REPAIR ,MAINT AND REPLACEMENT OF LT UG CABLES, LT OVERHEAD LINES AND CONNECTED ACCESSORIES IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STN BHUJ

Taking out unserviceable / serviceable LT cables from excavated trenches, ducts, wall, pole etc including removing cable covers, sand, cable joints, pipes, clamps etc, taking out old serviceable cables for reuse and removing unserviceable cables, covers etc, for the sizes of cables 16 -240Sqmm all as directed by Engr- in -charge. Note:- PCC cover in good condition will be deposited at safe place for reuse.

Relaying only LT 1100 KV 3.5 core 16-240 Sqmm cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable( LT ), all as specified and directed by EIC. Note:- All connected items like, Excavtion, Sand, PCC cover, Refilling, Removal of soil and LT joints will be measured under respective items.

Supply & Lay, connecting,testing and commissioning and jointing,LT under ground cable 1100 volts grade,XLPE insulated,armoured with galvanized round steel wire or steel strip, electric power cables heavy duty, with multi stranded aluminum conductor, laid in trenches,ducts,fixed on poles/walls with proper size saddles and clamp laid under roads /path /drain /culverts or encased in GI pipe fixed & testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of following Sizes:- Note:- (i) Cable connection at both end to be done by contractor, for this shut down and restoration of power supply to be done bycontrator. (ii) Sand cushioning, Cable protection cover, GI pipes, excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Schedule "A" .

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil ,For laying of pipe/cable/finding out LT cable faults complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in soil and including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete ,For laying of pipe/cable/finding out LT cable faults all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting points complete all specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning for UG cables using dry river sand; gently punning down all as directed and specified. ( Note : For measurement purpose punned thickness shall be considered)

M & L unreinforced precast concrete cable covers CLASS LV type II, flat size 300 x 180 x 40 mm laid transverse to cable.

Labour only for laying of old recovered unreinforced precast concrete cable covers CLASS LV type II, flat size 300 x 180 x 40 mm laid transverse to cable.

M&L for straight through joint (Heat Shrinkable) for LT 1100 Volts grade, aluminum conductor including jointing kits, aluminium ferrules and labour complete for making joints and testing for : -

(i) Cable size 240 to 300 Sqmm 4 core

(ii)Cable size 70 to 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core

(iii)Cable size upto 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core

M&L for heat shrinkable indoor/ outdoor LT end terminations for LT 1100 Volts grade, aluminum conductor including jointing kits, aluminium ferrules and labour complete for making joints and testing (Make :- M seal/3M /Denson) complete for : -

(i) Cable size 240 to 300 Sqmm 4 core

S&F GI tubing light grade for encasing cables for mechanical protection, laid under plinth/floors/ roads/ path /culverts or fixed on walls/on poles by means of MS FI clamps with necessary bolts, nuts and washers all as specified of sizes : -

M&L for complete cleaning of the internal & external parts of LT panel; checking & testing of all the components of the panel for cable insulation, lugs, connections and the like; replacement of & including provision of minor parts like lugs, insulation tape, nuts bolts, connectors and the like as directed by Engineer-in-Charge; replacement and / or welding of existing damaged hinges of the panel; preparation of old painted surfaces (internal & external) of the panel, complete removal of existing paint using emry paper grade 220, by sanding and scrubbing, application of corrosion resistant primer by sprayers, applying hammer finish metal paint using sprayers in two coats and till shining surfaces are obtained; application of two coats of epoxy black paint on panel frames; complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Approximate average size of panel=1.50x0.75x0.45m) (Note - Rates included for provision of sufficient technicians for getting electric shut down and to attend the shutdown on site till completion. Replacement of major items like MCCBs etc. shall be measured & Paid for separately).

M&L for Zebra painting white & sky blue strips 30 cm height in alternate colour strip upto 1.5 meter from top edge of coping of electric poles with synthetic enameled paint two coats and numbering to poles with 80mm size letter with black synthetic enameled paint all as directed

Supply & Fix FRP juction box of size outside dimensions 350 x 270 x 200 mm with terminals , IP-65/66 protection, 01 Nos MCB SPN C series of capacity 06 Amps as approved by the EIC including connector and fixing on pole with and including MS clamps made out of 25 x 3mm MS flat iron, nut, bolts etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge Note:- The cost of junction box installation includes making hole of suitable size for entry and exit of cable upto 35X3.5 Core size, making new lugs of cables of entry and exit.

