Manual operation of electrically operated lifts of any capacity, any type and make at SVN Colony to serve any number of floors by providing separate lift operator (semi skilled) in each shift of 8 hours duration per each lift, on all the days in two shifts a day including Sunday & Holidays, including taking care of from any pilferage, theft or damage etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Man Power: One lift operator (Semi skilled) per shift of 08 Hrs per lift. No. of lifts: 08 Nos. "Q" to "X" Blocks No of Shifts: 2 and shift timings are as under:- Ist shift - 0630 Hrs to 1430 Hrs IInd shift - 1430 Hrs to 2230 Hrs

Wages for labour ( Basic + Dearness and other allowncess if any as per Latest labour Wages as notified by central / state Govt/Local body, which ever is higher)

Contribution towards Employees provident fund liability ( EPF ) (Employer's contribution as per Government latest rules)

Contribution towards Employees state insurance corporation ( ESIC ) (Employer's contribution as per Government latest rules)

Contribution towards Bonus

Overhead and profit

LWC (Labour welfare cess)

Note:- The rates to be quoted for complete items / subitems above inclusive of all taxes, cess, levies etc., as applicable including GST.

Notes : (a) In case of non function of passenger lifts, the goods lift installed in the same building to be operated as directed. (b)The unit rate is deemed to include for maintaining log books, record of repair/ replacement of perished/ unserviceable, minor adjustments, minor repairs of all accessorises, cleaning /up keeping of lift & surrounding area. (c) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in a tool box with operator for smooth functioning of installations. (d) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requisite qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recommended by Engineer-in- charge. (d) Lifts of any block can be operated during currency of contract out of 'Q' to 'X' blocks and only 08 Nos of lifts shall be operated at a time as directed by Engr-in-charge / GE.

(e) General cleanliness of lift room/ machine room will be responsibility of the contractor repair/maintenance of internal lighting of lift room etc. Necessary de-watering as and when required through a pump and piping accessories from the lift chamber is also the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor has to make sufficient arrangements under his own before commencement of the contract.

Note 1 Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.

Note 2 1. Contractor shall quote wages, employers contribution towards EPF liability, contribution towards ESIC, contribution towards bonus, LWC and overhead & profit separately as applicable as per instruction in vogue in respective sub items. 2. The rate quoted for items of outsourcing / Manning shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/concerned state Government/Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective heading / sub-items. In case any quoted rate against the above items / subitems mentioned above which correspond works out to lower than the prevailing minimum rate of wages / subscription / contribution towards EPF / ESIC/ Bonus / LWC the bid will be treated as non bonafide / invalid, shall be disqualified......

...... and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid / bonafide bids only and no claim on this account is entertained. The prevailing rate / wages / contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date. 3. (a) The contractor shall submit the ID Proof, Bank Account No, EPF account number and ESIC account number of Operator / Person Employed. (b) The payment shall not be less than minimum labour wages and payment of labour / employee shall be made through Online Banking like NEFT/ RTGS etc,.

(c) The quoted rate in sub items of wages, EPF, ESIC and Bonus will be released only after producing authenticated Documentary proof of payment as per prevailing rates deposited in the concerned employees account duly signed by contractor and shall be submitted along with RAR / final Bill for payments. 4. Quotations with 'Nil' or "Zero" consideration (overhead and profit) will be considered non bonafide. 5. Any variation in minimum wages, liability of EPF / ESIC / Bonus / LWC / GST shall be adjusted for reimbursement/ Recovery as under:- (i) Variation in minimum wages including other related statutory provisions shall be adjusted in tems of condition 63 of GCC (IAFW-2249). (ii) Variation in percentage/ rate of GST and LWC shall be adjusted as per special conditions here in after which deals with "Reimbursement / Refund on Variation in Taxes Directly Related to Contract Value.

(iii) Rates shall be quoted only upto two digits after decimal. If any rate quoted/ derived by the contractor works out to more than two digits after decimal, then the same shall be rounded off upto two digits after decimal. The rounding off shall be done in accordance with rules for rounding off of Numerical Values in accordance with IS: 02 pf 1960 (Revised 2016) of BIS. 6. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work. If the contractor fails to submit the same within this stipulated period the contract shall be liable to be cancelled and the performance Security of the firm shall be forfeited accordingly.

7. (a) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Tools & plants shall be provided by contractor. (c) Temporary laying of LTUG cable of any size and any lenth for restoration of supply during break down / other requirement deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (d) Complaint register and Complaint slip books as per site requirement shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) All workers employed by the contractor shall be in proper uniform with name plate and other safety wearing items , shoes during the duty as per the electricity rules, which deemed to included in quoted rate.

(f) Departmental equipments of each installation,shall be under safe custody . In case of theft of any item from installation recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. (g) Group insurance for the operators shall be made by the contractor. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (h) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for leave/reserve of staff.

Supply & laying in trenches or fixing on wall or passing through pipe or in cable ducts XLPE insulated PVC FRLS, screened , PVC bedded and PVC tape sheathed galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 25 Sq mm including taking out old un-serviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation, trenches for laying cables/ pipe line etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated materials to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.50m above the starting point.

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks of old size (23x11x7cm) laid along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and spreading clean dry sand for cable cushioning in trenches complete all as specified and as directed (Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured)
