Fire hydrants - Leakage observed in 06 nos. fire hydrant valves, to be overhauled/ replaced {Qty - 6, Dia - 65mm (6 nos.).
Anchor Stopper - 2 no anchor stopper corroded/perished. To be renewed.
Deck fittings and equipment Protective cover provided for deck fittings damaged/ perished. New canvas protective cover to be manufactured for weather deck equipments/machineries as follows (as per sample):- (a) 02 nos for Windlass (b) 04 nos for rope reels at various places (c) 01 nos for RIB. (d) 01 nos for Gemini. (e) 01 nos SOP (f) 01 nos Magnetic compass, etc
Windlass - Forredo lining of port and stbd band brake perished. To be renewed.
Windlass - Oil leak observed from oil indicator , to be inspected and replace.

Fire hose - 05 nos fire hoses damaged. To be replaced/renewed

Weather Deck - Handle securing bolt to be changed to Stainless steel, all water tight hatches and Doors , as per sample.
ICCP - Calibrate external zinc reference electrode.
ICCP - Inspect ICCP anodes and the dielectric shield for mechanical damage. Carry out repairs as necessary.
4.5M RIB (Boat) Carryout inspection of GRP hull for chipping, delamination, cracks etc. Carryout repairs as necessary.
Diving Compressor - Filter and oil change, check the performance.
AVR - Voltage unstable, DI / DR to be undertaken.
12V 180/200 AH BATTERIES - Servicibility check of 10 in nos. Batteries replacement if necessary.
MAIN SWITCH BOARD (1) 04 in no. KW meter, 04 in no. AMP meter, 04 in no. PF meter to be calibrated. (2) Under/over voltage relay, over current/short circuit relay, over/under frequency relay, insulation monitoring module and Reverse power relay to be calibrated. (3) EDA section panel door defective. (4) Require door locks, (5) MSB all breakers need to be serviced. (6) Suggest to remove old manual voltage regulators. (7) Shore supply section 415V 160 Amps breaker (04) not working.To be callibrated/ replaced (8) Inspect all connectors () and overhaul. If found to non-repairable then to be repalced
AUTO FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM (1) Zone 1 showing short circuited (2) Servicibility check of fire alarm system and all sensors (04 in nos. heat sensors, 23 in nos. smoke sensors) replace if necessary. Repair/replace charging circuit is required. (3) Inspect all connections

Bed Sockets - 01 in nos. of 13A single pole socket is non-operational suspect wiring defective to be replaced in junior sailors.(approx length 2X1.5 SQMM 10mtr)
Steering Gear System - Rudder Angle feedback potentiometer getting disturbed resulting in frequent zero error. Potentiometer to be self fixed permanently. Sluggish movement observed in operating of system. Defect to be rectified. If potentiometer found non-repairable then to be replaced
Port Steering Pump - Starter panel contactor defective. DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.
AC strarting Control Panel - (1) Winding timer relay (WTR) defective (2) Suggest starter panel for a full service. (3) Inspect for burnt wires , contactors , relays , fuse and loose connection (4) Servicibility check of full system is required. DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.
Weather Deck light - Defective lights to be replaced 05 nos
Weather Deck light - Need to lay a new wire for the astern STBD flood light. 3x2.5sqm, 10mtrs
Domestic Lighting - Defective lights to be replaced 30 Nos, Need extra lights in provision store and gym area.Spot lights in Junior sailors dinig hall defective 06 Nos.
Machinery Space lighting - General lighting is poor in all machinery spaces.Defective 10 nos lights to be replaced. Suggest extra lights 05 nos to be installed in machinery spaces.
Machinery Space lighting - 05 new light fittings alongwith lights to be placed in Machinery spaces
Emergency 24 V DC lighting - Need to service DB, need to replace defective lights with light holders.
CO2 Control Panel - Replacement of CO2 Control panel with compact control panel. If replacement not feasible then Servicibility/repair and performance check of the system to be carried.
Port GB Standby Pump Indication lamp non-operational during astern propulsion. Defect ot be rectified.
Port GB Standby Pump - Signal light doesn't operate during ahead propulsion. Standby pump starter defective. Both Defect to be rectified.
Ship Siren control unit malfunctioning during AUTO mode. Unit performance degraded. The system to overhauled and degraded components to be replaced. Bridge Siren push button perished. To be replaced. If the Siren is not repairable to be replaced with the new siren of same make.
Capstan Starter - Service need to be carried out. Inspect for burnt wires , contactors, relays , fuse and loose connection
Canon Printer - Printer needs to be connected with ship's network and to be serviced. If found defective to be replaced.
Meal lift - Control panel need to be serviced, Buzzer defective DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.

