M&L for Supply, Erection & Commissioning of down flow vertical single deck and Multi Grade pressure filter plant having capacity 10000 Glns per hour conforming to design code IS 2825(with latest amendment) and CPHEEO standard, consisting of one vertical cylinder mild steel fabricated pressure vessel of suitable size as per IS-2062, including face piping,fitting,valves,filter media under bed plate fitted with PVC strainer,pressure gauge, sample stop cocks, manhole, handhole, air vent system, back washing facility, suitable air compressor with piping work complete including necessary foundation minimum 300m height from ground level as recommended by OEM and connected accessories complete with following specification:- (a) Flow rate :- 10000 GPH, (b) Vessel dia - not less than 1500mm dia (c) Working pressure-minimum 3.5kg/Sqcm (d) Test pressure-minimum 5.0kg/Sqcm (e) Sillica sand(course not less than 0.5mm) and gravel media for filter of required quantity and size(as per manufacturar's specification) (f) Frontal valves 100mm dia-05 Nos(minimum) (g) Frontal valves 100mm dia-05 Nos(Minimum) (h) Pressure gauges of glyserine type 100mm dia-02 Nos (i) Sampling cock-02 Nos (incoming and outgoing point) (k) Air compressor capacity as per manufacturer's specification. The shell thickness shall be of minimum 6mm and dished end having minimum 6mm with MS header and PVC lateral collecting system. Multi grade filter should have redoxide primer with two coats of approved colour synthetic enamel paint on outside and black bituminous paint from inside. The shell shall also be provided with adequate size of air vent line with valve etc. Note :- Size of piping, valve strainer, venturi valves and all connected fittings/fixture shall be as manufacturar's specification but not less than 100mm bore. Any other item not mentioned in above description but if required technically for optimum performance of water treatment plant shall be incorportaed by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Activated Carbon Filter, maximum flow 48 cum/hr (Model ACF 1600 of Ion exchange or equivalent of other specified makes) vertical cylindrical type, MS fabricated vessel of suitable size as per IS-2062, inclding pipe line minimum 100mm dia ,butterfly valve of suitable size incliding 2 Nos. pressure gauge, sampling cocks filled with activated carbon media with iodine value 1000. The shell thick ness shall be of 6mm and dished end having 8mm and bed plate under drain collecting system will be strainer on bed plate. Activated Carbon filter should have Epoxy paint from inside and outside red oxide primer with light blue paint.The shell shall also be provided with adequate size of air vent line with valve etc.Diameter of vessel- minimum 2200MM, Height on Straight (HOS) - minimum 1875MM. The complete set shall consists of (a) One set of internal water distribution and collection system (b) one initial charge of activated carbon and under bed material (c) one set of frontal pipe work and valves (d) two pressure gauges to monitor head loss across the filter (e) One no. bypass type rate of flow indicator at inlet (f) one orifice board for indication wash water flow to be fitted with drain sump Note : Test certificate for Iodine Value for Activated Carbon shall be submitted complete all as per IS.

Taking out old Iron Removal Plant and deposited to MES store yard & Supply, erection and commissioning of Facatory fabricated Iron removal plant consist of Iron Specific Resin used as Iron removal Media of capacty 45 cum/hr suitable for 7ppm feed iron (capable of reducing iron content to permissible limit i.e. 0.3ppm), vertical cylindrical type, MSEP fabricated vessel of suitable size as per IS- 2062, inclding pipe line minimum100mm dia, butterfly valve of suitable size inclding 2 Nos. pressure gauge, sampling cocks filled with iron Specific Resin (ISR) media including necessary foundation minimum 300mm height from ground level as recommended by OEM and connected accessories complete. The shell thickness shall be of 6mm and dished end having 8mm and bed plate under drain collecting system will be strainer on bed plate. Iron Removal filter should have Epoxy paint from inside and outside red oxide primer with two coats of approved color synthetic enamelled paint. The shell shall also be provided with adequate size of air vent line with valve etc. Diameter of vessel (DIA) of IRF - minimum 2200MM, Height on Straight (HOS) - minimum 1875MM. Note : Non - Toxic Test certificate from the manufacturer for Iron Specific resin ( ISR ) shall be submitted which can remove iron from 10 ppm to 0.3 PPM complete.

Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Chemical Dosing System for dosing at 4 kg/Sqcm pressure and 11 LPH flow with slow speed Agitor for Alum at raw water collection tank with electromagnetic metering run on dosing with all electrical connections with 200 ltrs PVC tank 1 No complete all as per specified and as directed.

Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Chemical Dosing System for dosing at 4 kg/Sqcm pressure and 11 LPH flow with slow speed Agitor for Soda ash at raw water collection tank with electromagnetic metering run on dosing with all electrical connections with 200 ltrs PVC tank 1 No complete all as per specified and as directed.

Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Chemical Dosing System for dosing at 4 kg/Sqcm pressure and 11 LPH flow with slow speed Agitor for Polymer used for removing suspended solids at raw water collection tank with electromagnetic metering run on dosing with all electrical connections with 200 ltrs PVC tank 1 No complete all as per specified and as directed.

Supply, Erection & Commissioning of Chemical Dosing System for dosing at 4 kg/Sqcm pressure and 11 LPH flow with agitator for calcium Hypo-Chlorite for Chlorination after Iron Removal Plant at raw water collection tank with electromagnetic metering pump run on dosing with all electrical connections with 200 ltrs PVC tank 02 Nos complete all as per specified and as directed. Note fot Item No 4 to 7 :-Electrical cable with plug shall be deemed to be include in quoted rate. Any other item not specifically mentioned but required for efficient functioning of plant shall be deemed to be included and no extra cost shall be claimed by the contractor on this account.

Converting existing Pressure Filter plant to Iron Removal Filter with supply of Indion- Iron specific resin and other filter media for 10000GPH flow rate and for existing vertical cylindrical type, MS fabricated vessel of given size as per IS 2062 Diameter of vessel-2500mm, Height on straight (HOS)-1500mm, Filter vessel shall be painted with Epoxy paint from inside and redoxide primer with two coats of approved color synthetic enamel paint on outside including necessary foundation minimum 300mm height from ground level and connected accessories complete. Any other item not specifically mentioned above required at site for satisfactory functioning of plant. shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate Note : Non-toxic Test certificate from the manufacturer for Iron specific resin(ISR) shall be submitted which can remove iron from 10 ppm to 0.3 ppm complete.

Supply of Polymer (INDION Polymer or equivalent of approved make) suitable for removing suspended particles of potable water for dosing system complete all as per specified and as directed.

Supply of calcium hypochlorite granules with minimum 65% to 70% available chlorine for chlorine dosing system complete all as per specified and as directed. Certificate of testing with maximum available chlorine from Govt recognised lab shall be submitted

Supply, installation & commissioning of Diesel Engine Driven (Primemover) coupled with Alternator with Manual control Panel: Compact, robust and rugged design, Low emission, high efficiency engines suitable for 50 KVA , 415 Volt, 3 Phase, 4 wire , coolant cooled , electronic governor, ISO 3046, BS 5514 rated for continuous running diesel engine suitable to develop suitable BHP complete with and including following accessories:- (i) Fuel filter (ii) Governor (iii) Complete battery set 12/24V with lead & lugs as recommended by manufacturer (iv) Lubricant oil cooler (v) Lubricant oil pump (vi) Lubricant oil filter (vii) Digital oil pressure guage (viii) Battery charging alternator of suitable capacity (ix) Dry type air filter (x) MS channel fabricated frame rigidly welded suitable for receiving the diesel engine and alternator and anti vibration pads (xi) Coupling guard (xii) Exhaust pipe fully extended to exhaust gases outside the generating room including silencer and necessary insulation lagging with minimum 12mm dia asbestos rope. (xiii) Fuel tank of sheet steel and of capacity 150 ltrs for 12 hours running on full load with inlet and outlet connection, filling cap, drain valve, air vent with calibrated scale on outer surface, floor mounted with suitable angle iron supports (xiv) Digital RPM meter with hour meter Contd.....

