Preparation of DPR for the work “Construction of a 2 (two) storied hostel type building ( with a foundation designed for future vertical extension up to 5 storied) within the premises of Inspection Bungalow under BMS Division at Salt Lake, Kolkata-700091.” Scope of work:- Tentative Floor Area: 3500 sq ft/Per Floor. i) Architectural Layout Plan: The architectural layout plan will show the position of the proposed building on the plot, including boundaries, access roads, open spaces, and other site elements, and will be prepared according to local building regulations for approval of the scheme for the in-charge body. ii) To carry out soil explorations at site, as per design requirement. iii) Furniture Layout Plan: The 2D furniture layout plan will illustrate the arrangement of furniture within each room, ensuring proper space usage, circulation, and comfort, and will help the client visualize how the interior spaces will function. iv) Preparation of Architectural Plan, Section, and Elevation : Detailed architectural floor plans, sections, and elevations will be prepared to show the design of the building, including room sizes, wall and door placements, vertical dimensions, and the overall appearance of all building facades. The plan of ground floor will be prepared comprising of service areas including lobby, dining hall, kitchen, store and washrooms and first floor will be prepared comprising of ten (10) hostel type rooms, each with attached toilet. v) Door and Window Schedule: A door and window schedule will be created to provide clear details of each door and window used in the design, including their sizes, types, materials, and positions as marked on the floor plans. vi) Preparation of Structural Layout Plan: The structural layout plan will show the arrangement of key structural elements such as columns, beams, slabs, and foundations, ensuring alignment with the architectural design and serving as a base reference for the structural engineer to develop detailed structural drawings and calculations based on soil test report. vii) Preparation of Bill of Quantities: Preparation of design, Bill of Quantities [Preferred Latest "Schedule Of Rate" issued by PWD(WB) along with all corrigenda], Specification of material usage and Detailed Estimates. viii) Preparation of 3D Views of All Four Sides of the Proposed Building: High-quality 3D views of the building will be created from the front, rear, and both sides to help the client visualize the final design, including exterior finishes, openings, roof form, and architectural detailing. ix) Submission of DPR in requisite no of hard copies (3 sets) and soft copies. x) Before Submission of the detailed DPR, the drawing & design would be vetted by any of the three Government Technical Institutes of National repute which are given below. • IIT, Kharagpur • Jadavpur University. • Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur.
