MONITORING OF GROUND BED: Checking and recording of ground bed circuit resistance by 3 PIN Method and submission of reports as per scope of work
MONITORING OF EARTHING SYSTEM: Checking & recording of Earthing System circuit resistance by 3 PIN - method and submission of reports
GEB LIAISONING: Restoration of AC power supply at the CP station due to failure of power from GEB end and by follow up with GEB authorities whatsoever so as to ensure continuous power at CP station as & when required
Carrying out following survey of underground/over ground oil/gas/effluent pipelines. Connection of synchronized Current interrupters adjustment of drainage point potential to(-)1100 mv w.r.t copper-copper sulphate half-cell and logging of following parameters at all specified locations I I)-Logging of ON potential ii)- Logging of instant OFF potential Switching OFF all the C.P Stations effecting that section of the pipeline for a minimum of 72 hours and logging of the following parameters at all specified locations. I) logging of natural potential
Transportation & erection of CP Rectifier Unit single phase, 50 Hz, 50 Volts x 50 Amps DC out put. The job also includes supplying and making of foundation base of size 1500 mm x 1500 mm x 400 mm & plinth of size 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 300 mm with C.C. ratio 1:2:4 ( size of metal to be used shall be between V” to 1”, Use of gravel shall not be permitted ) 4” dia Cement/PVC pipe is to be provided in the base of foundation at the level of cable trench as a recess for taking cable either side, including fixing of CP Rectifier Unit with suitable foundation bolts of required size and length as directed by EIC. Complete plinth is to be finished smooth with cement plaster 1:3 of 20 mm thickness and suitable recess should be provided in the foundation & plinth for running the cable as per drawing no. 3522 - 1207 and as directed by EIC at no extra cost.
Supply, fabrication, erection, installation of water, dust and vermin proof cathode cable junction box of size 450 x 300 x 200 mm with front & back door of 14 S.W.G. MS sheet. Hylem sheet of size 350 x 200 x 5 mm to be fixed vertically inside the box to facilitate making adequate connection arrangement for feeding, drainage & half cell cables. The cathode cable junction box is to be mounted on angle iron stand of size 35 mm x 35 mm x 5 mm & 1.5 mtr height grouted on the floor with CC ratio 1:2:4 of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 300 mm near CP Rectifier Unit as per drawing No. CMD/CP/534 & as directed by EIC.
Supply & laying of service connection at a depth of 0.95 mtrs. and above ground on electrical pole/wall/floor through heavy duty PVC/GI pipe with PVC insulated and PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured copper conductor cable of size 2 core 6 mm2, 1.1 kV grade conforming to IS 1554 (Part - I) 1976 & as per IS 5831 - 1970 of approved quality/make, including provision of lugs at the ends and making connections for electric supply from energy meter box to switch box to CP Rectifier Unit as directed by EIC.
Supplying & laying of underground cable at a depth of 0.95 mtr. and as per IER. The cable should be PVC insulated, PVC sheathed ( Heavy duty) cable of size single core 25 mm2 unarmoured stranded copper conductor of 1.1 kV confirming to IS 1554 ( Part-I) 1976 & IS 5831-1970 of approved quality / make. The job also includes the provision of lugs at the ends and proper marking of various cables at both ends and making connection for : a) Anode cable connection from anode bed to ‘T’ points to CP Rectifier Unit b) Cathode cable connection to pipe line through cathode junction box from CP Rectifier Unit The cable should be supplied on wooden drum, packed as per IS standard. The cable brought at site in coils etc. is liable to be rejected.

The cable brought at site in coils etc. is liable to be rejected.
Supply and laying of underground cable at a depth of 0.95 mtrs. and as per IER. The cable should be PVC insulated and PVC sheathed ( heavy duty) single core of size 6 sq.mm, unarmoured stranded copper conductor of 1.1 kV grade conforming to IS 1554 ( Part-I) 1976 & IS 5831-1970 of approved quality/make. The job includes provision of lugs at the ends and proper marking of various cables at both ends and making connection for: a) Copper - Copper sulphate half-cell(installed at pipeline) to Cathode Junction Box (JB) to CPR unit. b) Pipe to soil potential measurement cable connection from cathode JB to CPR Unit c) Pipe to terminal box for existing T.L.P. The cable should be supplied on wooden drum, as per 24IS Standard. The cable brought at site in coil etc. is liable to be rejected.
Supply and erection of water proof cable to pipe/Cable to cable joints suitable for 25 sq.mm / 16 sq.mm / 6 sq. mm single core unarmoured stranded PVC insulated PVC sheathed copper cable including phenolic sleeves, copper lugs, as per drawing No. CMD/477 including necessary digging, backfilling and sealing of the joints with araldite / epoxy of approved quality make as directed by EIC.
Supply & erection of permanent type copper-copper sulphate half cell (reference electrode). The job includes identification in case of existing half-cell, necessary excavation and back filling as per drawing No. CMD/564 and as directed by EIC (3 Kgs of copper sulphate is to be used.)
Supply and making of pipe type earthing as per IS 732 - 1963 including bringing out 2 Nos. of 8 SWG GI wire to earth CP Rectifier Unit, Switch Box, energy meter, etc. complete with necessary connection as per drg. No. CMD/478 and as directed by EIC.