Stbd HP Compressor - High temparature alarm appears frequently, DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.
Port HP Compressor - K3 contactor and 415V transformer defective, DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.
OWS - Pneumatic solenoid defective, DI/DR to be undertaken and routines to be undertaken.
Galley Range - Starter panel door defective, Hot plates need to be serviced Inspect loose connection , contactors , relays and breakers .

Main switchboard - Apply Necol Lacquer to shock and vibration mounts. If deteriorated, to be replaced
Main Switchboard Carry out in-situ serviceability checks of breakers and specific defect to be repaired. Carry out serviceability checks of GSK relay and other protection circuits; specific defects to be repaired.
Main Switchboard - Check phasing-in device type EPI. Clean thoroughly and carry out Functioning Test (where applicable).
Main Switchboard - Carry out following routines on switchboard and busbars: (1) Inspect lugs/ connectors/ CT/ PT and other components and undertake repair deterioration/ damage of MSB cables/ wiring as necessary. (2) Repair/ replace busbars insulators if necessary (3) Clean and decarbonize the busbars. (4) Carryout functional checks of MSB and paralleling trials with all combinations of generator supply.
Switchboard Modification for one 120KW DA and Two 80 KW DA Necessary modification of cables, breakers and other accessories upto Switch board to integrate new 120kW DA (01 Nos) and 80KW DAs (two) with switch board. Control cables to be renewed as per 120 KW DA and 80 KW DAs. Power supply Cables from output terminal of DAs to Switchboard to be renewed. All the mesauring equipment/meters of switchboard to bre renewed as per 120KW DA and 80 KW DAs requirement. Paralling between all three DAs to be proved and all relevant equipment necessary for paralling to be installed in Switchboard. All breakers and busbar of switchboard to be modified as per 120 KW DA and 80 KW DAs rating or higher capacity whichever is suitable for the safety of switchboard. Appropriate rating AVR or load sharing unit to be installed in the switchboard to assist for parallleing of all three DAs. The power generation from Alternator of DAs and distribution of stablised power supply from Switchboard to ship equipment will be the vendor/firm/shipyard liability. The switchboard panel to be modified as per the requirement for installation of higher/suitable capacity equipment/meters/components. The base of the switchboard tobe modified if required. Details for the installation of all three DAs is placed at Appendix 'A' to the Scope of work. Firm/Vendor/Shipyard to install all three DAs as per the recommendation of OEM and the make/ model of DAs to be fitted (Engine Make - M/s Cummins and Alternator make - Stamford). Vendor/Firm/Shipyard to follow all the instructions given by the OEM of DAs during istallation and to prove/ conduct trials as per OEM promulgated instructions. Training and OBS to be provided by Vendor/Firm/Shipyard. Installation to be undertaken only through OEM/ Authorised OEM representative and necessary assistance to be provided to OEM/ Authorised OEM representative during installation/trials/commissioning. All trials to be undertaken as per Trial Agency of Indian Navy
Steering Gear - Hydraulic pipe system clamps are broken due to heavy vibration. Clamps to be renewed
Steering Gear - Sea water leakage from both the rudder glands ( size 25mm) . Gland packing to be renewed
Steering Gear - Oil leakage through steering various joints and valves. Brazing / renewal to be carried out as per sample
DD Air Compressor - Dryer perished, low performance. DI/DR to be carried out.
RIB Engine tripping observed by increasing RPM. RPM meter defective, Fuel sensor defective, low pressure pump and high pressure pump defective and injectors defective. DI/DR to be carried out.
Sanitary System Seawater leakage observed in pipe joints and 05nos valves. DI/DR to be carried out.
OWS - OWS AER suction valve not holding. Suction valve needs to be changed, relief valve and reducer need to be calibrated.
Bilge Pump - Abnormal noise and high vibration observed , found that mechanical seal and roller bearing defective. DI/DR to be carried out. DI/DR to be carried out.
Bilge Pump System -04nos. ball and screw down valves of Bilge pump suction from bilges of MER, AER and void spaces not holding. Valves to be overhauled.
Biige Pump System - Bilge pump priming system found to have leakages in pipe causing loss of suction. Priming unit to be overhauled / overhauled.
Air System - 04 nos reducer not working. Suspect reducer spring stiffness lost/defective. Reducer to be overhauled and set pressure at 8Kg/cm2,4Kg/cm2 (02nos) and 2Kg/cm2.
Air System - 04 nos. relief valves releasing pressure before set value. To be overhauled.(pressure setting at 8.5 Kg/cm2,4.5Kg/cm2 (and 02nos) 2.2 Kg/cm2).

