Mech Job Associated with inspection of various vessels and servicing of Safety valves in SA Plant FACT CD, during ATA-2020.

Mechanical Assistance For Vessel Inspection. Work involves: Opening manhole / dummies, provide manholes after removing the welded dummy if required, arranging scaffolding inside the following vessels wherever required for inspection / repair, assistance for thickness measurement, removal of scaffolding, closing the dummies with new gaskets after inspection, if there is any leak noticed in dummy flanges after start up within 3 months, provide box for sealing the joints. Incase of welded dummies welding shall be done after suitable edge preparation. The vessels listed below shall be opened only upon request from process department duly forwarded through maintenance department. List of vessels: FAT, ADT, IAT, Startup scrubber, W2, W3, W4, W5,W6, De-aerator, Stack, Air and gas duct, K1 (repair and removal of nozzles, blinds, if required shall be done) (1 No is 1 vessel)

Inspection and leak rectification of IAT,ADT & FAT Cast iron trays and distribution pipes. Transporting materials from stores, arranging necessary scaffolding, cut and remove the damaged bolts and nuts of distribution header pipe flange joints & tray joints. Patchwork / replace headers / distribution lines / tray joints with new gaskets, bolts and nuts and tighten the joints properly. Upon inspection, if overflow of acid is noticed in CI trays arrangements shall be made to rectify it as per instructions from Process dept. and shall be under the scope of contractor. (1 Nos is 1 joint).

Rectification of overflow in CI trays inside IAT. Work involves:- The overflow of acid from all 07 numbers of CI trays inside IAT shall be rectified by fabricating and fixing Alloy20 / 316L plates, as per the instruction of the site engineer in charge. The plates shall be cut to size, after taking necessary measurements to fix upon CI trays in order to completely avoid overflow of acid from the trays. At least 5 Number of plates shall be fixed / required in each tray. Totally, minimum 35 Nos. of plates shall be fixed / required.

Dismantling and refixing of relief valves and steam valves. a) Dismantling relief / safety valves of various vessels from position, transport the valves to work shop for reconditioning / testing and transport back, fixing in position with new gaskets, bolts nuts / studs etc. The number of valves dismantled will be as per the request from process department duly forwarded through mechanical maintenance department. List of valves : HP:- W4 outlet-2, W6 outlet-2, Steam drum-2, Rv-6 Ph-1 Header- 1, super heater outlet- 2 MP:- RV1 8ATA header-1, RV3 8ATA melter –1, RV2 NPK 5 ATA-1, LP:- De-aerator –1, MAB exhaust –2, BFW turbine exhaust –1, 4ATA melter-1.

Inspection and repair of IAT & FAT dilution water lines. Inspection / removal, repair / replacement of dilution water assembly in IAT and FAT including line modification if required.(1 No is 1 vessel)

Dismantling of the following valves from position, transport the valves to the workshop, fixing back in the system with new gasket, bolt-nuts etc.The number of valves dismantled will be as per the request from process department duly forwarded through mechanical maintenance department. 1. Startup steam NRV(1) 200 NB 2. Super heater NRV(1) 3. Steam vent line Isolation valve 200 NB - 2 Nos. 4. Start up I/V 200 NB (1 No.) (Temporary blinds shall be provided wherever necessary)
