C and F Contract For Metal Export From Visakhapatnam Port

C & F agency charges covering scope of work under this contract inside CFS including: - -Overall supervision of entire operation of clearing & forwarding of export cargo. Scope includes the liaison and coordination with such other agencies, as required for loading and unloading work. All documentation with Railways, Port, Customs including Duty Draw Back/EPCG formalities Central Excise, Shipping Companies and other agencies for obtaining export clearances of Aluminium Products, arranging stuffing and sealing of stuffed containers inside CFS, in compliance with Customs and other statutory requirements. (Above mentioned scope of work is only indicative and not exhaustive ; Detailed conditions of work under C&F agency must be read in conjunction with terms and conditions laid down in Special Conditions of Contract of NIT)

All-inclusive charges for unloading / handling of Aluminium products from open type Box wagons / Container Rake Loads at Railway sidings outside Port area ; Loading onto trucks/trailers and transportation of all Aluminium products to any of the CFS / Stockyards / Multimodal Logistical Hubs in Visakhapatnam. Details of work are as per Sl No.(s) 4 & 5 of Special Conditions of Contract. No detention / demurrage charges shall be paid by NALCO

All inclusive charges for Unloading the cargo from the trucks/trailers/vehicles placed at the CFS / Stockyards etc., by engaging labour, forklifts, cranes and other equipment, by engaging labour, forklifts, cranes and other required equipment Segregation & stacking services for NALCO’s Aluminium products of all sizes and shapes within CFS and presenting the Cargo for Customs examination, as per requirement. Details of work are as per Sl No.(s) 4,5 & 14 of Special Conditions of Contract.

Retrieval of dry empty 20 ft containers from any location within the CFS and transportation of the same to the designated stuffing location within CFS / Stockyard / Multimodal Logistical hubs. (Includes all charges for lift-on, lift-off ,transportation and placement of 20 ft. empty Containers)

Loading on Trailers & Transportation of 20ft dry empty containers from any location within a radius of 30 km from Nalco’s Visakhapatnam office to any CFS /Stockyards / Multimodal Logistical Hubs & unloading of the same, at a suitable designated place, within the CFS / Stockyard / Multimodal Logistical Hubs. (Includes all charges for lift-on, lift-off , transportation and placement of 20 ft. empty Containers) No detention charges shall be paid by NALCO

Stuffing of NALCO’s Aluminium products of all sizes & shapes in allotted Containers, within CFS. Sealing of stuffed containers, within CFS, in compliance with existing Customs and other statutory requirements Details of work as per Sl No. 4 of Special Conditions of Contract.

Loading and Transportation of 20 ft. laden containers from any CFS to VCTPL (C/Y) for sea shipment, using Trucks and Trailers.

All inclusive charges for Re-bundling & Strapping of loose / damaged bundles of Aluminium products with requisite type of straps, so as to adequately withstand the weight of the bundle. (Strapping tool to be provided by NALCO ; However, recurring costs of spares and maintenance of such tools shall be to the account of the Contractor)

Charges for identification and marking of bundles / pieces with indelible paint (paint to be provided by C & F agent) for colour codes or for shipping marks and numbers, tying metal tags or fixing labels provided by NALCO, as and when required.

De-dusting & cleaning of all Aluminium products to the satisfaction of NALCO. (Cleaning material & equipment such as compressed air, water, hose, brush, Kerosene, Detergent, cloth are to be provided by the C&F agent.)

Lashing and packing of aluminium products with steel tape / steel wire rope etc. inside the container to the satisfaction of Surveyors/ NALCO officials. (Lashing material and equipment are to be provided by C&F agent.)

Shifting and stacking of metal cargo within the M/S Balmer Lawrie premises.
