and conveying the same to HQ of concerning office as directed. Quartzite with diamond drill with Nx Bit 0 to 50m.as directed by Engineer- in -Charge. (Unit read in meters)

Fixing Techno-economical position of proposed Barrage by studying minimum 3 alternates, necessary approach roads, suggesting feasible alignment, establishment of permanent bench mark at both flanks of the river at the proposed bridge site by the carrying levels from the reference Bench Mark considered for established by the department etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing tun tappa core boxes of jungle wood of size 1.25m x 0.35 x 0.15m for preserving core sample with all fixtures and fastening handles including locking arrangement etc. completecomplete as directed by Engineer- in -Charge.
