STEEL PLATE REPLACEMENT :-Vessels bottom plating, both ship side plating including wind & water strakes, Aft ship side plating, front ship side plating, main deck plating port hole, Bridge and bridge deck plating, super structure vertical plating, all monkey deck plating, stiffeners, Radar Antenna base, GPS base, Navigational light antenna base, and search light base, sewage tanks, water tanks, Fuel tanks, Void tanks (All tanks to be internally examined), Bulk heads, hatches, exhausts, Winch covers, Roof covers of main engine,03 Nos Anchor base structure . Alarm based panel of wheel house, Main engine HRP gear box cover hinges, HRP Engine enclosure at top and doors packing, Roofing, base, plates of main deck petrol station, Electrical panel of both Anchor Winch, Roofing of the machinery room entrance, Corroded /rusted MMG protection guards, Additional MMG protection guards to be built on the monkey deck for laying position to the height of 1 to 1.5 feet. HRP covers, HRP protection vertical wall of the hull, angler iron stiffeners. Any other steel related renewal required at the time of dry dock repair in any fittings / fixtures of complete vessel will be covered. Any plates / iron structure Visibly identified as deteriorated needs replacement. Approximate 25 Ton steel plate is estimated to be replaced during the dry dock repair.The actual quantity of steel replaced/renewed during repair will be assessed by the BSF Board of Officers and BSF Supervisory staff for dry dock repair and the payment will be made for actual consumption as per quoted rate per tonnage. The additional /less payment of steel will be division of rates by 25 tonSteel plate should be approved by IRS /Classification society Thickness of plate Ship side & deck plate – 8 MM Accommodation wall – 6 MM

ULTRA SOUND GAUGING (USG):- All steel plates, decks and tanks to be de-rusted and ultrasonic thickness measurement to be carried out approx 2000 points to assess extent of corrosion. On the basis of USG report any plate if diminished more than 20% of original thickness must be renewed with the plate of original thickness and grade to the satisfaction of IRS surveyor.

MAIN ENGINE: - Main Engine require overhauling. The repair of all machineries and accessories of main engine like fuel pump, Lub oil pump, self-starter, alternator, Injectors, fresh water pump, oil cooler, Turbocharger, Vibration damper, Fan drive, All safety controls, Thermostat, etc to be carried out by manufacturer’s authorized /reputed service centre. The wear/deteriorated parts and assemblies of Main engine should be restored. Silencer pipes along with asbestos cloth, all hydraulic pipe & Oil seals, Radiator hose pipe all Gaskets, Hose pipes need replacement. Machinery running hours as on date are as under :- PORT side main Engine model No NTA 855M (BC-III) Kirlosker Cummins 325 HP (Sl No.25279565) covered run 3813 Hrs as on 30/11/2019. STBD side Main Engine model No NTA 855M (BC-III) Kirlosker Cummins 325 HP (Sl No 25279828) covered run 3810 Hrs 35 Minutes as on 30/11/2019

Cleaning of HSD service tank of both main engines by removing the complete engine unit from deck using crane/ winch arrangements and making the manhole & fitting of drain valves in HSD service tank.

HRP PROPULSION SYSTEM :- • Port side (currently ok) & Stbd side HRP system not working properly and recommended both side HRP be made operational • The upper & lower gear box servicing & defective upper and lower bearing and all mechanical oil seal of both HRP system to be replaced. • Gear oil & Hydraulic oil to be replaced as per OEM instructions. • Port and Stbd side HRP pressure Clutch & plate is to be repaired • All the electronic Control Units (ECU), relays, sensors, Control Board (PCB), panel board, wire fitted in wheel house and main engine thoroughly checked need repair • Control panel & indicator of engine room and bridge console need to be repair.• Clutch unit overhauling. Clutch plates O Rings and Seals required replace. Solenoid switches complete set of HRP units replacement/overhauling where ever applicable • Both hydraulic pump of HRP system thoroughly checked and defective parts to be replaced. • Vertical protection pipe need repair. Hydraulic pressure pipes need replacement. • solenoid switch need to be dismantled and serviced, defective parts to be replaced • Propeller clearance needs to be checked and adjusted. • HRP Thruster System BV model No 3212-DU (Deck mounted propulsion units type) • Port side – Sl No. 39610702-1 • Stbd side –Sl No. 39610702-2 • Alignment of joystick/ HRP system error should be rectified

