H-069: Captain washroom and rating washroom onboard ship are experiencing defects during suction and discharge of sewage. The Vacuum System connected to the STP system is not functioning optimally view inadequate pressure generated by vacuum motors resulting in inefficient sewage treatment prior overboard discharge. Additionally the system is malfunctioning in auto mode and intermittently generating back pressure. Commode and pipelines connected to the system have developed leakages at multiple locations and system is unable to generate adequate vacuum view air ingress in system’s deteriorated pipelines and multiple cracks are observed in both commodes. To be repaired/renewed as per sample. In way job includes removal/renewal and re-fitment of commode, motor and pipelines.
