Servicing / Overhauling of Valves in SA Plant FACT CD, during ATA-2020.
Easing of valves: The work involves inspection of the following valves listed and easing of the same as per the directions of shift-in-charge from process department. The work includes cleaning, inspection, greasing, minor repair if any, and easing of valves and its drive mechanism without dismantling the valve from line. Following valves are to be eased as and when demanded: 1.Wet air valve 2.Blower discharge valve 3.ADT outlet valve 4.W2 outlet valve 5.W2 cold bypass valve 6. W2 hot bypass valve 7.W3 by pass valve 8. W5 by pass valve 9. Hot air valves ( 4 Nos) 10. Scrubber outlet valve 11. Scrubber inlet valve 12. BBDX valves ( 2 Nos). The choice of easing and inspection of valves listed above shall be the sole discretion of Process department.
Overhauling of valves: Arranging necessary scaffolding dismantling and transporting to workshop the valves which cannot be eased at position, (Valves if any from the 16 valves given vide item No.1 for easing), labour assistance for overhauling the valve at workshop, repair / replacement of mating flanges of valves (if required as per instruction). Transport the serviced valves from workshop and fixing on line with gasket / full welding in case of welded valves and leak testing, repair / provide necessary structural support for valves if reqd as per instruction of Engineer in charge.
Overhauling of Furnace inlet MOV: Arranging necessary scaffolding, dismantling and transporting the valves to mechanical workshop and actuator to electrical workshop for servicing, labour assistance for overhauling the valve at workshop, repair/replacement of mating flanges of valves ,transport the serviced valves from workshop and actuator from electrical , fixing on line with gasket and leak testing.
Easing and overhauling of Scrubber MOV: Arranging necessary scaffolding for the work. Dismantling and transporting the actuator to electrical workshop for servicing, labour assistance for easing of the valve and servicing of valve on site.Transport the serviced actuator from electrical , fixing on line . Take trails.
