M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm deep and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 @5 kg per 10 Sqm and putting in premix bituminous of VG 30 as binder content by weight of total mix well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including premixed macadam, binder and chippings) laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne roller and compacted and consolidated complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Premix Bituminous Macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of any penetration complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming/tack coat using paving bitumen of VG-10 @5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi-Dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (Bitumen VG 30 grade) content by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note : In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor and no price adjustment shall be applicable.