DG SET :-Both Engine need to be overhauling The repair of all machineries and accessories like fuel pump, self-starter, alternator, Injectors, fresh water pump, oil cooler, Turbocharger, Vibration damper, All safety controls, Thermostat, etc to be carried out by manufacturer’s authorized/reputed service center. Sea water cooling pump need to be replaced with new pump. The wear/deteriorated parts and assemblies of DG set should be restored if any. All Seals, all Gaskets, Hose pipes need replacement. Sea water cooling pipe line of DG set complete replacement. DG set silencer pipes along with asbestos cloth need repair. Machinery running hours as on date are as under :- (i) Port Auxiliary Engine (DG Set) Model No. NTA 495 MG 85 kw 106 kva (Kirlosker Cummins) SL. No. 25282269 covered run – 29538 Hrs as on 30/11/2019. (ii) STBD Auxiliary engine (DG Set) Model No. NTA 495 MG 85 kw 106 kva (Kirlosker Cummins) SL. No. 25282268 covered run – 21752 Hrs as on 30/11/2019.

Complete 86 KVA alternator of both the DG Set is required to be dismantled and brushes, bearing, AVR, bushes or commutator need to be replaced. Proper re-insulating of coils is to be done. One spare AVR need to be supplied along with delivery of vessel after repair.

AC PLANT & AIR HANDLING UNIT :- The following 5 Star Split AC (Copper for marine environment) of make- (Carrier) with all accessories is required to install in various compartment of the vessel and proper out let water pipe line should be installed to drain the water from the inner unit. MAST REPAIR WORK :- Complete Mast, National and BSF Flag base, Main Mast bottom supporting members & brackets, Mast arm & flag hoisting pulley etc. is to be checked and wasted portion to be renewed.

All the Monkey island railings, Conduit pipes & Guard rails found damaged/ wasted due to the saline weather condition, same recommended to be renewed. Antenna VHF/HF.

The sintex tank of fresh & sea water need to be replaced high density tanks with threaded cover and guard railings and base of tanks need to be renewed. Existing two Nos 500 Ltr tanks to be replaced with fitting.

NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENT’S (RADAR, MAGNETIC COMPASS , ECHO SOUNDER , BAROMETER ,SEARCH LIGHT , PANEL BOARD INDICATOR :-, Echo sounder found defective, wrong display and recommended to be repaired. Make- Koden, Model No. CVS-8841/8842

Accommodation Port Hole Frame rusted, same to be chipped and painted. Defective Frame required to be replaced

01 No RO purification systems capacity of 250 ltr/1hr (of 2000 to 4000 TDS) water supply heavy duty is required to be installed with storage tank 200 Ltr (heat proof) and connected with additional 500 Ltr (heat proof) overhead tank and 1 HP lifting pump to lift water from any one of the water tank of F/BOP.

Hot water Geysers required to be replace (25 Ltr Capacity)

All the rubber packing’s are recommended for renewal to ensure weather tightness.

All sea water pipe line in toilets needs to be replaced with High Density PVC pipes. ( Where ever possible)

So’s dining room to be re furnished(sufficient bunk bed, table etc to be provided) to living quarters as to accommodate 06 personnel

TVRO (TELEVISION RECEIPT ONLY) Providing suitable TV Reception system equipped with GPS based antenna reception with connected accessories capable of providing feed to 06 Smart LED TV sets with individual set Top boxes and complete accessories. Reception system must be able to receive all channels irrespective of the direction and movement of floating BOP. Firm will provide Smart LED TVs of make Crown/Sony 42” -02 No. each and 32” – 04 Nos with 01 year channel subscription . Technical specification of TVRO system as per Appendix-11

ANTICIPATED SCOPE OF WORK FOR UNDER WATER HULL PORTION 100% under water hull to be visually surveyed. Structure graded critical to be surveyed with the help of ultrasonic equipment. Particular attention to be paid to the hull plating in the vicinity of propellers, shaft. Boot top areas (including wind and water areas), inlets/outlets and areas in the vicinity of keel which rests closely on dock blocks for sign of corrosion and damage i.e breakdown of paint, dent, pinholes, cracks, etc. Indentation on the shell plating be closely examined taking into consideration the effect on the structural strength and eddy raising current. The permissible limits of distortions /indentation on the plates are to be guided structural Drawings.

Firm to inspect sacrificial anodes fitted to underwater hull, rudders propeller, inlets and outlets, sea tubes bilges and void spaces. Renewed those consumed 50% or more and clean remaining sacrificial anodes. Qty- 30 nos,Size 2 feet x 3 inch

Mud box, strainer and fixtures (under water portion) need to be serviced.
