SCHEDULE "A' PART - I
Manning for operation and maintenance of 2x fire fighting pump houses and DG sets at Naval Park including LT panels, pressure vessels, pump sets, valves and lines inside pump house including attending to the routine maintenance of plants for smooth and trouble free operation complete round the clock in 3 shifts of 08 hours each including sundays and holidays all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Manpower :- One Semi-Skilled Operator per shift. Shift timings:- I st shift - 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs II nd shift - 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs III rd shift - 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs

LIST OF INSTALLATIONS :- (i) Fire fighting pump house near Samagri - 1 No. (ii) Fire fighting pump house near Faristha - 01 No. Equipment Details: (i) Electric driven pump set 82KW. Make Kirloskar- 02 Nos (main and stand by in each pump house) (ii) Electric driven pump set 26 KW, Make: Kirloskar- 01 No (Jockey pump set in each pump house)
DG Set details:- DG Set 320 KVA - 02 nos with AMF / Synchorizing pane, 100 KVA - 01 No, HT Switch gear.
Note: (i) The contractor is fully responsible for immidiate switch on the DG sets for smooth and trouble free operation of the fire fighting pump houses, lifts, STPs and street loights. (ii) The Operator shall ensure the serviceability of all pump sets, lines and panel boards and kept ready to meet any fire incident. (iii) The Operator is also responsible for maintaining pump sets and valves including replacement of gland ropes, greasing, cleaning and adjustment of starters, contactors etc. (iv) Diesel and engine oil shall be issued by department and transportation of oil from sub-divison to site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(v) The unit rate is deemed to include for maintaining log books, record of repairs / replacement of perished / unserviceable, minor adjustments, minor rapairs of all accessoried cleaning / up keeping of plant & surrounding area. (vi) The rate quoted is also deemed to be inclusive of mixing of consumable items if any. (vii) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in a tool box with operator in the shift for smooth functioning of installations.
Manning for operation and maintenance of laboratory, sewage treatment plant based on principles of aerobic attached growth, non clogging, moving bed bioreactor (MBBR) having capacity of 500 cum per day at Naval Park Visakhapatnam and sewage pump house at Naval Park and Amzari Park in three shifts of 08 hours each including Sundays & holidays for smooth and trouble free operation, including all pumps and equipments complete including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly comprehensive maintenance round the clock in three shifts of 08 hours each per day including sundays and holidays by mixing all consumable material including chemicals, media and other spares to achieve the below mentioned parameters all as required and as specified. (Consumables shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of this schedule).

(iii) Includes manning, operation and maintenance of micro processor based constant current technology sewage water disinfection equipment suitable to operate on AC 220 volts, 50 Hz supply using dual (copper & silver) ionization process suitable for output of PDTP of 500 cum/day capacity. Tertiary treated water after subjected to dual ionization in synergy with chlorination before flowing in the recycling water network must satisfy following water quality criteria :-
(a) BOD - < 10 mg/ltr (b) TSS - 10 mg/ltr (c) DO - 5 mg/ltr or more (d) PH - 6.5 - 8.5 (e) Coli form - 100 MPN per 100 ml (f) Residual silver - 0.01 - 0.06 ppm (g) Residual copper - 0.05 - 0.5 ppm (h) Residual chlorine 0.1 -0.2 ppm,
Notes: The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of (a) Maintaining daily record of all pumps running status. (b) Rectifying minor defects such as arresting of pipeline leakage, greasing of pumps, Gland packing, fuse wire, repairs to foot valve etc.,. (c) The installation will be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract though work order. (d) Cleaning of Bar screen cum oil & grease separation chamber daily twice all as directed. (e) Cleaning/ slaking of sludge drying beds every week or when required all as directed. (f) Operation of arboricuture pumpsets including control for supplying treated water as and when required. (g) During the operation of the plant, the MLSS (Mixed liquid suspended solids) shall be maintained not less than 4000 mg/ltr in Eco-R tank.
(k) The sludge generated by STPs will be disposed by the contractor as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (l) Man power (skilled) employed shall have minimum 02 years work experience in operation of STP.
Equipment and plant Details of Raw sewage pump house :- (i) Raw sewage pump house with 12.5HP/ 20 HP capacity submersible sludge pump sets - 2 Nos.
Note 1 for SL item No. 1 & 2:- Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.
