CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, CONNECTED MANHOLES AND REPAIR OF SEWAGE LINES AND MANHOLES AT NMS UNDER CWE PANAGARH

Taking out of waste water solid/semi solid sludge mechanically from existing man holes, sewage sump, septic tank etc, of any size but depth n. exc 1.5m and removing to the particular spaces as directed by Engr-in-charge burying the entire sludge/sludge water into excavated pit of adequate size including spreading of bleaching powder @ 1.00 kg per Sqm (for disinfection purpose) including excavating and covering with earth or disposing off into covered vehicles outside the pheripheri of defence land to a distance exceeding 1 KM including taking off RCC/iron manholes covers and refixing the same after cleaning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Cost of earth work required for excavated pit and cost of bleaching powder are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.

All as per item No. 1.01 here- in-before but depth exceeded 1.5m and n. exc 6m, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of blocked sewage line and manhole line with green bamboo/cane stick by mechanical means for any dia of pipe including adequate flushing water and depositing the sludge in excavated pit and including spreading of bleaching power @ 1.00 kg per sqm (for disfecton purpose) and removing all sludge away from the permises (outside MoD land) including opening of manhole cover & testing the sewage lines with using clear water after cleaning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Cost of earth work required for excavated pit and cost of bleaching powder are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate

Cleaning /opening of blockage/chocked of WC, bathroom trap, kitchen floor trap, yard gully trap, cleaning upto 1st manhole, inspection chamber and finally cleaning and flushing water etc and finally removing all rubbish away from the permises (outside MoD land) complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc, from tanks and from mouth of circulating pipes, etc of capacity exc 250 & n exc 500 litres by cleaning/disinfectcting with bleaching powder and finally washing with fresh water including writing date of cleaning by synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil (hardcore, soling of road, path etc, macadam surfaces (WBM), brick work), complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1.07 here-in-before but in soft/disintegrated rock including PCC, stone masonary in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm bore reinforced concrete pipes class NP2 conform to IS 458-2003, laid and jointed complete with collars, including plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipe including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The quoted rates include for all necessary extra joints, waste, and cutting etc. Excavation and earthwork shall be measured separately under relevant item. (ii) Necessary demolition & breaking of drain pipes including PCC bed & haunching shall be paid under item 1.07 to 1.08

All as per item No 1.10 here-in-before but 200mm bore reinforced concrete pipes class NP2, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rendering 15mm thick on brick surfce in cement morta 1:4 surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mix with WPC by weight of cement as per manufacturer's instruction, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Water proofing compound will be measured and paid for separately under relevant item.

All as per item No 1.12 here-in-before but including taking down old unserviceable rendering, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Integral water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed

M&L pre-cast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 ( using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for man hole and drain cover slab and set in cement mortar 1:4 including demolition of existing concrete cover slabs complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately under relevant item.

M&L for 10mm dia and over TMT Steel bar cut to length bent to shape reqd incl cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and incl mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, benching etc incl necessary form work and including demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L fly ash brick work with old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius on plan built in cement mortar 1:6 and including demolition of brick work built in cement mortar, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 1.18 here-in-before but except brick work built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 150 mm bore of pipe , making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) type 'A' pipe conform to IS 13592-1992 single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls with clamp and including taking down old unserviceable PVC (SWR) pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1.26 here-in-before but 75mm bore PVC (SWR) type 'A' pipe , complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) type 'B' pipe conform to IS 13592-1992 single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors and including taking down old unserviceable PVC (SWR) pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Contractor shall strictly follow the “Prohibition of Employment of Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013” which refers prohibits engagement or employment of any person for hazardous cleaning of sewers and septic tanks by employing manual handling of excreta in the process of their cleaning. Necessary by pass arrangement to be made in case of time consuming repairs, till the sewer line is repaired & wherever handling of human excreta can be involved necessary appropriate technological appliances (Sewage Suction Truck) will be complied with the subject Act.