Item No 11.00 contd.... (d) Acqoustic enclosure: Supply & install of Acqoustic Enclosure suitable for 50 KVA DG Set as under:- (i) Fabricated out of CRCA sheet of suitable thickness as per manufacture design, Polyster based powder coated internally and externally with lockable type door handle. All nuts and handles shall be zinc coated (ii) The doors are gasketed with EPDM gaskets (iii) Sound proofing with high quality rock wool/mineral wool confirming to IS-8183 of 50mm tickness and density at 96 Kg/cubic metre covered wit fiber glass cloth and perforated powder coats sheet specially designed allenuators (sound controller) at air entry and exit of the container noise level shall not be exceed 75 dBA at 1 meter distance as per CPCB norms (iv) Adequate ventilation to meet air requirement for combustion and heat removal with provn of a blower (v) Emergency stop push button out side te container (vi) Provn of light inside the canopy providing LED Lamp/TL of 20 watt with wiring and control switch (vii) Sufficient space should be available around the Generator set for inspection and service. (e) Mounting Arrangment: Prime mover and alternator shall be mounted on skid mounting type base frame fabricated from ISMC channel or in sheet metal providing common bed for engine and alternator directly coupled together the base frame has provn for grouting on foundation bolt as well as fixing on vibration mounts provn is made in base frame for tilting arrangment of DG set as recommended by manufacturer the base frame shall have provn for mounting of acqoustic enclosure. The base frame to have provn of lifting hook for convenient lifting of complete set i.e. along the canopy engine and alternator Contd......

Item No 11.00 contd.... (f) Manual control Panel : The control Panel shall be made of 16 SWG CRCA sheet, floor mounted, indoor type, dust and vermin proof and powder coated and suitable for 415 volt, 3 phase, 50 HZ system. The panel shall consist of the following features : (i) Engine parameters display : Low lube oil pressure, High water temp, Baterry voltage, RPM, No. of Hours Run. (ii) Engine Fault Indication for : LLOP/HWT/Low fuel level/Over speed/ Emergency stop/Charging alternator/V-Belt failure/Service due. (iii) Push button for engine Start/Stop, Data scrolling button & Reset button. (iv) Alternator parameters display : Voltage, Ampere, Frequency. (v) Alternator protections : Over/Under Voltage, over current, over/under frequency. (vi) Suitable rated MCB. (vii) Current Transformers of suitable ratio. (viii) Earth Studs.

Supply and fixing Offload change over switch 415 volt AC, 50Hz in sheet enclosure, 4 pole of capacity 125 Amps, side handle including making electrical connections complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and avaraging 15cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Material & labour Hardcore of broken bricks gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface all as specified and directed.

Material & labour Cement concrete in PCC (1:4:8),Type D-2 using 40mm brick agg foundations, filling and mass-concrete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for providing for cement concrete Type B-1 ,1:2:4 ( 20mm garded aggregate ) in using of string courses,lacing courses, bed plates of all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and fixing pipes galvanized iron, "Medium Grade", with all fittings , laid in trenches/ floor/air/on piller of 100 mm (4") dia including all necessary fittings and specials such as bends, tees, unions, reducer, flanges & plug etc and including level supported by clamps, hangers etc complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) Connection the suction side of pump with the galvanised iron, 100mm bore suction pipe including providing fittings such as reducing taper, socket, elbow, etc complete in all respect and as per site requirement. Suply & fixing bricks well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks in trenches on cable as cable protection across the length of the cable (width wise) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, armoured LT electric power UG cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 70 sqmm 3.5 core laid through duct/pipe/in trench etc including cable glands & lugs complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up CI/GI Water mains(including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead 150 mm dia.
