REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF EOT CRANES AND ALLIED ITEMS AT AF STN NALIYA

M&L for maintenance consisting of normal repair (such as greasing, oiling to all movable parts, checking of electrical panels, pendent etc.) and preventive maintenance (such as replacement of thimbles in electrical panels if required, cleaning of electrical panel by blowing air and applying CTC etc) replacement of minor defective spare parts of electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) crane, floor operated and capacity upto 2 ton(Qty-20 nos crane) complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 1 here in before but of capacity above 5 ton and upto 10 ton - 04 No. Note :- For item No. 1 to 3 (i) Maintenance of crane is required to be done once in a year duration cleaning of entire crane with cotton waste, apply oil and grease where ever required, checking of electrical connection in addition in the standard maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer of the crane. (ii) Contractor should obtain signature from user in addition to the signature of JE, Engr-in-charge as a token of maintenance of crane carried out. (iii) Cost of dismantling/ taking down of items and refixing shall be included in the quoted rate. (iv) Spare parts required for replacement shall be paid separately as supply only under appropriate item of Sch A.

M&L for preperation of old painted steel/ CI surface of crane (i.e. Motor panel board, handle cross arms, horizontal arms, grills, MS plates, Ladder etc. complete by scraping old paint, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (MES standard shade such as blue, red, yellow, and black or any other shade as directed by Eng-in-charge) for Electrically operated overhead travelling (EOT) crane capacity upto 10 tons complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for full load testing of EOT crane of capacity upto 5 ton by using dead load once in a year, including providing shifting/ transporting the loads from place to place, suitable loading, unloading and lifting arrangement all as specified complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for full load testing of EOT crane of capacity above 5 ton upto 10 ton by using dead load once in a year including providing shifting/ transporting the loads from place to place, suitable loading, unloading and lifting arrangement complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The load required as per standard practice for crane capacity(25% excess load of crane rated capacity) of crane 1 ton and upto 10 Ton are to be arranged by contractor. The same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Load test to be carried out for all motions. (iii) Necessary test certificate to be submitted. (iv) The rate quoted is deemed to be included for provision of loads including transport, lifting, tackles/ ropes, man power and removal of load etc.

S&F power contactors 3 pole with NO + NC 30-50 Amps suitable for the EOT (Flameproof) cranes 1 Ton to 10 Ton complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for visiting of EOT crane (27 Nos) by mechenic for complete checking of serviceability of EOT crane and finding of the fault in the crane and replacement of defective item of the crane and testing the crane complete all as specified and directed.Note:-(a) Rate quoted by the bidder must include cost of replacement of minor spare parts.(b) Major items must be paid separately in respective items of Schedule 'A'.

Labour for visiting of Electric operated gates by mechenic for complete checking of serviceability of Electric operated gates and finding of the fault in the gate and replacement of defective item of the gate and testing the gate complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(a) Rate quoted by the bidder must include cost of replacement of minor spare parts.(b) Major items must be paid separately in respective items of Schedule 'A'.
