Trash cleaning at Barrage during chest nut harvesting season by way of engaging of boats and boatmen in order to carry out the on line trash cleaning of the trash racks installed at Barrage to minimize the loss of generation within a period of one year. The job includes all the tools and tackles required for the job along with all the consumables like fuel, lubricants etc. and transportation of labour to the site. Note :- The no. of days for which the trash clearance is required will depend upon the frequency of trash accumulation. The contractor shall be intimated by AEE concerned for the days when the trash clearance is required during the year. The division has estimated the maximum of 25 days of trash accumulated in the chestnut harvesting season, however the payment shall be made on prorata basis as per days of trash cleared by the contractor.

Trash cleaning at Forebay during approved shutdowns for a period of 1 year by way of engaging of boatmen along with skilled labour in order to carry out the trash cleaning upto the level that has been exposed during the approved shutdown along with disposal of the racked trash at suitable dumping area. The job includes all the tools and tackles required for the job along with all the consumables like fuel, lubricants etc. and transportation of labour to the site. The contractor may use the motor boats and 5 ton Coles crane stationed at Forebay however the fuel and all the required lubricants has to be provided by the contractor. has to provide fuel for the motor boats Note :- The no. of days for which the trash clearance is required will depend upon the frequency of trash accumulation. The contractor shall be intimated by AEE concerned for the days when the trash clearance is required. The division is planning to take up 4 trash cleanings during approved shutdowns for a period of 1 year, however the payment shall be made on prorata basis as per the trash cleanings done by the contractor. The completion period for trash cleaning during the approved shutdown shall be strictly within the duration of the approved shutdown for each trash cleaning.

Providing backup support during online trash cleaning done by the needbase staff of the division involved in the trash clearance along with tools and tackles, lubricants, and fuel charges for 5 ton Coles crane of MID/motor boats required for trash clearance and fuel for Tata Grande for ferrying of labour. Note :- The no. of days for which the trash clearance is required will depend upon the frequency of trash accumulation. The contractor shall be intimated by AEE concerned for the days when the trash clearance is required. The division is planning to take up 12 online trash cleanings during a period of 1 year, however the payment shall be made on prorata basis as per the trash cleanings done by the contractor.

Disposal of the trash that gets accumulated on the dumping bay during online trash cleaning of forebay by way of hiring of tractor and JCB for loading and dumping of the trash at suitable dumping areas. Note :- At present trash has accumulated on the dumping bay of the forebay and the contractor has to dispose the trash accumulated at present at the start of the contractor. It is assumed that a maximum of 12 jobs of disposal of trash shall be carried out during the 1 year contract period, however the payment shall be made on prorata basis.
