Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of reduction gear boxes split type 10” size of reputed make like (David brown/ greaves/Elecon/Radicon) with two way output shaft, right-side and left-side for under-sluice gate with gear ratio of 1:60 and suitable for power rating 11KW. The job includes dismantling of the old gear boxes and adjustments/Alignment for the upgrade and Commissioning of the gearboxes for smooth drive of the gate. (certificate of originality/warranty card of the gearbox to be provided by supplier)

Replacement of worn-out gunmetal bush (as per sample) of gate pulleys for under-sluice, spillway, and HR gates. The job includes disassembling of the pulleys and refitting of the pulleys after replacement of bushes The job includes balancing and commissioning of gates for smooth drive.

Providing and fixing of gear type couplings for gates at headworks.(as per sample). Commissioning of the gate drive.

Providing and fixing of pin bush type coupling dia 9” (each consisting of two pairs) with coupling bolts with synthetic bush each for HR gates, Under sluice gates and Spillway gates (as per sample).

Providing and fitting of 25mm dia hemp core multi stranded steel wire ropes of standard make (certificate for conformance to IS: 2266 by the manufacturer to be submitted by the contractor) to spillway gate No. 1 at Barrage. The job includes dismantling of old wire rope, fixing of new rope with heated lead and tin into the rope socket. All tools and tackles shall be included in the job. Applying cadmium compound to the newly fixed wire rope and balancing of the gate and commissioning for smooth drive of the gate.
