SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

Chair Dining Long Back (FD-357) DIMENSION. Overall size shall be 450mm wide at bottom legs level and 455mm deep and 1200mm high. DESCRIPTION. Timber shall be seasoned teak wood (MP) Ist quality. Front legs shall be of size 25mm x 50mm in section and 450mm high and rear legs shall be of section. 25mm x 50mm made to shape as shown on drawing. The front and rear legs at seat level shall be joined by as per drawing size in section side rails provided at 450mm from bottom legs. The top of side rails shall be at 450mm from bottom of legs. Two side stiffeners of 25mm x 40mm in section shall be provided joining front and rear legs. The bottom side stiffeners shall be 100mm above the bottom of legs. A middle stiffener of 25mm x 40mm in section joining the side stiffeners in middle shall be provided as shown on drawing. For seat cushion, a frame shall be made with 75mm x 20mm in section front and rear wooden horizontal rails, joined as per drawing size in section wooden side rails. 75mm x 10mm batten shall be provided in the middle. 65mm x 10mm batten shall be provided with three equal gaps. 50mm thick, 32 density foam shall be provided to the chair which shall be covered with leatherised rexene of best quality as approved by GE. The back rest the shape of legs shall be as shown on drawing. Rails of 45mm x 25mm in section shall be 40mm apart from legs and joined by 10mm dia teak wood in vertical and 12mm dia teak wood in horizontal. 50mm thick synthetic foam of 32 density covered with leatherised rexene made to shape as shown on drawing shall be fixed over 10mm thick plywood commercial. FINISH. All wooden surfaces shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.

Chair Easy (FD-229) DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 510mm, 575mm and 740mm high. DESCRIPTION. All wood shall be of first class teak well seasoned. Front legs shall be 25mm x 55mm in section and 355mm high upto seat level. Rear legs shall be of 25mm x 55mm in section and 300mm high upto seat level and slanting 50mm away from vertical. Front, back and side rails of seat shall be out of 25mm x 50mm in section and made to shape as shown on drawing. Front, back and side rails shall join the front and rear legs at 355mm high and 300mm high in rear Teak wood arm rests shall be provided at 150mm above seat level and shall be of 25mm x 65mm in section as shown on drawing. Back rest shall be made of frame consisting of top horizontal made to shape as shown on drawing and lower horizontal rail of back rest shall be also as per drawing. Caning shall be done with plastic cane of 2mm wide and 0.4mm thick half round gola type weighing not less than 6gms in ten running meters. Caning shall be done in Godrej pattern. PVC shoes 25mm x 25mm shall be provided at the bottom of all legs. FINISH: All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given high gloss French polish with lacquer finish.

Table Dining 8 person (FD-273) All as shown on drawing. All wood shall be of first class wood teak well seasoned. Overall size shall be 1800mm long, 900mm wide and 760mm high. Legs shall be of 75mm x 40mm in section. 5mm x 5mm in section groove shall be provided in the visible portion of top of legs. 25mm thick and 100mm high top long rail and short rail shall be provided in short and long rails joining the legs at top. Two numbers teak wood stiffeners 100mm wide and 25mm thick shall be provided equally spaced joining the top legs with top rails. Eight Nos teak wood corners shall be provided and fixed with four nos of stainless steel screws to joining the legs with top rails. The shape shall be directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Top of table shall be 18mm thick prelaminated particle board both side laminated exterior grade, shade as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4mm thick teak wood edging shall be provided al round the top edge of table top. All joints and fixing hall be done in accordance with standard workmanship. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be french polished with high gloss finish (Lacquer finish). Hard rubber/ PVC toes of 25mm dia shall be provided to bottom of all legs with stainless steel screws. All joint and fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship. Rest all as per drawing.

Table Peg (FD-384) DIMENSION. Overall size shall be 450mm long, 300mm wide and 380mm high. DESCRIPTION. Legs shall be of teak wood of section 30mm x 50mm. The legs shall be 362mm high. 5mm x 5mm in section groove shall be provided on the top of legs which shall be visible when placed in position. Two Nos top rails of section 20mm x 40mm of teak wood shall be provided connecting legs. Two bottom rails of size 20mm x 40mm shall be fixed between the legs. A centre stiffeners of size 20mm x 40mm shall be provided at centre of side bottom rails for extra support irrespective of what is shown on drawing. Top of the table shall be of 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board with 4mm teak wood edging all round the top of table . FINISH. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with high lacquer finish. Rest all as per drawing.

SCH 'A' PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE)

Bed Hard (FD/E6/MAP/08 (R)) DIMENSION:- Overall size shall be as per drawing. DESCRIPTION:- The head board shall be 800mm high and Foot board shall be 500mm high. The frame of head board and foot board shall be of 38mm x 38mm mild steel square pipe, 18 Gauge. 18mm x 18mm mild steel square pipe shall be provided in the inner of head board frame/ foot board frame as shown in drawing. 18mm thick both side decorative prelaminated particle board of walnut shade with PVC edging shall be screwed to mild steel strip arc welded to 18mm thick square mild steel pipe with standard workmanship both in head board/ foot board. 25mm x 65mm rectangular MS pipe shall be used to make the long rails and short rails of bed hard and welding shall be done for fixing long rails to the legs irrespective of what is shown on drawing. One stiffener of size 25mm x 25mm shall be welded between the two legs of headboard over 150mm from the ground level. The top of bed hard shall be of 12mm thick BWR ply of approved make fixed over the four equidistant stiffener of size 25mm x 25mm square mild steel pipe in line with bottom of 25mm x 65mm long rail section. PVC shoes shall be provided to legs of bed. M FINISH:- All metal/ iron work shall be pre treated with epoxy powder coated oven baked with synthetic enamel black after doing two coats of metal primer. Rest all as per drawing.

Charpoy MAP Hard Top (FD/MAP-II/01) DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. DESCRIPTION: Two long rails and two short rails shall be of 25mm x 65mm x 16 Guage mild steel rectangular pipe. The legs shall be of size 32mm x 32mm x 16 Guage welded to long and short rails as shown on drawing. Two stiffeners of size 25mm x 25mm x 16 guage shall be provided in equidistant between two opposite long rails. Six number cleat of size 25mm x 60mm x 6mm shall be welded with frame to support ply. Two stiffeners joining legs of size 25mm x 25mm x 16 Guage shall be provided at 150mm from ground level. 12mm thick commercial plywood of approved make shall be provided for top as shown on drawing with proper nut and bolt. PVC hard rubber shoes shall be fixed at bottom of each legs. FINISH: All steel surfaces shall be pre-treated with epoxy powder coated oven baked with black colour.
