M & L in repair for making angle iron frame 25 mm X 25 mm X 4 mm thick with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping (1:3;6) , 80mm thick ,including fabrication,welding , cutting works etc and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including dismantalling the U/S angle iron frame complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting of existing MS sheet cover of valve pit chamber of any size with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to GI strip 25mm X 4 mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt all around earth plate, test point of phosphorous bronze / gun metal of size 75 mmx 75 mm x25 mm, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. S&F in repair Cast iron air release valve with single air outlet conforming to IS of size 25mm dia bore and fixing up in existing cast iron water supply line of size 250mnm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

S&F in repair PVC air release valve with single air outlet conforming to IS of size 25mm dia bore and fixing up in existing cast iron water supply line of size 150 to 250mnm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

M&L for Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets of any description and in any position including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repairs to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit, jand also jointing of crack/leaked HDPE pipe with MS sheet jointing clamp,rubber sheet, nut, bolts and washer etc replacement of defective column pipes, and including Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge in bore wells at various locations under GE(A) Bhuj Note: 1 Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. 2. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities pumps & motors :- (a) 30 to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at authorised workshop. (b) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'.-

Taking out and removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motors of any description and in any position of 30HP to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding & testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed :- Note : (i) The winding wire shall be of make ATLAS/FINOLEX (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include the cost of transportation from site to authorised workshop and back, fixing / lowering in position (a) 30 to 50 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply.
