Excavation in trenches for foundation of structure and technical specification in soil/soil mixed with boulders (SMB), including dressing bottom and sides getting out and stacking of serviceable material and disposing all surplus excavated material be disposed off at a place directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hard core comprising of broken road metal size 5 cm graded downwards spread in layers not exceeding 15 cm including watering, ramming and finishing to required level and gradient including cost of stone metal and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing, laying and compaction with needle vibrator of Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 sand : 8 stone aggregate of size 4 cm graded downwards) in foundation or elsewhere (excluding the cost of centering/shuttering) as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing of Warning/Mandatory road signs made of MS plates of triangular shape 90 cms side tightly bolted or welded to suitable post of Mild Steel angle irons (50 x 50 x 5 mm) two numbers braced by MS plate 1 mm thick 30 cms wide embedded in PCC 1:4:8, including painting. The height of bottom of the board to be 1.5 m from the crown of pavement all as per drawing / IRC 67 of 1977 at a place directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and fixing Informatory road sign post of normal size 80 x 60 cms tightly bolted/ welded to suitable parts of angle Iron (50 x 50 x 5 mm) two numbers braced with MS plate 10 mm width diagonally embedded in PCC 1:4:8 including painting. The height of the board to be 1.5 m from the crown of pavement All as per drawing / IRC 67 of 1977 at a place directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5 mm spaced 2 mtr centre- to- centre, 1.80 mtr high, 1.10 mtr below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 of MoRT&H specifications and as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Road marking with thermo plastic paint (2.5 mm thick) confirming to MOST 803.4 including preparation of surface and application and as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Supply and installation of delineators (600 mm)(road way indicators, hazard markers, object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with 80x100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC:79 and the drawings, all complete as per clause 805 of MoRT&H specifications and as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
SURFACING WORKS BETWEEN KM 18.00 to 22.980 G-K-J ROAD(ALTITUDE 3601 TO 3900 MTR)
Preparation of subgrade in SMB by excavating earth up to 20 Cm average depth, dressing to required camber or super elevation removal of local humps or depression and consolidating with power roller including disposal of surplus earth with in a lead of 30 Mtr and rolled to the required specification all as specified at particular specification, MoRT&H data book and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Preparation of subgrade in HR by excavating up to 20 cm average depth, filling with small stone metal out of excavated material, dressing to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller incl disposal of surplus material within a lead of 30 mtr and rolled to the required specification all as specified at particular specification, MoRT&H data book and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
GSB 150 mm thick (compacted) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per Tables-400-1 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works including supply of material, watering and compaction all complete as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engr-In-Charge.
WBM 75 mm consolidated thickness of stone metal size 63 mm to 45 mm, grading No 1, as per Table-400-9 with type 'A' screening as per Table 400-10 and satisfying the physical requirement as per Table-400-8 of MORT&H specifications, spread, rolled, hollow made up to form true surface blinded and compacted to gradient and camber required all as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
WBM 100 mm consolidated thickness of aggregate 45 mm, grading No.1 as per Table-400-9 and satisfying the physical requirement as per Table-400-8 of MORT&H specifications, spread, rolled, hollow s made up to form true surface , blind and compacted to gradient and camber required all as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and laying 50 mm thick compacted BM layer and precoated stone aggregate physical requirements/ grading per Table: 500-6 & 7 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works mixed with min 3.4% by weight of total mix as binder asphalt VG-10 penetration grade as per MoRT&H data book and rolled to the required specification at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer @ 7.50 Kg per 10 sqm. (using BPD with manual labour) as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm on prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom, all complete as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specifications and as specified at particular specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