Rudder - Examine under water structure in accordance with NO 3/96, paying particular attention to hull plating in the vicinity of rudders), fitting up to the rudder head, for signs of corrosion, defects and damage.
Ruder - Check clearances of lower and upper bearings. SS to record in Kalamazoo.
Rudder - Examine rudder pintle bearings to ensure that they are fully lubricated before undocking.
CCATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM- alibrate external zinc reference electrode.
CATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM- Carry out pre docking checks on anodes, reference electrodes and auto control units as per instructions contained in Para 15 of Navy Order 16/2000 and project specific defects to refitting authorities.
Inspect ICCP anodes / electrodes and the dielectric shield for mechanical damage. Carry out repairs as necessary.
CATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM - Check insulation of anodes to hull and reference electrodes to hull. Rectify defects if any.
Scrap recess of securing bolts/ anodes/ reference electrodes with emery paper and apply fresh coat of araldite putty in the recess.
CATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM - Carry out dummy load test of control panel as per instructions in Chapter 4 of INBR 372/84.
RCATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM - emove loose scales, slime and marine growth on zinc reference electrodes by scrapping with wire brush.
CATHODIC PROTECTION - ICCP SYSTEM - xamine for leakage where ICCP anodes fitted. Rectify leakages by filling with 'Plastic' compound.
Cathodic Protection - Calibrate external zinc reference electrode.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - Inspect sacrificial anodes fitted to under water hull, rudders, rope guard, shaft tunnel, stern tubes, inlets and outlets, sea tubes, bilges and coffer dams. Renew those consumed 50% or more.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - clean remaining sacrificial anodes with steel wire brush.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - Open up or remove as necessary at least 25% of underwater valves and fittings for examination of valves and associated sea tubes, position of indicating gear to be adjusted to agree with position of valves when shut. All securing studs to be lightly tapped with a hammer and if any studs fails, all studs in the same joint to be removed and replaced. All valves to be completed during each refit cycle in conjunction with NR 1. {Qty - 3, Dia - 150mm (2 nos.), 125mm (1 nos.).
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - Paint shaft brackets as per NO 20/03.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTUR - Examine underwater structure in accordance with NO 3/96 paying particular attention to shafts and brackets, eddy plates for signs of corrosion, defects and damage.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE- Recoat shaft brackets in accordance with NO 20/03.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE- Examine underwater appendages for roughness and unfairness, paying particular attention to the shaft bracket rope guards, and eddy plates.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - Underwater fastenings, security of fastenings to underwater portable fittings, rope guards, eddy plates etc. to be in accordance with BR 3001, Chapter 29, Article 2901.
MISCELLANEOUS U/W STRUCTURE - Check draught marks are in position. (BR 3001, Chapter 28, Article 2811).Repaint draught marks.
Single Arm Boat Davit - Carry out SPM checks on electrical motor. Lubricate/replace bearings as necessary.
Single Arm Boat Davit -Overhaul electric motor subject to QC check. Carry out trials on completion of repairs.
Open slewing assembly bearing housing and inspect bearing for play. Renew if required.
Single Arm Boat Davit -inspect the worm wheel assembly for any wear and presence of metallic particles.
Single Arm Boat Davit -Survey wire rope, Spare gear and other associated lifting gears. Renew as necessary.
Single Arm Boat Davit -Check oil in gear case and examine gear teeth for breakage and presence of foreign matter. Check bearings for collapse and shaft for rust and corrosion. Renew/repair as necessary.

