Check & service all sensor if any sensor not in working condition, then it must be replaced with new

The inlet blower and outlet blower open space need to be covered with net to avoid entry of foreign objects.

Check the Vibration damper of main engine if any clearance/defective required to be replaced with new. Engine mounting isolator to be serviced and bolts required to be checked for proper alignment. Defective isolator need replacement

Self-starter & Alternator to be serviced and defective carbon bushes need replacement. Injector required to be serviced and calibrated.

Sea water pipes of Main engine required to be chemically cleaned and it should be completely free of salt /foreign deposits. Any pipe reduced gauge to be replaced.

Complete cleaning of exhaust pipes required to done and if any piece deteriorated need replacement. Check Asbestoses cloth of exhaust pipes of main engines if defective required to be replaced. Exhaust manifold & inlet manifold to be serviced.

Heat exchanger of Main engines required to be cleaned/ flushed and servicing

Engine harness required to be checked and any foreign deposit to be cleaned if defective then replace harness completely.

Check the condition of Turbocharger and required to be repaired.

Control panels of Main engines in engine rooms required to serviced and defective parts need replacement.

Main engine alignment with jet propulsion unit and gear box should be done and synchronized with joystick of console.

All zinc rod (Heat exchanger, sea water line etc.) to be replaced

Engine sea water cooling outlet pipe fitted with hose need to be clamped with two clamps instead of single clamping

BATTERIES: Batteries of on board vessels required to be replaced with new. Details of batteries are under. a. Emergency Batteries- 02 Nos (12v x 200 AHC) b. Service Batteries - 02 Nos ( 12v x 200 AHC) c. Main Engines -03 Nos (12v x 200 AHC ) d. DG Set – 02 Nos (12v x 150 AHC) Total – 09 Nos secondary batteries (Amaron /Exide).

Defective Seal and gasket if any required to be replaced with new.

Defective Solenoid valve & switch and gauges required to be replaced with new one. Gear oil cooler required to be serviced. Gear box foundation to be serviced. If any mounting defect then replaced completely. .

The timing of Gear unit engages and disengages unscheduled on its own which is required to be checked and rectified.

DOCKING AND PILOTING / INSPECTION CHARGES (Inspection charges including IRS fees). Piloting/Sailing charges from Base Wksp WW BSF Hasnabad to dry dock yard and back including cost of fuel required to be mentioned

Main shaft seals STBD & PORT required to be replaced. Inspect the Main shaft seals STBD & PORT required to be replaced. Inspect the impeller and complete servicing should be carried out. Inspect the wear ring clearance, if worn beyond acceptable tolerance then to be renewed. Defective worn hoses, seals, or fittings should be replaced with new.

Inspect the jet unit housing and the surrounding hull area for structural integrity, cracks, or corrosion. Repair any damaged sections to prevent leaks or water intrusion. Ensure the intake duct is free of blockages or deformities

Steering nozzle and reverse bucket required to be serviced. Ensure that they move freely as well as not hindered by corrosion or mechanical issues. All bushes of jet buckets to be replaced.

Defective components of hydraulic system and linkages that control steering and reverse thrust required to be serviced. Lubricate all moving components to ensure smooth operation.

Replace all sacrificial anodes.

Servicing of Oil cooler of jet propulsion system required to be carried out and Hydraulic oil of Jet system required to be replaced with new.

All electronic components and system of jet propulsion installed in Tiller deck and console required to be serviced.

Defective sensors of jet propulsion system required to be replaced with new

Hydraulic oil filter of jet system required to be replaced

Doen jet propulsion auto synchronisation unexpectedly and increasing of RPM and speed. The complete software synchronisation need to be calibrated and updated to avoid auto increasing of RPM and speed,

Digital display of main engine installed in wheel house is required to be serviced and synchronized with Engines parameter. Any other defects to be rectified.

All fuel filters should be replaced with new. Fuel injectors and fuel pump required to be serviced/ calibrated. Defective fuel lines required to be replaced with new.

Heat exchanger element is defective and required to be replaced. Check the thermostat functioning replace with new one. Coolant should be replaced. (12 Ltrs. Approx.)

All type of oil filters are required to be replaced with new. Engine Oil required to be replaced. (15 ltrs approx.)

Air filter required to be replaced with new. Exhaust pipe required to be replaced. Deteriorated /damaged Asbestoses cloth and glass wool of exhaust pipe required to be replaced with new. Turbocharger required to be serviced.

Alternator and self-starter required to be serviced and replace carbon bush assembly etc. Defective belts should be replaced. Defective Control Panel Board, Electric Wiring, Harness including pressure switch, temperature switches, circuit breaker, starter relay etc required to be repaired. If non repairable to be replaced.

Check and correct the alignment between the engine and the generator to prevent excessive vibration and wear. Ensure the generator rotor is balanced to prevent abnormal vibration during operation. After serving of generator, Power output, Frequency, Voltage of generator required to be checked on full load for satisfactory service.

Defective safety shutdown systems i.e. high temperature, low oil pressure, and over-speed sensor etc. required to be replaced with new. Test all control panel functions such as the start/stop mechanisms, gauges, and alarms and necessary servicing should be carried out.

Perform a full load test to ensure the generator can handle the rated capacity without issues. Operate the generator to check for any unusual sounds, leaks, or vibrations, ensuring all repairs and adjustments are successful.

