The contractor who intends to get pre-qualified for taking up the above work under KNNL should submit through e-portal the details mentioned below along with requisition for blank tender documents. The blank tender documents will be made open to those contractors who meet the pre-qualification criteria for taking up the aforesaid work. The information furnished by the contractor meeting with the prequalification conditions SHOULD BE supported with relevant documents. EACH OF THE SAID DOCUMENT SHOULD BE DULY SIGNED BY THE contractor as a token of genuinely and truthfulness of the documents without self-attested signature of the contractor will not be considered for prequalification.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The contractor should furnish the name of the individual /firm with address and telephone No with place of registration, year of incorporation, Scanned specimen signature, etc.

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

Banker Details

Amount put to the tender is exclusive of GST. GST will be paid at applicable rates at the time of payment of RA Bills.The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor is responsible. Hence, the contractor should quote the rates excluding GST

As per Royalty charges is concerned, contractor should submit MDPs for each material issued from Mines and Geology Department, GOK. Otherwise penalty charges will be recovered as per Nigam Circular No.8708 Dt:26.12.2023

Photo copies of the work under taken in the stages of before execution work under progress, and completion of the work should be produced at the time of submitting the bill by the contractor on his own cost.

If the amount quoted by the contractor for the work is below ninety percent of estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender of the department, then the contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for any amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted percentage and 90% of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender. In case of contractor quotation rates above 125% of the estimated rates then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of the entire cost of the work as per agreement.

The conditional tender will be rejected.

A Cess of 1% of the agreement amount will be deducted as per Karnataka Building and other Labour Welfare Fund Act 1996 and Rules 2006

Typographical errors, if any, will not be the ground for any claims by the Bidder/ Firm/ Company.

The tenderer shall furnish required information in all formats. Scan and upload all Formats/Original documents required for this bid to the kpp portal. The Original Formats/Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of Bid for physical verification

The defect liability period for the work is 12 (Twelve) calendar months.

The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Any change / extensions, etc in the tender schedule (calendar of events) will not be published / advertised through news papers changes will be updated on/in kpp portal only

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good

In case first lowest bidder doesnot come forward to conclude agreement and execute the work within the stipulated period the next lowest bidders will be offered to execute at the first lowest bidders rate if the competent authority desires it
