Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm

Excavating over areas, n. exc 1.5m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil.

Removing excavated material (soils) n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity.

M&L for Soling (or sub base) of spread thickness 150mm with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber using power roller exc 8 tonne & n. exc 12 tonne capacity

Material and labour for water bound macadam (WBM), 150mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers (each 75mm thick), with granite, trap or basalt aggregates of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consoilidated to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonnes capacity power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for water bound macadam (WBM), 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with granite, trap or basalt aggregates of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consoilidated to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonnes capacity power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air blower to remove all loose dirt/foreign materials, applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface and laying bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (Viscosity Grade Paving Bitumen of Grade VG-30), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and using with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

Taking out road furniture (Cat Eye, Road Studs etc)

Re-fixing of serviceable road furniture (Cat Eye, Road Studs etc) retrieved from item No 13.00 above.

S&F solar cat eye aluminum alloy (100% water proof design according to IP65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one Ni-Cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturer's instructions.

S&F metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1, removal of existing delineator, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Rubber speed breaker made from heavy duty tough rubber and polyethylene with high resistance wear & tear property. Best suitable height of 3" (75mm) for speed Restriction UVstabilized colours in black & Yellow combination. High reflective mark showing arrows in white colour are marked on both sides of yellow & black bumps. The two bumps Yellow & Black are both having end caps of contrast with two holes. The size of breaker is 375x50x500 with four holes. The whole breaker is fixed with epoxy hardener and Bolts (quoted rate shall be inclusive of supply of epoxy hardener and Bolts).

M&L for cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4) (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for embedding post complete all as specified and directed.

S&F road sign boards of size upto 1.5m width and 1.5m height including the following:- (i) Stainless Steel (Grade 316) hollow circular section (50 mm dia of height 3650 mm), medium weight as in posts and struts for sign boards including tops to shape as directed drilling holes, etc complete. (ii) Stainless steel plain sheets 1mm thick as in sign board and similar work cut to size, marking holes punched included round hearted screw or rivets and fixed to stainless steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up mitred angles etc as required completed. (iii) Coloured luminous acrylic PVC film (sheet) self adhesive of blue colour on stainless steel surfaces of boards etc complete. (iv) Coloured luminous acrylic PVC strip, logo letters or figures (Block, Roman, italic or Indian) with coloured luminous acrylic PVC film self adhesive, fixed on boards etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for providing 400 micron thick polyethene film white/light colour over 10 mm thick sand cushioning. Note:- quoted rate shall be inclusive of 10 mm thick sand cushioning

M & L for Cement concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 200 mm including mixing of polyester triangular fibre as secondary reinforcement complete all as specified and directed. Note : a) Use and waste of side form work is included in the quoted rate. b) Supply only polyester triangular fibre will be measured and paid seperately

Supply only polyester triangular synthetic fibres 6/12mm long with circumcircle diameter 30-35 micron designed for melting point 240 -260 degree Celsius having specific gravity 1.34 to 1.4 Recron 3S manufactured by M/s Reliance Industries Ltd Mumbai or M/s Finolex Industries Ltd or equivalent as secondary reinforcement in all type of concrete @0.25% by wt of cement complete. (@1.0 Kg per cum of PQC).

M & L for forming 20 mm wide and 200mm deep expansion joint filled with 12 mm thick and 155 mm deep polymer based filler board (Dura Board HD-10) above the polymer filler Board apply bond with breaker tape and above the breaker tape polyurethane backup rod of 25mm dia will be provided, remaining 20mm deep joint will be filled with polyurethane sealant conforming to BS-5212. The bottom width and vertical edges shall be primed with Two (02) coats of polyurethane sealant. The sealant should have minimum movement accommodation factor of (+ 30%) and care shall be taken that polyurethane sealant do not get spill out of the joint.

M & L for forming 10mm thick and 65mm deep (dummy) joints completely filled with polyurethane sealant compound conforming to BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 for hydrolysis/water resistance test will be carried out. Bottom and vertical edges shall be primed with Two (02) coats of polyurethane sealant. The sealant should have minimum movement accommodation factor of (+ 30%) and care shall be taken that polyurethane sealant do not get spill out of the joint.

M & L for forming 10mm thick and 30mm deep construction joint completely filled with polyurethane sealant compound conforming to BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test will be carried out. Bottom and vertical edges shall be primed with 02 (two) coats of polyurethane sealant. The sealant should have minimum movement accommodation factor of (+ 30%) and care shall be taken that polyurethane sealant do not get spill out of the joint.

S&F 800mm dia heavy duty road mirror convex type fixed with all necessary arrangements including SS pipe of dia 50mm and 2300mm height as directed by AGE(I), excavation, earth work and PCC complete.
