Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying/taking out of cables,CI/GI pipe lines and getting out in sooft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exceding 50mtr from starting point and depositing where directed at a level not more than 1.5M above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable CI/GI water main from trenches including fittings / fixtures like bend, Tee, Union, Elbow etc with flanged ends all as specified and as directed for following size of pipes. Note: Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Relaying of old serviceable CI/GI tubing obtained from Srl item No. 04 here-in-before, after cleaning the pipes internally and externally with all fittings laid in trenches, floor, under road, wall, ceiling, floors etc complete all as specified and directed for the following size of pipes:-

Supply and laying Cast Iron pipes,with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast, class LA, confirming to IS-1536 of 2001 in any length laid in trenches or on supports including making alteration in existing /new pipe line for insertion of new pipe if necessary of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix accessories, CI specials confirming to IS 1538 (any type radius and angle) such as bends, tapers, straight, increasing / decreasing or double socket / flanged end collars, connecting pieces etc, as required at site suitable for pipe upto 150mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 6 & 7 : Lead joints and jointing material shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Detection of leakage in main water line by necessary excavation in any type of soil, in any situation/depth including bailing out leakage water by suitable measures, repair to CI pipe of following sizes by burning & including lead, spun yarn etc as occuring at Site including cutting, threading for addition & alternation and for insertion of fittings all as required of following sizes:- Note:- (i) Rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation/ filling, making good the existing surfaces with the necessary T&P as required all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) CI specials shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply & fix SS Spindle CI sluice valve 1.6PN, long body, confirming to IS- 14846 : 2000 including dismantling of existing sluice valve complete and testing all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of following sizes:-

Construction of brick masonry valve pit chamber of inner dimension 900mmx900mmx1050mm suitable for valves up to 200 mm size, with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 for foundation, brick work in CM 1:6, rendering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick mixed with water proofing compound, coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, including necessary earth work, form work and provision of MS sheet cover of thickness not less than 2.80 mm on 50 x 50 x 6.0 mm Angle iron frame with locking arrangement, including painting over MS surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer etc.,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Description all as per item No 14 above but valve pit chamber of inner dimension 450mmx450mmx600mm.

M&L for painting the surface of each Pump- Motor set of any capacity with sluice valve complete with one coat of primer all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for painting of CI/GI pipes at pump houses such as suction and delivery main with two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per MES colour code including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing down old existing paint complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of RCC under ground sump of 100000 gallons capacity after de-watering and cleaning scrapping with steel brushes/hessin cloths of the sump walls from inside including floor of the sump complete and repair to vent pipes including providing wire mesh and clamps complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: If work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M) , the work will be redone upto the required level without any extra cost. Necessary tools and safety measures to be arranged by contractor.

M & L for cleaning of Overhead tank of 40000 Gallons capacity by scratching and cleaning inside walls,pillars and floors with bleaching powder and clean water including taking out dirt, mud from storage tank including stacking at site and removal to out side MD land and repair to vent pipes including providing wire mesh to cover all air gap holes and clamps complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: If work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M) , the work will be redone upto the mark without any extra cost. Necessary tools and safety measures to be arranged by contractor.

Supply and fix Gland packing for sluice valve and pumps of size 6mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle iron section of size 40X40X5mm or other section with gasket plates, rails,braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering,running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete with locking arrangement all as directed. (Under ground Sump)

M & L for Mild steel, plain, black sheet 2mm thick in wall cladding,steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws,clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up and welding handle for lifting, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as directed.

M & L for drilling and tapping cast iron/GI water mains (in position) for branch connections of the internal dia of 20mm bore size complete all as specifieda and directed.

Labour only for Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, along with existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (depth of pump set approximately 450 feet from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE: - ( i ). Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii). Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints along with flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately. (iii) Fixing element of spare parts supplied under item No 26.00 and 27.00 below shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item

Labour only for Lowering down of the duly repaired submersible pump set of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well along with column pipe 100 mm dia and submersible cable of any size (depth of pump set approximately 450 feet from GL) including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only the following items/ spare parts suitable for AC submersible pump set of 20 HP capacity dismantled under Schedule ‘A’ item No. 24.00 above all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking out defective indicator lamps of any size & capacity after disconnecting all the electrical connections and supplying, fixing and testing new Indicator lamps neon type suitable for 220 volts 50 Hz, AC supply including wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cable all as specified and directed (Make : L&T/ BCH/Rishab).

Disconnecting and taking out defective Amp meter of any description along with CT’s and supply, fixing, connecting and testing new Digital type, AC Amp meter 200 Amps of size 96mm×96mm with 3 nos C.T of Ratio 200/5 of class-1.0 including wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cable complete all as specified an directed. Make: DENKO/ ESCORP/AE.

Disconnecting and taking out defective MCCB after disconnecting all electrical connection and supplying, fixing, and testing new MCCB, 3 pole, 415 Volt AC supply, 250 Amps having breaking capacity Icu = 35/36 KA with fixed thermal & magnetic setting complete all specified and directed Make : Havells / C & S Electric Ltd / L&T / Standard / HPL / Indo Asian.

S&F in repair of contactor 4 pole with AC coil 415 volt 50 Hz, 25 Amp for motor starter complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for boring of holes horizontaly under road, pavement, hard standing for insertion of pipe of up to 200 mm bore, by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine complete all as specified and as directed.

Servicing of motorised butter fly valve 150mm/200 mm including removing,cleaning, greasing and electrical termination, testing, installing commissioning after servicing complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in replacement of control panel for PLC & GSM based Level monioring system of scada automated water supply system complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for repair / replacement of Bw 8040 membranes for R O plant 20000 litre Capacity including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair of UPVC flange of 80 mm dia size complete all as specified and directed. Make : Aster or equivalent as approved

M&L for RO plant wound filters sediment filter cartridge 20 micron including all necessary fittings and labour and all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Make : GE/pure Aqua or equivalent