New sea water pump need to be down to existing level. So, that the pump remains under sea water level to lift the water properly

AC SYSTEM All marine ACs as mentioned below and their accessories fitted in Medium Crafts are needs to be serviced thoroughly and defective parts need replacement. All defective PCB, display board, temperature sensor with cable installed in the AC fitting of VIP Cabins, Crew Cabins, Wheel House and dining hall required to be replaced. (01 No. 2700 BTU at Wheel house, 01 No. 1800 BTU each at Crew Cabin 2 & 3, 01 Nos 1200 BTU each at VIP Cabin 1 & 2 , Total = 05 Nos.)

Sea water cooling pump of all AC i.e 05 Nos required to be replaced

MAST REPAIR WORK Defective base plate of anchor light, navigation light, communication equipment’s main Mast, National and BSF Flag base, Main Mast bottom supporting members & brackets, Mast arm & flag hoisting arrangement etc. required to be cleaned and polishing any defect to be renewed.

NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENT The multifunctional digital display chart should be serviced. Inspect and test the display unit and ensure that all features are functioning properly. Additionally, all the connected navigational equipment’s with digital display should be synchronized and calibrated

Inspect the anemometer & its display, and servicing and calibration should be carried out.

Inspect VHF radio /marine set antennas for corrosion or damage. Replace damaged antennas and ensure proper mounting. Test the Marine radio system for clear transmission and reception. Ensure that communication channels are working correctly for emergency and routine communication.

PIPE LINES AND VALVE All pipes of fresh water line, fuel supply lines, sewage lines, fire lines, sea water lines and bilge system lines required to be checked /pressure tested and defective/already temporary repair pipes need to be replaced. Diesel Oil Tank vent pipe, Sewage Tank Air Vent wasted portion needs to be replaced. Defective All air vents at main deck required to be renewed. Defective flanges and joints required to renew. All gasket to be replaced

All Non-returning/delivery valves defective required to be change with new one.

After replacing of defective hose pipes, valves, and gas kits, leakage testing must be done and any leakage be rectified.

Whenever lift or lower the rescue boat into the water using davit, the gear unit suddenly slips on its own, which increase the risk of accidents. Therefore, the gear unit needs to be properly checked and serviced, and locking system in Gear should be installed to prevent it from slipping.

DAVITS AND BOAT CRADLES Davit base plate and its fasteners are completely rusted at bottom. So that base plate of davit required to be replaced with SS plate and SS fasteners. Davit arm, pulley, gear system needs to be repaired. Davit rope required to be renewed. Gear oil leakage from gear unit of davit required to be repaired and seal of gear unit also required to be replaced with new. TVRO (TELEVISION RECEIPT ONLY) TVRO system MODEL- SUPER TRACK S6, Make- KNS along with 03 Nos Tata Play dish required to be serviced and proper functioning should be checked. One year subscription for Hindi and English channels should be recharged. All LED TV and connection be cheeked and defective required to be replaced.

MISCELLANEOUS (EXTERNAL FITMENTS) All Floor (including wheel house VIP cabin and crew cabin) required to be replaced by PVC Lelonium sheet superior quality with proper layout of floor. Anti-skidding floor cover of crew cabins, wheel house, VIP cabins required to be replaced with new.

03 KW Hybrid inverter with multiple power point mounting (MPPT) along with lithium ion battery for 06 to 08 Hrs back up for 10 fan ,15 light, navigational lights, TVRO/Dining room TV and 02 points for mobile charging. The inverter system will be charged by 01 KW solar panel fitted on the top the cabin and remaining charging of inverter will be done from the running of DG set. Separate wiring to be done or synchronising with existing wiring. The capacity of solar panel can be decrease/increase as per the area available on the top of Cabin/Wheel House.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Insulation resistance test (Megger test) and original equipment manufacture’s (OEM) recommendation for preventive maintenance to be carried out for the following electrical items: - a. Power and lighting circuits. b. Instant hot water geysers required to be serviced at 04 Nos bathrooms

Defective LED light & fixtures SS on the outer deck at Port and STBD side are required to be replaced with new LED lights and new light fixture. Main deck forward side and aft side 02 Nos each 100 watts water proof LED Light with box, MCB and also required to be provided with cover with proper fitting. Engine room Defective LED lights and its fixture is required to be renewed.

VIP Cabins, Wheel house and Jawan Cabin light required to be checked if defective it should be replaced with new.

All bunk fans required to be serviced. Non repairable to be replaced. Old/serviced fan to be painted properly

Bilge alarm system and bilge pump float switch not working properly required to be repaired and it’s proper functioning should be checked.

Clear view screen installed at Port side front glass of Wheel house is to be removed and replaced with new glass, if technically applicable for clear vision of Master.

PAINTING WORK Before painting all portion to be cleaned. Ensure FRP lamination and gel coat wherever applicable to be done complete painting of whole vessel under water, all internal compartment, external decks, bulk heads, all FO tanks, FW tanks, sewage tank, and engine room as per painting scheme required to be done after preparing the surface. Draught Marks also be done. BSF Monogram and national flag sticker of existing size pasted at appropriate place on vessel STBD & Port side. Name of Medium crafts should be mentioned in existing manner at existing place. Painting scheme is as under :-Anti- fouling paint system as per latest international Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations shall be applied to hull bottom (Below water line). The pattern of the paint on the outer body part of the boat will be disruptive with combination of OG & cream / Smoke gray color.
