Formation of Water User Association for the Project Varangaon Talvel Lift Irrigation Scheme, Tal. Bhusawal Dist. Jalgaon as per Maharashtra Management of Irrigation system by Farmers Act 2005

I.no.01:- Public awareness by taking village wise meetings and awake public for WUA purpose, Government aim, need of association, working area of WUA.

I.no.02:-Making up to date map containing working area & command area of WUA along with following contents. Project name, taluka, District, River sub basin, Properties of WUA, boundary line of working area. (e.g.village,boundry, other WUA etc.) Officially collected latest list of land record containing survey no,sub part & area in Hq from Revenue department. Data of all present construction on all natural aligned stream with there name. Make first ward, middle ward & last ward of WUA. Data of all artesian well, provisionally used for irrigation and non-irrigation purpose. Collection of data of all water storage construction like KT weir, weir, percolation tank, lake, CNB, underground bunds, gavtale etc. Collection data of actual & proposed LIS scheme (except well area.) under WUA working area with their source, Lifting point & area. Detail specification of notification for e.g. part of gazette, notification no & date, office name, designation and name of officer who has published the notification. By taking suggestion & objection to be raised by beneficiary of WUA farmers, check it from engineer in charge & finally workout the up to date map with corrections.

I.no.03:- Make village wise list of water user association & publish it. By making beneficiary list according form No.2 (Attachment No.01) affix the list at grampanchayat & important places of village also published by Davandi.

I.no.04:-Make ward wise voting list of water user association from order of Engineer Incharge & publish it.

I.no.05:- Arrangement of WUA elections. Making rough format of vot magazine. Printing miscellaneous form of election. Collection of all material which is required for election like sealing wax, card board for compartment, signal board, board of election center, Guiding way for movement towards Center. Make arrangement of vehicle for movement of employee during election period as well as providing ballot box.

I.no.07:-Established one project level association along with all already established association & create all conventions etc of it.

I.no.9:- Analysis by studying condition before installing project and condition after installing project, study the effect of project on social life.
