Description of work to be executed

Providing teak wood square balli supports in addition to existing brick masonry supports to the ribbed tile dome of chhatri no. 11 for growting and pointing from inside to weather and cracked dome to facilitate the restoration of weathered and worn off architectural members of chhatri erecting still scaffolding.

Excavation in ordinary soil and sub soil upto depth of 0.75 mts. Including stacking of serviceable materials if recovered during excavation and disposing rubbish as directed to check the black stone base platform of chhatri no 11 and also to provide base concrete and stone apron at ground level all-round the chhatri no. 11.

Provision for chiseling out worn off / weathered ashlars stone masonry of black stone base platform peace by peace to provide new black stone ashlars stone masonry including disposing of waste as directed. Note :- ( The black stone base platform consist of five layers out of which four of black stone 0.70 mts. high and last one is red stone is 0.30 mts. high with total high one mts. The quantity may vary if last red stone layer which is 0.30 mts. high found weathered after removal of earth)

Provision for chiseling out peace by peace completely weathered two layers of carved stone fixed over the black stone base platform and ashlars stone masonry of plinth and architectural members of super structure upto stone beam of chhatri very carefully including erection of scaffolding etc. complete.

Restoration of weathered and missing ashlars stone masonry of black stone base platform using similar type of stone duly plain dressed and set in 1 : 1 : 1 LSS mortar. Note (The quantity may vary if last red stone layer which is 0.30 mts. high found weathered after removal of earth)

Restoration of weathered and missing ashlars stone masonry and architectural member of plinth and super structure upto beam of chhatri no. 11 using similar type of red stone duly plain dressed, molded and carved as per original and set in 1 : 1 : 1 LSS mortar.

Removal of out of plumb chhajja and its above three layers erecting scaffolding and taking down very carefully intricately carved architectural members including taking at proper place for reuse

Resetting of chhajja and its above three layers in 1:1:1 LSS mortar using 90% original stone and 10 % new stone in place of missing and damaged duly plain dressed, molded and carved as per original

Laying base lime concrete in 1:1:1:4 BBLC including remind, curing etc. complete for providing stone apron.

Laying 15 cms thick local send stone apron including plain dressing and set in 1:1:1 LSS mortar

Excavation for foundation in hard soil and subsoil up to a depth of 0.75 m including throwing away the excavated earth outside of site etc. complete..

Laying of P.C.C. 1:3:6 in the base of foundation using 20 mm stone aggregate including ramming, curing and supply of all materials, labours, T&P for work etc complete.

Constructing Random Rubble Stone Masonry (uncoursed) with hard stone in C.M.(1:4) in foundation and plinth including curing, supply of all materials, labours, T&P for work etc complete.

Recessed pointing on R. R. Stone Masonry wall with 1:3 mixed with cement, sand mortar including racking joints and supply of all material, labours, T&P for work etc complete.

Laying of C.C. 1:2:4 using 20 mm stone aggregate including ramming, curing and supply of all materials, labours, T&P for work etc. complete.

Fixing 0.90 Meter high & 0.30 meter top diagonals fencing with 1.5 Meter long M.S. Angle posts 40mm x 40 mm x6 mm and oil painting 3 coats fixed at 2.5 Mt, C/c. with 4 Horizontal lines and two diagonals of galvanized steel barbed wire weighting 9.38 Kg. per 100 Meter, strained and fixed to posts with G.I, staples including fixing the posts on rubble wall with 0.30 M x 0.30.M x 0.30 M. block in C.C1:5:10 etc complete.

Fixing in position MS compound gate (3.80x1.95 Mtrs) with vertical 50x50x6 mm MS angle iron for framing and 12 mm square bar fixing in frame at 10 C/C and turn style gate (0.90 x 1.50 Mtrs.) with 50x5 mm M.S. flat for framing and 12 mm square bar at 10 C/C in frame including fabricating, welding etc complete 8.76 Smt. about 260 kgs.
