OD261022/2025-2026:The annual maintenance contract of 500KVA Cummins make DG set installed at Electrical Control Room, Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram covers the preventive maintenance of the DG set carried out by service engineer 6 times in a year (bi-monthly) which includes attending breakdown calls, petty repairs and general check up of Engine, Alternator and control panels. The general check up includes checking of water pump, valves, oil levels, cleaning of filters, filling required quantity of water in radiator, arrest the leakage of oil or water if any, checking and cleaning battery terminals, applying petroleum jelly, check the density of electrolyte in battery, check the connections of in built panel, report major components/ spares to be replaced etc and make the DG set in perfect working condition at all times during its operation, removing contaminated oil and filling up of required quantity of Engine oil etc.

OD267370/2025-2026:Charges for Inspection, Servicing and Testing of 1250 kVA Transformer including checking the primary and secondary windings, cleaning from dust, dirt, grease and possible foreign bodies using clean dry compressed air, Tightening of the bolts of HV and LT terminals and all electrical connections and tightening of all other mechanical parts etc if required for the proper functioning of the existing transformer . Inspection, Servicing and Testing must be done in the presence of PWD officers at site by the authorised service agent of the company/firm.