S&F in replacement of pin type, (LT) porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut,100mm height, 65mm dia for 1100 volts grade all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement shackle type procelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps, washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts of 75mm height, 90mm max dia for 1100 volts grade all as directed by EIC

M& L for finding out LT fault in LT O/H distribution system / LT panel/Feeder panel/junction box/TPN BD/OH conductor/MCCB & any type of no power supply complaints with deploying trained electrician and helper seggregate/ isolate the feeder carry out maintenance work such as repair of jumper,insulators ,conneted items and then after charge the feeder with load in presence of Engr-in-charge. Note- Arrangement of tools and labour is the responsibility of contractor.Fault must be rectified within 03 hrs after receiving complaint. If contractor failed to attend/rectify complaint within stipulated perion of time a penalty of Rs 600/- per complaint can be charged

S&F in replacement Fabricating Outdoor LT Feeder distribution panel (CPRI Approved) LT electrical distribution panel board floor mounted cubicle type suitable for one incoming MCCB and four outgoing MCCBs, one multifunction LED Meter dust proof weather proof vermin proof asthetically designed having at least IP-54 degree of ingress protection fabricated from 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet with front and rear opening including 4 strip of copper bus bar 600 amp capacity insulated colour sleeves precilin/ cable alloy with provn of epoxy insulator rail channel connector, danger notice board made out of 14 gauge CRCA Sheet over angle iron frame of size 40x40x6 mm, 30 cm grouted in groung floor and 45 cm above GL including connection with suitable copper cable FRLSH PVC single core . Suitable glands to be provided for incoming and outgoing cables

(i) MCCB 400 Amps 36 KA, 4 pole with adjustable thermal & magnetic setting -01 No (incoming)

M&L for maintenance of ACB 440 Volts,1000/630 Amps including removal of ACB trolley, cleaning of all copper male and female contact, tightening of all connections, checking of all auxiliary contacts, control wiring, etc. refixing the ACB trolley to its original position including proper setting of manual/motorize operation of ACB, checking/setting of tripping system, etc complete. Note:- (i) Maintenance to be carried out by the reps of companies OEM of companies like C & S, L&T or equivalent (ii) After completion test certificate shall be furnished from OEM (iii) Replacement of spare of ACB items to be done in respective items.

S & F in replacement of ACB spring Charging motor 250 Volts AC/DC (as per site requirment) suitable for AH 10 D 1000/630 Amps with gear assembly all as directed by EIC.

S & F in replacement of CT of Suitable Ratio for ACBs 1000/ 630 Amps capacity all as specified and as directed by EIC.

Supply and fixing in replacement of tripping coil, ISI marked suitable for 440V ACB Panel, complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Cradle contact ,1000 Amp ISI marked suitable for 440V ACB Panel, complete all as directed

S & F digital/ analog Amp meter with CT suitable for LT Panel 0-400 Amps complete all as directed.

S & F Digital Volt meter suitable for LT Panel 0-440 Volts all as directed by EIC. Make : AE or equivalent

Supply & fix LED Lamps for LT Panel RED,YELLOW & GREEN complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and laying or fixing or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 4 sq. mm 2 core nominal cross section solid conductor in service connections

Stretching of existing aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size mounting on over head line, properly on insulator with required span and sag including binding with aluminium conductor of 2 mm dia as binding wire all as specified and directed. (Span=5 conductors of 40m length each)

Boring holdes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150mm dia suitiable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting, trimming and vending tree branches along HT over head lines, after arranging electrical shutdown , including taking all precautions while working on lines using own T&P by the contractor. Note :- (i) Branches of trees shall be cut upto 3 metre from the outer conductor of OH line. (ii) Cutting/trimming of branches shall be done after obtaining necessary shut down in writing by the Engineer-in-Charge to avoid any casualty.

Material & labour for Cleaning the Sub Stations (the entire sub station to be kept clean by brroming unwanted materials, pulling the unwanted vegetation inside the sub station , bottom of poles, stay assy, cleaning of VCB/ ACB/ LT panels on site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Job shall include thorough cleaning of 40 Substations. Cleaning shall be done once in a Quarter for all 40 Substations. Note : Contractor's supervisor with sufficient labours and an electrician alongwith tools and plants will report to JE in the morning for taking over site of cleaning as and when directed by Engr-in-charge. The cleaning shall be done upto the satisfaction of Engr-in-charge.

M& L for finding out LT fault in under ground LT cable with deploying trained electrician and helper seggregate/ isolate the feeder carry out maintenance work such as Excavation of 0.45x0.75 mtr upto 04 RM of length,If further excavation is reqd will be measured in respective item of excavation and Refilling,PCC cover and Sand will be reused ,conneted items Like lugs,insulation tape etc and then after charge the feeder with load in presence of Engr-in-charge.Note- Joint will be measured in respective item.Arrangement of tools and labour is the responsibility of contractor.Fault must be rectified within 04 hrs after receiving complaint. If contractor failed to attend/rectify complaint within stipulated perion of time a penalty of Rs 600/- per complaint can be charged
