Taking down old unservicable U/G cable PVC insulated/XLPE, armoured, hevy duty electirc cable with aluminium conductor, HT/11000 volts grade of the following sizes:-

(a) 95 sqmm 3 core

(b) 120 sqmm 3 core

M&L for XLPE cable PVC insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured earthed heavy duty with Aluminum conductors,multistranded HT/11000 volts grade,of the following sizes:-

(a) 95 sqmm 3 core

(b) 120 sqmm 3 core Note : 1. Excavation, earth work sand cushioning and PCC protection cover will be measured and paid separtely under respective Sch"A' item.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide and m exc 1.5m in depth, for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, casspits, menholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out for soft/loose soil.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for river sand filling in trenches to required width at bottom and topof cable as cable cushioning including spreading levelling and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.Note : Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.

Supply and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class HVP, type 1 with peak size 300 x 180 x 40 mm of ISI marked all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying GI tubing, light grade, with all fitting, laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed of 80MM bore.

All as per item No-8 above but laid in wall with all fittings etc 80 mm bore .

Dismantling and removing of existing unserviceable air break switch (GOD) 11 KV with all fittings and fixtures complete from two/ Four pole structure complete.

Dismantling and removing of existing unserviceable expulsion/drop out fuse unit with all fitting complete from the 11 KV two / four pole structure complete.

Dismantling existing unserviceable lightening arrestor 11 KV two / four pole structure complete.

Dismantling of old unserviceable earth wire or guarding cradles from the existing pole by disconnecting from the MS cross arms complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling ACSR conductor of any size, any capacity of main service or distributor span from HT poles and kept at side for reuse and unserviceable conductors shall be property of the conractor after credite recovered by the department all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc and complete shall be property of the conractor after credit recovered by the department all as specified and as directed.

Disconection and removing HT/LT connections connected to the transformer and transporting the transformer to work shop to carryout the repairs and refixing the transformer in its orignal position after completion of repair including testing and commissioning complete of the following capacities

Opening the top cover of the transformer carefully at site and draining of transformer oil, and removing the core and windings for finding out the fault and refixing the same after repairs and supply and filling and or topping up with new transformer oil confirming to IS-335 of 1993 having suitable dielectric strength as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete of the follwing sizes:-

Note : Transformer oil ,Spares/parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid separetely.

Removal of burnt HT coil winding and replacement of the same with new copper wire coil including necessary insulation material like impregnated paper or super enamelled and keeping the core and windings in to the hot air oven till the moisture evaporate and achieving proper insulation resistance results complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of burnt LT coil winding rewinding of the same with new copper strip including necessary insulation materials and keeping the core and windings in to the hot air oven till the moisture evaporate and achieving proper insulation resistance results complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for testing of the transformer oil before filteration if the value becomes below 30 KV, then only filtration to be carried out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (a) Test results obtained shall be recorded & produced to the Engr-in-Charge. (b) Measuring equipments & T&P required shall be arranged by the contractor. (c) The rate quoted shal be deemed to include for making necessary connections to filteration plant from transformer and switch gear. (d) Electric supply for the filteration plant will be made available free of cost.

Materia and labour for Complete Overhauling of Transformer upto 100 KVA by disconnecting the primary and secondary side removing the top cover to check the condition of core and windings, physically checking of all the components of transformer, Filtration and dehydration of 11/0.43 KV transformer oil by using streamline filtration plant at site to bring down the die electric strength less than 40 KV at 2.0mm gap for 1minute and testing oil sample after dehydration, Preventive maintenance /repair to transformer step down 11KV/0.43KV indoor / out door type any make of including cleaning the transformer externally with lint free cloth, tightning of the HT/LT terminals nuts, top cover tightning , electrical connection of HT/T side and earthing connection to neurtral and body after dehydratin of transformer oil complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Note : (a) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for making necessary connections to filtration plant from transformer and switch gear

(b) Electric supply for the filtration plant will be made available free of cost.

(c) Before filtration the transformer oil shall be tested for its dielectric strength and if the value becomes below 30 KV, then only filtration to be carried out.

