MANNING AND OPERATION OF 33/11 KV MRS-I AND MRS-II, 11 KV SUB STATION AND DG SET AT K SECTOR AND AC PLANT AND DG SET AT RUKMANI HUB (TS) AT DOLPHIN HILLS AREA UNDER AGE E/M NO - I OF GE (UTILITY- I) VISAKHAPATNAM

Outsourcing the services for manning and operation for 33/11 KV MRS-I & MRS-II located near L sector including 33 KV Yard-I&II, HT/LT panels, 33/11 KV out door Transformers -4 Nos, station transformers-2 Nos, 33 KV breakers, 11 KV Breakers etc and Manning and Operation for 11KV Substation connected HT panels, HT RMU, LT panels, outdoor substations including 62.5 KVA Diesel engine driven Gen set and connected AMF/LT distribution panels at K sector sub-station including back up protection for smooth and trouble free operation of sub-station round the clock in three shifts of 08 hours each including switching ON/OFF street light DBs/Timers, Complete including loading of diesel in the fuel tank regular checking of engine oil, battery electrolyte and radiator water level and rectifying minor defects such as Engine Air lock, tightening of loose bolts and nuts etc, which may develop during operation and relative parameters all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Outsourcing : One Skilled electrician and two Semi-skilled electrician per shift of 08 Hours.

Note: (i) The 33 KV supply from APEPDCL Malkapuram sub station to MRS Dolphin Hills to be monitored by the operator. The HT OH line from Malkapuram to MRS Dolphin Hills to be patrolled once in a month for preventive breakdowns. Additional manpower required for the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Necessary transportation should be provided by the contractor and the rate quoted is deemed to be included in per shift rate. (ii) Rate quoted deemed to be inclusive for additional man power required for early restoration of supply in case of emergency. (iii) The contractor has to work in conjunction with other agencies working at Dolphin Hills area to resolve the break down issues without creating inconvenience to users. (iv) The capacitors banks shall be operated for maintaining power factor not less than 0.95 at incomer. Any charges levied by APEPDCL for non maintaining power factor shall be recovered without any claim.

(v) The installation will be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract though work order. (vi) Keeping daily record of DG running hrs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vii) Carrying out A check of DG set daily as per Manufacturer's manual. (viii) Replacing of distilled water/battery electrolyte and charging of batteries as and when required. (ix) The operator shall ensure by trial run and be alert to run the DG Set within 5 minutes of supply failure

(x) (a) HSD oil required for running DG Set will be issued under Schedule ‘B’ free for filling which will be made available at site by Department. (b) It is the contractor’s responsibility to maintain the minimum reserve of oil in tank at any time and as directed by EIC. (c) Necessary Men power required to load the HSD oil at Store yard and to unload the HSD Oil at site shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall include for the same.

(xi) The quoted rate is inclusive regular checking of engine/HSD oil, battery electrolyte and radiator water level and rectifying minor defects such as Engine Air lock, tightening of loose bolts and nuts etc, which may develop during operation and relative parameters all as specified .

(xii) The contractor shall be responsible to communicate the concerned JE/AGE/GE regarding any type of breakdown/fault within 10 minutes of incident. (xiii) The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the complete area (i.e. inside boundary wall) such as building , lawn, garden , Bldg plinth, hard standing , footpath etc in neat and clean position. All necessary T & P for cutting / Cleaning of grass and vegetation will be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost. (xiv) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in the tool box with operator for smooth functioning. (xv) The contractor shall provide protective clothing, helmet and shoes to all persons on duty and the cost of the same is to be included in the unit rate. (xvi) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of log sheets, break down register, complaint register, earthing testing register etc, and cost of T & P for maint work, minor consumable such as RYB indication lamps , PG Clamps, PVC insulation tape , screws, washers, nails, Teflon tape, Fuse wire, clips, bolts , nuts etc for day to day maintenance and repairs.

Outsourcing the services for manning and operation of central type AC Plant (3x24 TR) and AHU at TS-1 for smooth and trouble free operation round the clock in three shifts including attending and rectifying minor adjustments to the controls for smooth operation of the compressor units condenser water pump, softening plant and blower motor and keeping an hourly record of the plant running and room temperature all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Out sourcing :- One Skilled operator per shift of 8 hrs each.

Outsourcing the services for manning and operation of central type (Air cooled liquid chillers type) AC Plant (2x45 TR+1x30 TR) and AHU at Rukmani Hub, standby diesel engine driven Gen set and connected AMF/LT distribution panels at Rukmani Hub for smooth and trouble free operation round the clock in three shifts including attending and rectifying minor adjustments to the controls for smooth operation of the compressor units, condenser water pump, softening plant and blower motors and keeping an hourly record of the plant running and room temperature all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Out sourcing :- One Skilled operator per shift of 8 hrs each.

Note for Item No. 2 & 3:- (a) The contractor has to arrange the dry/wet bulb thermometer for recording hourly room temperature. (b) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of minor servicing like greasing of bearings, replacement of glands, belts / rubber coupling etc. (c) Periodical cleaning of AHU filters is contractors responsibility (d) Keeping neat and clean of complete installation area by grass cutting and removing the debris in around premises.

(e) Keeping daily record of DG running hrs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (f) Carrying out A check of DG set daily as per Manufacturer's manual. (g) Replacing of distilled water/battery electrolyte and charging of batteries as when required.
