Steam Cleaning Plant of 1000Kg

(1). Supply as per Tender description / Specification.

SPECIFICATION AND Special Conditions of Steam Cleaning Plant of 1000Kg Contract for supply installation and commissioning are ATTACHED along with this Tender These attached specifications should be complied with by the bidder.

Procurement will be made from only 'original manufacturers' or their 'authorized dealers' with authorization certificate. Manufacturers /Authorized dealers to submit documents in support of their claim. Any authorized dealer quoting must enclose 'authorization certificate' from their manufacturer

The bidder must be a proven manufacturer of oil-fired steam boilers of IBR approved / certified design for similar or higher capacities. The bidder / manufacturer must have supplied at least 01 no. of IBR design oil fired boilers in last 10 years and shall furnish statement of last supplies along with P.O. No. and Date, the purchasers name and address, e-mail address, phone and fax no. of the contact person, quantity supplied, date of supply, date of commissioning giving by the firms For the purpose of this specification, similar plant means oil fired boiler confirming to the major parameters of schedule-2.2.1 of Sec-IV.

Performance certificate of one no. of machine supplied in the last 10 years and working satisfactorily for at least one year shall be enclosed with clear signature and addressof the purchaser / firm using the machine where it is installed and commissioned.

1)EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) shall be deposited by all vendors for tenders with estimated value above Rs. 25 Lakhs subject to the applicable exemptions. For the exemptions and other details please refer Para 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions. 2) In case of submission of Earnest Money Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee, please refer Annexure- 6 of Southern Railway Tender conditions.

SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) (a).Shall be 5% of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 10.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions. In case of submission of security Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee. (b).Unless otherwise agreed between the Purchaser and the contractor or otherwise mentioned in the tender document, the contractor shall, within 21 days of posting of written notice of acceptance of the offer to the contractor, deposit with the Railway concerned (in cash or the equivalent in Government Securities or approved Banker's Guarantee Bond or any other approved form as stipulated in the tender document) a sum as stipulated in the tender document, towards Security Deposit. (c). Unless otherwise specified in the tender document, Security Deposit should remain valid for a minimum period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of all the contractual obligations of the supplier, including warranty obligations. [a] Tenderers are hereby instructed to supply the tendered quantity to the respective consignee(s) as indicated in tender document. ( Whereever Applicable ) [b] If Tenderers mention anywhere in its offer contrary to (a) above and/or mentions not to supply to some of the consignees, such offer may not be considered for ordering for such consignees where the tenderer has not agreed to directly deliver the stores without any back reference.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

Performance certificate shall be as per format given Annexure-K of Section-VI and has to be issued under the letter head showing details of issuing authority
