15 Yearly routines of CO2 System on MFV Matsya Drushti

The following fixed fire fighting CO2 system 15 yearly routine works to be carried out with DGS approved firm and necessary DGS approved certificate to be submitted to ship/HSL.

Weigment of CO2 bottles, capacity - 45Kgs

Weigment of CO2 pilot bottles, capacity - 1.3Kgs

Hydro pressure testing 250Kg/cm2 for bottles

Refilling of CO2 bottles including pilot bottles

Blow out all pipe lines with Air / CO2, 1/2" dia and 1" dia - 22 meters

Repair & testing of main bottle PM valves including syphon tube & pilot bottles (7Nos) (Safety disc setting pressure - 180~200Kg/cm2) and manifold check valves - 5Nos

Procure, supply & renewed above manifold check valve (incase of above valve is BER) (New valve contractor scope)

Calibration of pressure gauge (0-250Kg/cm2), defective to be renewed.

Servicing of safety outlet valve, disc bursting pressure - 125Kg/cm2

Repair & testing of main control valve

Procure, supply & renewed above main control valve (incase of above valve is BER) (New valve contractor scope)

Servicing of master control cabinet, damaged electrical items (Terminal board, pressure gauge, electric time delay as required, limit switch, POD valve, ball valves and electric siren etc.,) to be renewed and to be made in operational

Alarm and blower cut-off operation to be shown to ship/HSL while opening of door

Distribution brass nozzles to be serviced, damaged to be renewed

Flexible hoses to be pressure tested to 190Kg/cm2, damaged to be renewed

Repairing & testing of air connection valve - 1/2" size

Procure, supply & renewed above air connection valve - 1/2" size (New valve contractor scope)

Repairing & testing of Non-return valve - 3/4" size

Procure, supply & renewed above Non-return valves - 3/4" size (New valve contractor scope)

Flexible hoses (1/4" dia) to be pressure tested, damaged to be renewed

Flexible hoses (3/4" dia) to be pressure tested, damaged to be renewed
