S&F in repair earth continuity conductor or main earth lead fixed to wall or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or any other indicated situation as required of GI wire of size 4mm dia with necessary saddles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement of Earthing complete with GI Earth Plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode connected with GI earth lead GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm by means of nuts/bolts/ check nuts/ wahers, GI pipe light grade of 40 mm bore as protection pipe, GI Strip of length not more than 7.5 mtr and connected to test point. GI pipe 20mm dia medium grade for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC pit and RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 for cover with 8 mm dia bar reinforcement both ways @ 140 c/c including excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR-2009 complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 2 above but using copper plate of size 600×600×3.15mm, copper strip electrode of size 20×3mm as earthing lead.

S&F in repair air termination single pointed aluminum rod 12mm dia 300mm long fixed on PCC Block and connected to aluminum strip with nuts/ bolts and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair earth continuity conductor fixed to wall or batten or recess or cheses or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation as required of size 25 x 3 mm aluminium strip on necessary Proceline/ Backlite insulators for every 1 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 05 above but copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm. Note: Copper strip to be connected by copper brazing, rate is deemed to be include braising work

M&L in repair for porcelain/ Bakelite insulator for supporting the aluminum/copper strip of any size, fixed to wall/ floor with two screws and fixing copper / aluminum strip with one washer and nuts complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Removing of old rusted nuts, bolts, washers, replacing with new GI nuts, bolts, 2 Nos washers for GI/Aluminium strip of size not more than 32 x 6 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repair for earth plate marking made up of angle iron 25x25x3 of length not less than 1.0 mtr, (0.5 mtr above GL) fixed with MS plate of 2 mm thick, 300 x 150 mm made to shape as directed by welding, with one coat of red oxide paint and two coats of anti corrisive paint of specified colour and writen "Earth Pit Nos ___, ER Value :____" and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze or copper of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for excavation of exisiting earth pit upto 1 mt depth & pouring salt 25 Kg & magnisium sulphate 25 Kg including retruning filling, and levelling surplus soil complete all as specified and as directed.

S&L in repairs galvanized iron steel water tubing 15 mm bore, medium grade, laid in trenches, including all fittings and fixtures and making good distrubed area complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs PTMT short body 15 mm dia bib cocks screwed to GI pipe at earth pit chambers including provision of necessary way to enter tap into chamber or hole for water flow through chamber complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 32 mm dia medium grade PVC pipe ISI marked, as insulation pipe for copper/ GI / Aluminium strip buried in trench not more than 25 cm depth and 20 cm width or fixed on wall or floor with clamps and screws complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Earth working excavation, refilling, levelling, etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for Brazing of copper strip of size 25x3 mm by overlapping strips not less than 25mm width and brazing all the 4 sides at joints of strip through copper rod of proper size and combination of oxygen acetylene gas cylinder. Joint must be able to withstand high tensile strength and properly done without any defect or without any crack all as specified and directed. Note: If any crack found in the brazing contractor will do brazing again at free of cost.

Excavation of earth pit n.exc 300 mm depth and n.exc 300mm radius around the earth electrode including removing of earth pit chamber and supply and pour the Earthing Gel (earth recharger), as earth resistance lowering Gel, 6 kg in buckets after mixing the gel with water as per Gel manufactuer instructions, pouring the gel slowly with in a perioed of 2 hours near earth electrode and all as per instructions issued by manufacturer to obtain the earth resistance less than 2 ohm or as specified by manufacturer including recording the earth resistance of the earth pit before and after 4 hours of pouring the Gel, refilling and making good the earth pit chamber as previous including all necessary civil works required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The quoted rate is for lowering earth resistance of one earth pit.
