Design, Drawing, fabrication, supply, erection,testing and commissioning of Vertical lift fix wheel type sliding gate/inter changeable Stop log gates consisting of skin plate, stiffeners, horizontal girders, pulley, pulley supports, bracings, lifting lug,bracket, rubber seals, clamps plates etc., with all accessories as per relevant for Canal , sluice Vertical gates and spillway gates including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cutting, bending, aligning, anchoring, welding, seal fixing, tools and tackles etc., finishing, cleaning, applying two coat of zinc rich epoxy primer to give dry film thickness of 70± 5 microns and finish coat(two coats)of solvent less coal tar epoxy paint using airless spray to provide dry film thickness of 150± 5 microns per coat thus total dry film thickness of all coats, including primer coating, should not be less than 350 microns., complete as per specifications and approved drawings complete, including packing & forwarding, transportation charges for structural steel components and other materials.

Labour charges for Plugging the bay by stoplogs and removal the same after complete erection, testing and commissioning.

Checking of Embedded Parts (seal seats,shoe guides,wheel tracks & sill beams etc.) of each bay including cost of tools, tackles, all kind of man power, , etc, complete. (Inspection/ checking for critical dimension, alignment, pitting, corrosion, cracks, deformation, weld joints for embedded parts. The embedded parts, namely, track beam, guides, seal seats, gate groove lining etc shall be checked at least up to double the gate height, in one operation. The check should be carried out both with respect to location and levels with respect to the sill beam already established in position. Each part should be checked first individually and thereafter relatively -with the other parts. Guides and counter guides should be checked for exact location and true alignment. i. The following salient dimensions shall be checked at intervals of 300 mm from the bottom to double the gate height. a. Centre to centre distance of track beams, b. Centre to centre distance of side seal seats, c. Face to face distance of guides, d. Face of track beam to face of side seal seat, e. Face to track beam to center line of guide, f. Vertical distance between sill and the centre line of top seal seat. ii. Entire gate slot shall be checked thoroughly so as not to have any obstructions for the travel of gate. Carrying out repair/ rectification by welding, grinding etc as per requirement. iii. Second stage concrete shall be checked for any developments of cracks/ leakages and repairs should be attended to immediately. If embedded parts are found defective. it should be repaired on the priority basis including all the consumables as per requirements of embedded parts(cost of item excluding all consumables)

Providing fabrication and fitting work of Stainless steel flat on Embedded parts (on Departmental section, only MS section Given by department) of gates with testing , including cost of all materials( SS flat and welding rods etc.), machinery, tools and tackles, labour, cutting, aligning, welding, finishing, cleaning, applying two coat of cement primer etc., complete as per specifications and approved drawings, including packing & forwarding, transportation charges for structural steel components and other materials.

Cleaning the concrete surface by removing dirt and debris, marking defective locations and removing loose concrete by careful stripping untill hard surface is exposed, cutting the concrete to regular shape, wire brushing the exposed surface and removing debris.

Applying epoxy based reactive joining agent for joining the old concrete with fresh concrete to be applied within manufacturer's specified time as per manufacturers specification. (0.4 Kg / m² of concrete surface). Note: Applicable only when the full diameter of reinforcement steel is exposed.

Special Item:- IInd stage design mix concrete with gaded metal of max size 12.5 mm in gate groove & sill beam, after fixing alignment of second stage parts, sill beam, including cost of material, labour for shuttering, mixing, laying scaffolding consolidating, curing and cleaning & finishing/ chipping as required with all leads & lifts etc. complete. M-25 Concrete.

Cutting, removing of 11 Nos. (three tier) damaged gates from 11 bays and storing the same in FBP storage yard as per directions of Engineer - in - Charge.

Overhaul / service / repair of hoist equipments with reduction gear boxes, cross shafts, rope drums,adjustment of Dial indicator,plummer blocks,manual operation unit, hoist motors,couplings,brake units including supply of consumable items viz. packing, gear oil, electrical insulating varnish, grease, brake linings, repeats, nuts bolts etc. complete.of each gate.

Supplying nylon cage netting 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter size with knot having mesh size 17.5 cmx17.5 cm constructed with nylon thread (210x24) having tensile strength not less than 250 kg/sq cm including carriage,delevary and stacking at site inclusive of alltaxes complete.

Labour charges for dumping and placing in position properly filled in Nylon crates with filled in gunny / poly cement bags (minimum 25 nos. having capacity 50 kg) with local earth or sand, sewing and tying the crate with nylon wire within a lead of 150 m. and all lifts in river slope or bed by cutting trenches upto 50 cms depth, if necessary, or by boat including cost of hire charges of boat, boatmen and other necessary equipments and also including cost of bags, carriage and charge of filling bags with earth / sand but excluding cost of nylon crate as per direction of the Engineer – in – Charge. NB:- Volume of each earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 m3 Size of Nylon crate is 1metre X 1metre X 1metre. (a) Where boats are not necessary
