82655/E8 SPECIAL REPAIR TO STATIC WATER TANKS AT AFS SURYALANKA (PH-I)

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick walls including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brickwork with sub-class `B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in two layers, first layer 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 and second layer 5 mm thick in CM 1:4 finishing fair and even mixed with WPC as per manufacturer's instructions all as specified and directed. Note :- The water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately. The dosage of WPC shall be as per manufacturers instruction.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying Asian Paints Smart Care Damp Proof or any equivalent fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane complete all as per manufacturers instruction and as directed. Note:- The application rate at shall be 2.32 Litre/sqm.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound of approved make.

M&L for applying one coat of Nitocote SN 511 (at 0.40 m2/Litre/coat ensuring uniform coverage using brush, roller, or airless spray) and applying two coats of Dekguard S (coloured finish) of M/s fosroc as a decorative and anti-carbonation coating over the primed surface at a rate of 0.167 litre/ sqm for each coat to achieve a total Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 175 microns as per manufacturer specifications. Note :- The contractor can also incorporate any other equivalent product of approved manufacturers from the list of manufacturer.

M&L for Uprooting scrubs/plant/flora & fauna on wall girth n.exc 100mm from brick wall by cutting holes into masonry walls for digging out roots and dosing sulphuric/phenolic acid as per manufacturers instruction to deep rooted tree roots and making good the disturbed area with cement mortar in 1:3 with using water proofing compound including necessary scaffolding upto a height of 16 metre complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete above the ground floors n.exc 15 cm thickness (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) such as cooking platform, chajjas, ladder for hose etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in kitchen platform, shelves, ladder for hose & chajjas etc complete all as specified and as directed.
