Providing services for smooth functioning of 33/ 11 KV MRS at Pithoragarh Cantt having 10 MVA capacity 33/11 KV transformer comprising of 33 KV steel structures with bus bars, insulators, AB switches, transformer 5000 KVA - 02 Nos. of 33/11, 63 KVA(33/0.433) - 01 No battery bank & battery charger, 33 KV HT panel boards, 11 KV VCB breakers, 33 KV outdoor structure, PT's metering system bus couplers, HT/LT cables, control cables, LT panel boards for substation lighting & lighting, earthing pits of all the equipments (including regular watering) & plants, carrying out regular testing (Routine test / type test of transformer, earth test of all substations HT/LT equipments) of the equipments and maintaining of the earth testing register / insulation testing register / Oil testing registers, shut down register / visual check register etc, Log sheet with Duty Roaster / attendance register records of the electric supply with all parameters as described at the substation and daily maintenance of the complete surrounding area of the MRS. As when Supply fails/ restore from UPCL or breakdown is informed to the MRS in charge within 05 Minutes of breakdown, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. NOTE :-(i) The job shall be maintained by deploying 03 Nos. Skilled Electricians and 03 Nos. Mate Electricians in three shifts (including Sunday and holiday) as given below :- (a) First shift 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs (b) Second shift 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs (c) Third shift 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (ii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to inclusive of leave/ reserve / off of the tradesmen employed as per labour laws. (iii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to inclusive of normal maintenance i.e oiling, greasing, tightening of conductors, tightening of HT/LT cable joints of all equipments installed at receiving centre, restoration of jumpers, HT fuses by means of using existing resources during short circuits due to wind / rains without any extra cost of material to the department within premises of MRS and to restore the supply for incoming and outgoing feeders. (iv) Maintaining of log sheet of 33 KV VCBs and 11 KV VCBs (Log sheet shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost shall be done by the electrician employed. (v) Keeping record of maintenance, checking earth resistance of all equipments and regular watering of earth pits shall be done by the electrician employed. (vi) Keeping record of shut down / break downs shall be responsibility of tradesmen deployed at MRS shall be done by the electrician employed. (vii) Reliver duty Electrician & Mate Electrician wages deemed to be included in quoted rates. (viii) All T&P for testing at MRS to be provided by the contractor and no extra cost to be paid to the contractor for T&P. (ix) Electrician employed should be holding ITI certificate with minimum 4 years experience (x) The contractor shall be responsible for safety, security, cleaning and upkeep of installation as per MES standards for installation. (xi) The contractor shall provide first aid box / kit and all safety equipments like discharge rod, safety belt, hand gloves, helmet, glasses, rain coat, gum boot etc in the installations and rates are deemed to be included in quoted rates.(xii) Electrician / mate electrician on duty should be in proper dress as approved by the GE.

Outsourcing for manning & operation for smooth functioning of HT/LT Electric distribution system for proper distribution of electric supply at the different locations at Cantt area to carrying out regular checks and services to the HT/LT feeders, HT/LT overhead lines and rectification any fault occurred in the feeder like disconnection of jumpers, breaking of ACSR conductor, GI wire, disconnection of cable lugs from the panel / transformer, blown out of fuse element, fallen of tree branches, tripping of feeders and loose connection in the service wire / cable, short circuiting of conductors, fixing of HT joints any type and attending of complaints for no lights from poles and other type of faults in HT/LT feeders all transformer, ACB, LT panel except MRS, up keep of 11 KV Sub Station and ensure serviceability of all the equipments, watering in earth pits of transformer, including undertaking routine maintenance / checks, replacement of fuses on two / four pole structure, maintenance of 11/.433 KV transformers, maintenance of surrounding area of the sub stations, checking of electrical control panel and through cleaning of equipment / machinery on all the days including Sundays and holidays in two shift of schedule as given below complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge:- (i) First shift 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs by deploying 01 skilled electrician + 02 Nos Mate Electrician (ii) Second shift 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs by deploying 02 Nos. Mate Electrician. NOTE:- (a) The cost of minor part such as nut & bolts, washers, rubber gasket etc is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (b) Reliver duty Mate Electrician wages deemed to be included in quoted rates. (c) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. Note for item no. 1 & 2 :- (i) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Tools & plants shall be provided by contractor. (iii) Temporary laying only of LT underground cable of any size and any length for restoration of electric supply during break down / other requirement deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (iv) Complaint register and Complaints slip books as per site requirement shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (v) Departmental equipments of each installation shall be under safe custody of the contractor. (vi) Group insurance & EPF for the electrician & Mate electrician shall be made by the contractor at his own cost and documentary proof shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge. (vii) All T&P as required, shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (viii) Proper handing / taking over of inventories of all installations shall be kept in record.

Supply only pin type porcelain , vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height and 150 mm dia suitable for working pressure 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Lopping / pruning of tree branches uo to the extend to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor up to 3.00 m from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The tree's branch etc will be left as it is and will not be carried away by the contractor / DEL as the wood belongs to CEO / DEO and they will be responsible to lift the wood. (ii) Pruning of all tree branches in one tree shall be measured as one job. (iii) The contractor will employ sufficient labour (Not from item no. 01 & 02) to complete the job with in time as directed. (iv) The contractor will be responsible for any type of mis-happening / accident while pruning the trees. (v) The contractor will take proper shut down from MES installation before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply. However full assistance will be provided by MES staff for shut down / resuming supply. (vi) The contractor will provide proper tools and safety devices to his staff for pruning of trees