Drilling of bore hole for deep well anode bed of suitable dia for installation of 10” dia, 57 mtr deep M.S. casing pipe including all labour & material as per specifications. Supply & lowering of the 10” dia , 57 mtrs. deep MS casing pipe in the bore hole of deep well anode bed including shrouding of MS casing top with 12” dia PVC pipe upto upper end of topmost anode. Resistance logging of bore hole including supply of material & labour as per specifications and as directed by EIC. Installation & commissioning of 57 mtrs. deep well anode bed including supply & testing of all material, lowering of anodes with lead cable, holiday detection of anode lead cables, supply & lowering of vent pipes, backfilling of coke breeze in slurry form, preparation of pit above deep well, crimping of anode lead cable, including all labour and materials as per specifications, drawing No. CMD/534 and as directed by EIC. Supply and installation of water, dust & vermin proof anode junction box for termination of all anode lead cables manufactured with 3 mm rolled steel sheet suitable for outdoor installation, lockable allen key bolting shutter, complete with anti-loosening type of identified terminals with 3 spare terminals, individual current measuring shunts and individual current controlling variable resistor of appropriate
Supply & installation of sacrificial high purity cylindrical type zinc anode of size 2” dia x 3 feet length (nominal weight 13 Kgs) terminated with 6 sq.mm PVC insulated PVC sheathed unarmoured stranded copper conductor tail cable of 5 mtrs. length backfilled with 30 Kgs. of special back fill of composition of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulphate packed in cloth sack installed in manually augured 8” dia bore hole. Supply and laying of PVC sleeves for tail cable, epoxy encapsulation of the tail joint with anode, preparation of anode bed, back filling, supply and installation of identification markers complete as per scope, specification,
Supply, fabrication & Installation at site of CP measurement points with terminal box, single core 6 sq.mm PVC insulated PVC sheathed unarmoured stranded copper cable of required length as per drawing No. CMD/388. The job includes identification of pipeline, making cable to pipe joint & connecting other ends of the cable to terminal box with necessary brass studs, fixing the CP measurement point in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) painting with one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel colour of approved quality and shade. Underground portion of the CP measurement point should be cleaned and painted with single coat of primer & flood coated with coal tar enamel before grouting in cement concrete. Numbering of points / chainage should be done as directed by EIC.
Repairing of CP Measurement point including necessary excavation up to pipe joint end, if required. Supply & fabrication of M.S. cap, supply of hylem sheet, and repairing of hylem sheet support, brass nut & bolts, M.S. nuts & bolts, Allen bolts, 6 sq.mm single core unarmoured copper conductor cable for making pipe to cable joint and connecting other ends to terminal box with necessary brass studs. The CP Measurement point is to be scrapped, cleaned & painted with single coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint as directed by EIC. NOTE: Cost of pipe to cable joint not included in this item & shall be payable under item No.13
"Supply and installation of vandal proof test lead point (TLPs) at location or as per direction of site engineer including supply of proper size of lug, washer & brass nut bolt, Bakelite insulation plate, 2 inch dia GI pipe (B class, lSI marked) of 1.5 mtr length threaded at one end to fit the vandal proof TLP Box & other end with bend pipe connection with a piece of GI pipe taking out from foundation for cable entries. Necessary 6 Sq.mm multi strand PVC insulated flexible single core copper conductor cable for lead wires and all other materials required for erecting the test lead point over concrete foundation (TLP grouting)with cement concrete mixture 1:2:4 (Cement: Sand: Grit of 20mm nominal size), making cable connection to the pipe with necessary excavation, removing I"" x 1"" size of existing coating material on pipe surface, cleaning with wire brush and making the surface free of dust, surface preparation by acid wiping, soldering 1"" length of Cui Al strands on exposed pipe surface, filling the exposed pipe and cable portion with liquid araldite (mixed with hardener), & terminating the cable on Bakelite insulating bolt with copper lugs, brass nuts /bolts, washer lugs inside the test lead box enrooting the cable through inside of the TLP box pipe , including removal of coat & wrap of dimension 75mm X 75mm , repairing the damaged to coat & wrap etc. and painting with one coat of Red Oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of approved brand of synthetic enamel paint on the test lead box and GI pipe, complete in every respect as per drawing, specifications and instructions of Site Engineer inclusive of the cost of all labour, materials etc. "
"Replacing the existing damaged TLP box in mainline with the new vandal Proof TLP box, including cutting of old TLP box, welding of the new vandal Proof TLP box on the existing G.I. pipe (4"" or 2""), with making the connections on side cover plate of TLP box for measurement. and supply of proper size of lug washer & brass nut bolt, Bakelite insulation plate etc, as per the attached drawing.
Supply & painting of CP measurement point, application of one coat of red oxide primer and one coat of zebra colour (black & yellow strips) of approved quality ISI mark to give even shade after proper cleaning & scraping of existing paint and ensuring that the surface is free from foreign material and as directed by EIC.

Notes
1. The bidders have to quote for the complete scope of work for all the items as mentioned in Table-A above.
2. The bids shall be evaluated based on the ‘Total Bid Evaluation Value (E)’ quoted by the bidder as mentioned under Table (A) above.
3. Bidders have to quote all-inclusive rates in the Table (A).
5. The rates quoted by the bidder should also include all other associated charges for the completion of services. ONGC will not make any payment other than the items indicated in the price format. The rates will remain firm for entire contract duration.
6. The schedule of prices should be read with all other sections of the tender document.
7. The bidder shall be deemed to have studied the specifications and details of works to be executed within the time schedule and also get acquainted of the site conditions.
8. Quantities indicated above are tentative, it shall be used for evaluation of tender only and may vary during contract period. Further, ONGC does not guarantee execution of minimum quantity for any of the items mentioned in the price format. Payment shall be made on the basis of actual execution of quantity.
9. ONGC is free to award work in any area of Mehsana Asset.
10. The rates of taxes as quoted by the bidder above shall be considered for the purpose of clause on “CHANGE IN LAW
