SCHEDULE 'A'

M&L for Maintenance Free chemical earthing pit Pipe-In-Pipe Technology, using M.S Pipes of Outer Dia 76 mm with a wall thickness of 1.6 mm, Inner Dia 42 mm with a wall thickness of 2.6 mm, Over all Length not less than 2000 mm, External Corrosion Protection, Galvanisation (80-100 microns), Internal Corrosion Protection, A ground breaking corrosion resistant Crystalline Conductive Compound filled and compacted in the cavity within the pipes to enhance the electrodes performance, ELECTRODITE Manufactured using Eco - Friendly minerals, Blended homogeneously with conductive carbon(s), Resistivity : < 5 ohmmetre, (In ideal moist conditions),> 5 ohm-metre (Dry Conditions), High water retention capacity, Hygroscopic, Ionic & Electronic conduction, Swells when it comes in contact with water thereby engaging constant, contact between the electrode surface & soil of not less than 50 kg. Conforms to IS : 3043 - 1987 i.e., Code Of Practice For Earthing along with Poly Plastic Earthpit Chamber Cover Heavy Duty (5 ton Capacity ) fixed in position, testing, complete all as specifeid and as directed.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required with copper Strip 20x3 mm and connecting of strip with brazing/ welding only complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earth plate marking made up of angle iron 25x25x3 of length not less than 1.0 mtr, (0.5 mtr above GL) fixed with MS plate of 2 mm thick, 30 x 20 cm in triangle shape by welding, with two coats of red oxide paint with one coat of red colour synthetic enamel paint and written "Maint Free Chem EP, ER Value :____" in black colur and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement of Earthing complete with GI Earth Plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode connected with GI earth lead GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm by means of nuts/bolts/ check nuts/ wahers , GI pipe light grade of 40 mm bore as protection pipe, GI Strip of length not more than 7.5 mtr and connected to test point. GI pipe 20mm dia light grade for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC pit and RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 for cover with 8 mm dia bar reinforcement both ways @ 140 c/c including excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Aluminium strip 25x3 mm with Proceline / bakelite insulators and fixing screws etc. and connections are made by nuts/ bolts/ washers complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of GI strip 32x 6 mm with Proceline / backlite insulators and fixing screws etc. and connections are made by nuts/ bolts/ washers complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long with necessary PCC block fixing arrangements complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F GI Protection pipe of 40 mm dia light grade along with necessary clamps and fixing screws complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for measuring and recording of any type of Earth pit resistance value once in every month. The readings should be measured after properly disconnecting the earth lead from the equipment/power DB and connecting the same after completion of recording, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) All the records should be maintained in a register and submitted to the department by 25th of every month with a signature of technical rep of contractor and rep individual section incharge. (ii) Measurement of earth resistance should be all as per IS 3048.

M&L for replacement of exiting nuts, bolts washers etc of iron / GI with new complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for brazing / welding of copper strip with necessary copper / brass electrode of any existing copper strip of max size 32 x6 mm complete all as specified and as directed.
