Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, poles struts, laying of cables/pipes, etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm as in soils all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete.

Taking up or down steel/PVC tubing and connections including removal to store of following sizes : - Note : Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule

Supply and fixing in any length UPVC pipe manufactureed as per IS - 4985 : 2000, complete with fitting,fixed to wall/ceiling/floors in required length complete including making good of disturbed surfaces, laid in trenches in required length complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge of the following inner bore sizes:- Make : FINOLEX/SUPREME /KISAN /PRINCE

Dismantling old unserviceable valve chamber & M&L for Construction of 230mm thick PCC block masonary valve chamber built in CM 1:6 of size 900 x 900 mm (Internal size) x 900 mm deep with 100 mm thick foundation using PCC 1:4:8 type D2, 15mm thick internal plaster, 3 mm thick MS sheet cover, double door, 50 mm x 50 mm x 6mm MS angle frame fixed with hold fasts in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping 50 mm thick, 20mm x 6mm flat iron hinges with locking arrangement including lock sixty five mm, brass and keys, MS handles and applying one coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces including excavation & earth work any type of soil /rock and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr complete all as specified and directed

Taking up or down existing cast iron sluice valves of 80 mm bore of pipe any description and in any position including taking out joints and Supplying, installing, fixing, jointing and testing, ISI Marked, cast iron sluice valve of 80 mm bore of pipe of class PN-1.6 conforming to IS-14846 of 2000 both ends flanged with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle, long body type, jointed on both ends with and including rubber gasket joints, nut, bolts & washers and tested complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Sluice valves other than those dismantled with taking up or down of cast iron pipe lines shall be measured and paid for under this item.

M & L Disconnecting and removing the water mains in bore wells at various locations under GE(A) Bhuj from the delivery lines by lifting / taking up GI / UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets of any description and in any position including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit, replacement of defective column pipes, and including Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reconnecting main delivery mains as per existing and testing for the satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid for seperately under appropriate item ' but the lifting / lowering after repair shall be included in this item only . (ii). Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. (iii) All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

M & L Disconnecting and removing of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing / overhauling, cleaning, oiling / greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the pumps & motors of capacity 20HP to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under this item only. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item. (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item.

Taking out and removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motors of any description and in any position of capacity 30 HP to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply and transporting the same to workshop rewinding of submersible electric motors and the same in the original bottom after repair including testing and commisioning th existing size PVC insulated copper conductor to its capacity as approved by the engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding & testing on full load etc to the entore satisfaction of the Eng-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The winding wire shall be of make ATLAS/FINOLEX (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include the cost of transportation to site, fixing / lowering in position

Disconnecting the water mains from the suction and delivery pipe line of centrifugal pump sets / open well pump set of any description and in any position, any capacity and taking out pump set / motor from the base frame including disconnecting electric connections and foundation, nuts and bolts for servicing / overhauling, cleaning, oiling / greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor of capacity upto 5 HP capacity, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop.
