1 Replacement of damaged Condenser Water Pump Unit of Centralized Chiller Plant comprising 03 Nos. × 225 TR Water Cooled Chillers installed at Government Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu, having duty parameters of minimum 187 m³/hr discharge and minimum 20 m head, by way of dismantling and removing the existing damaged condenser water pump from the pumping system, disconnecting suction and delivery pipe connections, coupling, foundation bolts and allied accessories, and providing, fitting, testing and commissioning of a New condenser water pump set-01 no. Make– KSB/Kirloskar/Beacon/Crompton. The job includes Repair/Modification of RCC Foundation for Condenser Water Pump by way of dismantling damaged concrete portions, chipping and cleaning the existing foundation, providing and laying cement concrete of suitable grade, grouting, fixing/replacing foundation bolts, leveling and alignment of pump base frame, curing of concrete, and carrying out all allied civil works required for proper installation and operation of the pump set. The Job then includes shifting of the new pump to site, positioning on modified foundation, alignment of pump and motor, fabrication/modification of base frame and foundation bolts, replacement of damaged nuts, bolts, gaskets, rubber inserts and coupling accessories, reconnection of suction and delivery pipe work after modification in sizes as required, checking and rectification of leakages, and ensuring proper operation of valves and associated fittings. The job also includes checking of motor alignment, lubrication of bearings, balancing of rotating parts, tightening of all electrical and mechanical connections, and carrying out necessary modifications for proper integration with the existing condenser water circulation system. The pump shall be tested for smooth operation, vibration level, discharge, pressure and overall performance under actual operating conditions. The job also includes trial run, testing and commissioning of the condenser water pumping system to ensure satisfactory operation of the complete chiller plant.