Note 2 for SL item No. 1 & 2:- 1. Contractor shall quote wages, employers contribution towards EPF liability, contribution towards ESIC, contribution towards bonus, LWC and overhead & profit separately as applicable as per instruction in vogue in respective sub items. 2. The rate quoted for items of outsourcing / Manning shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/concerned state Government/Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective heading / sub-items. In case any quoted rate against the above items / subitems mentioned above which correspond works out to lower than the prevailing minimum rate of wages / subscription / contribution towards EPF / ESIC/ Bonus / LWC the bid will be treated as non bonafide / invalid, shall be disqualified ......
...... and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid / bonafide bids only and no claim on this account is entertained. The prevailing rate / wages / contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date. 3. (a) The contractor shall submit the ID Proof, Bank Account No, EPF account number and ESIC account number of Operator / Person Employed. (b) The payment shall not be less than minimum labour wages and payment of labour / employee shall be made through Online Banking like NEFT/ RTGS etc,.
(c) The quoted rate in sub items of wages, EPF, ESIC and Bonus will be released only after producing authenticated Documentary proof of payment as per prevailing rates deposited in the concerned employees account duly signed by contractor and shall be submitted along with RAR / final Bill for payments. 4. Quotations with 'Nil' or "Zero" consideration (overhead and profit) will be considered non bonafide. 5. Any variation in minimum wages, liability of EPF / ESIC / Bonus / LWC / GST shall be adjusted for reimbursement/ Recovery as under:- (i) Variation in minimum wages including other related statutory provisions shall be adjusted in tems of condition 63 of GCC (IAFW-2249). (ii) Variation in percentage/ rate of GST and LWC shall be adjusted as per special conditions here in after which deals with "Reimbursement / Refund on Variation in Taxes Directly Related to Contract Value.
(iii) Rates shall be quoted only upto two digits after decimal. If any rate quoted/ derived by the contractor works out to more than two digits after decimal, then the same shall be rounded off upto two digits after decimal. The rounding off shall be done in accordance with rules for rounding off of Numerical Values in accordance with IS: 02 pf 1960 (Revised 2016) of BIS. 6. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work. If the contractor fails to submit the same within this stipulated period the contract shall be liable to be cancelled and the performance Security of the firm shall be forfeited accordingly.
7. (a) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Tools & plants shall be provided by contractor. (c) Temporary laying of LTUG cable of any size and any lenth for restoration of supply during break down / other requirement deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (d) Complaint register and Complaint slip books as per site requirement shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) All workers employed by the contractor shall be in proper uniform with name plate and other safety wearing items , shoes during the duty as per the electricity rules, which deemed to included in quoted rate.
(f) Departmental equipments of each installation,shall be under safe custody . In case of theft of any item from installation recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. (g) Group insurance for the operators shall be made by the contractor. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (h) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for leave/reserve of staff.
SCHEDULE "A' PART - II
Cutting/ cleaning of bushes/plants/ grass inside and surrounding area of plant/ equipment including disposal the material up to a distance not execeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Labour only for cleaning/ taking out of silt from sewage sumps, clarifier tank, aerator tank, sludge pumps and sludge bed and getting out and depositing out side the Naval Base area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Dried silt/ sludge shall only be measured and paid.
Material and labour for choke clearing of submersible pump at sewage pump house/ STP including dewatering the sewage sump to bottom level by using diesel driven mobile pump set type/ submersible type, lifting submersible pump with delivery main from bracket at bottom of sewage sump of depth 3 mtr to 5 mtr by using pully & chain block up to floor level, removing all debris from pump casing, removing defective 'D' clamps etc. inspecting impeller, bearing, by passing under current relay, testing the pump, lowering the pump with delivery main through guide wire rope by chain block, setting the pump to bottom bracket, testing the pump complete all as directed.
Note :- a) The Job to be completed with in 02 hours from choking of pump. b) The quoted rate is deemed to be include the Tool & Plants required for lifting, inspection, lowering etc., . c) All safety measures including lighting, safety shoes, safety glows to be provided by contractor.