Under Slung Electrical Capstan - Drain oil from gear box, oil bath and refill with recommended grade of oil as per specified grade.
Windlass - Strip brakes, examine lining, grease all pins, replace and adjust, ship cable stopper and grease all pins. Renew as per requirement
Anchor and Cables/ Lokers - Lay out all cables. Survey cable and shackles. Break, clean and grease all joining shackles. Strip and grease slip in cable locker. Re-arrange cable length to ensure equality of wear. Re-mark cable length. Examine hull associated fittings. Examine all spare chain cable and fittings, clean and coat with Bituminous black acid alkali heat resistant. Dismantle anchor. Clean and grease trunion pin and housing.
Anchor and Cables/ Lokers - Clean out cable lockers and remove portable perforated plates. Clean out sump and see that suction strainer and box of cable clench, ships side behind projection plates and bars, junction between plating and horizontal stiffeners and sumps. Thoroughly grease fastenings. Ensure that the inboard end of the cable is properly secured to the cable clench.
Ventilation system - Check, clean heat exchangers fins and tubes.
Ventilation system - Renew grease in motor bearins
Ventilation system - Clean fan impellers.
Ventilation system - Clean dampers.
The grease filter is to be removed and the internal surfaces thoroughly cleaned.
Drainage system - Strip, examine and refit 50% of following: - (a) Discharge valves {Qty - 3, Dia - 65mm (1 no), 50mm (2 nos)}. (b) Cock valves (Qty - 2, Dia - 80mm). (c) Renew worn out leather seating.
4.5M RIB - Inflate buoyancy tubes and check for leaks of buoyancy tubes and valves to working pressure (1.5 Psi). Carry out repairs as necessary.
4.5M RIB - Carryout inspection of GRP hull for chipping, delamination, cracks etc. Carryout repairs as necessary.
4.5M RIB Survey all boat fittings i.e. Rubbing strip, Handholds, Grab handles, Life lines, Slings and sling points, Navigation light frame, Bollards, Foot straps, Boat rope towing bridle etc for soundness and securely fitted.
Guard Rails and Stanchions - Examine stanchions, heel fittings for distortion and structure in the vicinityb of heel fittings.

Guard Rails and Stanchions -Check that pins are fitted to tongues of bottle screw slips and that pins are housed. Clean anodised aluminium guard stanchions, tubular guard rails and PVC coated guard wires with a weak detergents solution. Use no abrasive. Oil and grease, stains to be removed with a clean rag dipped in white spirits.

Diving Compressor - Annual routine to be carried and defective components to be renewed (Oil and filters)
Transrectifier - Overhaul the Trans-rectifier. Replace the defective components. Carry out routine on filter BAKE if applicable: (i) Turn "OFF" the filter from power supply. (ii)Clean the filter with compressed air 1.5 x 105 Pa after every 3000 hrs. (iii)Check the reliability of contact connections and fixings of capacitors. (iv) Check the filter insulation resistance. it should not be less than 50 M Ohms. (v) All the defective components to be replaced/renewed
Auto/Hand Change Over Switch - Overahuling and Repair of Auto and Hand Change over Switch. Carryout inspection and cleaning of contactor panels.
Auto/Hand Change Over Switch - Clean and inspect accessible components of Necol lacquer, deteioration of rubber and intactness of the rubber/ metal bond. Renew rubber components at earliest opportunity if defective.
Auto/Hand Change Over Switch - Clean unsealed relays using a a clean lint free cloth moistened in spirit. Abrasives are not to be used. Note:- The unsealed relays are very robust and should work for very long period without adjustments. Theknife edge pivot armature must never be oiled.

Aldis Signaling Lantern 5' - Examine front cover sealing and renew if necessary.
Signalling Projector 15" - Carry repair and overhaul of Signalling projector 15". (i) examine resistances for corrosion and overheating. Clean with vacume cleaner and tighten all connections. (ii)Carryout inspection of switch, interlocking switch, switch socket and control unit for corrosion and ingress of water. (iii)Examine contacts for burning and pitting. (iv)Check correct operation of switch gears.
Signalling Projector 15 " - Examine cover joints and renew if necessary.
Battery Charger - Check the continuity resistance of earth straps. It should not be more than 0.05 Ohms.
Battery Charger - Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened properly. Check the earthing strips for intactness.
Cooking Range - Overhaul and repair the equipment completely and do as mentioned below: (a) Change the element if defective. (b) Renew the internal wiring if perished. (c) Check the rotary switches, change with new one if required. (d) Calibrate temperature sensors and temperature gauges if fitted. (e) Check temperature cut-out of water heaters for satisfactory operation and adjust as required.
