Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in soft/loose soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost to Government)

Returning, filling in, excavated soil in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of thickness not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down old existing steel/PVC tubing and connections of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors / on walls etc including all fittings/accessories and fixtures such as bends, union,elbow socket, valves, taps etc, all as directed and specified for 20 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separetely under respective item of Sch 'A'.

NOTE : (i) The old retrieved steel tubing obtained in serviceable conditions from taking down shall be used after cutting & removing unserviceable portion and cutting threads at ends. M&L for fabrication and fixing of MS clamp of flat iron minimum 2 mm thick sheet made to shape alongwith necessory nuts, bolt washers etc all as specified and directed by the Engineer -in-charge suitable for stopping leaking of pipe lines of size 100mm dia to 250mm dia in any position. Clamps shall be made to shape and size as approved, tightened with suitable nuts, bolts washers as directed. Note:- (i) Clamps shall be fabricated from the flat iron of approved size. Weight of clamps including nuts, bolts and washer shall be measured for payment purpose. (ii) Clamp shall be tightened with using suitable rubber washers/packings. (iii) Clamp shall be provided two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface all around.

Taking down existing, 100m bore cast iron pipe lines / water mains of any description / grade and in position including all fittings, accessories and fixtures etc existing in between pipe line, by taking out and opening any type of joints (Tyton /Gasket / Lead joints) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Including applying one coat of super quality lime to internal surface of semi underground/above ground level sump incl writing date of cleaning , capacity with super enamelled white paint over surface of black enamelled paint for following capacity of sumps and also including applying two coats of synthetic enamel black paint on steel surfaces of ladder, railing etc or on the aeration CI/GI pipe steel structure such as wash out, overflow pipe , inlet pipe, outlet pipe complete all as specified and directed for the UG sump of capacity 1.0 LG . Note :- (i) No T&P will be provided by the Deptt.(ii) Contractor shall be fully responsible for safety of deployed person. Note : Sludge /waste material shall be thrown away from pump house premises where directed by Engr incharge .

M&L for Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets of any description and in any position including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit, jand also jointing of crack/leaked HDPE pipe with MS sheet jointing clamp,rubber sheet, nut, bolts and washer etc replacement of defective column pipes, and including Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge in bore wells at various locations under GE(A) Bhuj Note: 1 Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. 2. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities pumps & motors :- (a) 30 to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at authorised workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.-

Taking out and removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motors of any description and in any position of 30HP to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding & testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed :- Note : (i) The winding wire shall be of make ATLAS/FINOLEX (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include the cost of transportation from site to authorised workshop and back, fixing / lowering in position (a) 30 to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.

Disconnecting the water mains from the suction and delivery pipe line of serviceable centrifugal pump sets/open well pump set of any description and in any position, any capacity and taking out pump set / motor from the base frame including disconnecting electric connections and foundation, nuts and bolts. for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor of capacity upto 5 HP capacity, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop.