(d) Spares such as transformer oil, silicagel etc,. will be measured and paid separately.

(i) Ditto but of upto 200 KVA complete

(ii) Ditto but of upto 400 KVA complete

(iii) Ditto but of upto 500 KVA complete

Supply and replacement of transformer oil confirming to IS 1993,having dielectric strength 60 KV.

Material and labour for painting of transformer of capcity 50 to 100 KVA with grey paint after making surface smooth by spray painting applying two coat of enameled grey paint including writing SM No/SL No with white paint on transformers.

(a) All as per item No-26 here in before but of capacity 160 to 250 KVA.

(b) All as per item No-26 here in before but of capacity 400 to 500 KVA.

Supply and fixing ,replacement of defective worn out bushing rod complete made out of copper/brass with nuts and washers including threading at both ends for HT/LT bushing of transformer 11/.433 KV out door/in door type of various sizes as per site requirement

Supply and fixing replacement of defective HT bush porcelain insulator with new one for transformer in door/out door type of various capacity

All as per item No-30 Above but LT porcelain insulator .

Supply and fixing of Temperature gauge all as per existing/equivalent make and model

Supply and fixing Gun metal gate valve 25 mm dia heavy duty high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipes along with suitable GI plug

Supply and fixing Gun metal gate valve 40 mm dia heavy duty high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipes along with suitable GI plug

Supply and fixing replacement of cracked/wornout synthetic rubberized cork gasket 10 mm thick for top cover of transformer capacity upto 250 KVA.

Supply and fixing replacement of cracked/wornout synthetic rubberized cork gasket 10 mm thick for HT/LT bushes etc

Supply and fixing ,replacement of silica gel breather assembly complete with silicagel upto 250 KVA transformer.

Supply and fixing ,replacement of silica gel in existing breather as required all as directed by EIC.

S&F Pin type grey polymer insulator suitable size for HT 11 KV line one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut for 11000 volts grade including taking out existing unserviceable insulator all as specified and as directed.

S&F Disc type grey polymer insulator suitable size for HT 11 KV line assembly including taking out existing unserviceable insulator from HT pole all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Aluminium lugs suitable for UG cable of size 95 Sqmm cable.

All as per item No-.55 Above but size 120 Sqmm .

All as per item No-.55 Above but size 150 Sqmm .

All as per item No-.55 Above but size 185 Sqmm .

Material and labour for restringing of HT ACSR OH line 3 wire conductors up to permissible sag after dismantling the binding wires from insulators and jumper connections complete and providing with new aluminium conductors as binding wire of existing size with insulators and jumpers etc all as directed by Engineer – in – Charge (Suitable size ladder & tripod shall be provided by contractor). Note: Three line together will be measured as one length.

Maintaning of HT over head lines by trimming the of tree branches tuching to the HT over head conductors lines upto 03 mtr away from the live conductors surrounding area complete all as directed at site complete. Note :- cost of labours deemed to be including cutting the tree branches and depositing the tree branches 50 Mtr away from the poles or as directed at sie complete.

Cleaning of Substation yard,incl uprooting of bushes, grass, trimming/cutting of trees exc.30 cm and not exc 100 cm girth and removing the waste to a distance n. Exc 50 metre complete all as specified as directed.

Material labour for 40mm graded stone aggregate(granite) spread to a thickness of 150mm for out door sub station/two pole structure/four pole structure.

Repairing/servicing /overhauling of gang operated device 11000 volts,200/400 Amps including greasing all the moving parts and applying white petroleum jelly at the contact points tightening all jointing/bolts nuts including replacing wornout the bolt and nutscommissioning and testing including dismantling and replacing the unserviceable parts/spares all as directed.Note: all the spares replaced will be measured & paid separately (labour cost for replacement of spares not covered herein below is also deemed included in the above quoted rate.

Material and labour for bring the van mounted full automated undergrund cable fault locator machine at site for findout HT/LT cable fault in underground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note: (a) Fault machine,cable & T&P required shall be arranged by the contractor. (b) Electric supply for the filtration plant will be made available free of cost.