M&L for lifting of unserviceable submersible motor / pump from sewage well / raw sump etc., of capacity 12.5 HP of any make (Non Clog type) and rewinding of electric motor with same gauge of super enamelled copper wire including varnishing, baking, drying till to get required megger value, replacement of terminal blocks, bearings on both drive end & non-drive end, re-assembling, testing, commissioning and re-erecting the same back in sump safely complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for removing of pumps from the sump for overhauling the pump of capcity 7.5 to 15 HP connected with submersible electric motors including opening the pump/ pump assemblies; re-metalling, grinding and polishing of pump shaft, replacement of DE & NDE bearings and bushes, repairs to impellers, replacement of mechanical oil seal, re-assembling the pump with motor including testing, commissioning etc., and erecting the same in sump complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: The spares /consumables like seals, grease, M-seal compound etc., shall be supplied by the contractor and rate quoted is deemed to be included for these provisions. The representative of the firm/ contractor may visit the site for assessing the quantum of work under each job here-in-before.
S & F in repairs flat copper cable, PVC insulated, sheathed un-armoured, flexible cable 1100 volts grade of size 3 core 4 Sq.mm complete for connecting to submersible pump including necessary water proof jointing compound etc. complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and replace Isolator, 4 pole 63 Amps, 415 Volt complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing in repairs SS chain made out of 8 mm dia rod including top and bottom clamps, nut and bolts for securing/ locking of submersible pump set in sewage well complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix in repairs 6 mm dia steel wire rope for submersible pump set as guide rope including necessary clamps, nuts, bolts etc. on top and bottom side in required lengths complete all as directed.
Supply and replacement of the following dia high density polythene pipe (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 Kg/ Sqcm laid in trenches including making leak proof joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Repairs to fire hydrants landing valves of any type fixed to buildings by replacing the rubber gasket inside female couplings of hydrants, arresting leakage including testing complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and replacement of hose boxes of size 800 x 600 x 250 mm with 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, frame made out of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick MS angle Iron with double door, glazed with 4 mm thick sheet glass and including necessary locking arrragement, preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (fire red outside and brilliant white inside) over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
M/L for pressure testing of existing 150 mm DI/MS fire main system , identifying leakages for rectifications including replacement of gland packing of sluice valves, rubber insertion packing, nut ,bolts etc., of flanged joints/ defective flanges etc., complete for making the system leak proof complete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge. Note: (a) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P such as air compressor for pressure testing etc., (b) Earthwork if any shall be measured and paid under relevant schedule items of BOQ.

Disconnecting the delivery pipe line and electric connections of submersible pump set lifting and lowering for reuse of any capacity, from its position along with pipes and fittings carefully with the help of required T&P, flushing of existing borewells of size 150 mm dia 150 Mtrs depth with drilling compressor including surging and flushing the bore at a pressure of 7 Kg / Sq cm complete with compressed air and flushing the sand, mud etc from the bore well till discharge of the fresh water including testing of water samples for chemical and bacteriological tests and yield testing for 8 hours complete all as specified and directed .
Supply, fix, testing and commissioning new 12 Volts, 180 AH In-built Battery charger including removing existing unserviceable one complete all as directed.
Disconnecting the delivery pipe line and electric connections of submersible pump set of 5 to 7.5 HP for inspection, repairs and re-assembling the pump and motor as per the original assembly after repairs / replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning replacing the minor items like packing bolts, nuts washers and MS clamps etc and applying one coat of approved hammertone spray paint on exposed steel surface, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including lathework etc., and testing the same for satisfactory operation on its full load all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
Note: The spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under relavent items of BOQ

Disconnecting electric connections and taking out the Mono block pump set of capacity upto 5 to 10 HP and lifting and removing it from its position along with pipes and fittings carefully with the help of required T&P and transporting the same to the work shop for repair / servicing/ rewinding with existing gauge super enamelled copper conductor and same No of turns of existing make insulating winding with existing class of insulation varnishing baking up and drying and lowering and refixing the same in its original position including connecting up of water and electric connections including testing and commissioning complete all as specified.
Labour only for attending break down of 200/150/100/80 mm dia MS ERW pipe line bursting / cracks and including cleaning / removal of broken pipe pieces of various lengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including welding works, inserting necessary specials such as pipes, Collar / mechanical Joints etc as per site requirement, testing for leakages of lead joints, testing and necessary dewatering complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge, for the following sizes:- Note 1 :- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable Pump sets for dewatering at the time of attending break down. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending break down. (iii) Labour element required for fixing MS pipes, specials, fittings etc. (iv) Rate for specials, fittings etc. are required to be included in quoted rate. Note 2 :- Earth work and MS pipes will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.
