Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks as met at site , true to lines as per plan, L section , camber, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes, dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lead, lift and safe disposal of surplus excavated material up to 20 M as directed by Engineer in charge without damaging forest, Forest/Private properties, including slip clearance during hill side cutting as directed by Engineer- in-charge and as per MORD specifications for Rural Road 2014.

Disposal of Excavated material (Debris) obtained from hill side cutting including loading, unloading and disposal at proper place up to 1000m as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of land slides (Slip clearance) in all type of soil and rock by mechanical means/ manual means and disposal of safe side only in after completion of hill side cutting as per road design (as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD specifications , Clause 1611 . ( Slip clearence considered only those reaches where the Hill side cutting has been completed and handed over to Engineer -In- Charge )

PROTECTION WORK :

Excavation for Structures:- Earth work in Excavation foundation for cross drainage structures, retaining walls, breast walls & other similar structures in all types of soils and rocks as met at site with all leads, lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by engineer in charge including supply of all material labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work in accordance with the MoRD as per Technical Specification Clause 305.1&300

Random rubble stone masonry for structures laid in 1:5 cement & sand mortar by locally available approved stone and sand from approved quarry including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work as per Drawing and MORD specification for cross drainage structures, retaining walls, brest walls & other smimilar structures etc as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Providing laying and rolling of cold mixed open-graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using penetration grade Catonic Bitumen Emulsion (Tailor mace binder) to required line, grade and levelto serve as wearing cousre on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per MORD Specification clause 506.2 (Emulsion used for cold mix shall be supplied from authorized supplier of IPR's owner i.e CRRI, New Delhi)

Providing and laying seal coat by Bituminous Emulsion (Tailor made binder) as binder for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 (Emulsion used for cold mix shall be supplied from authorized supplier of IPR's owner i.e. CRRI, New Delhi)

ROAD FURNITURE

Providing and fixing of C.C edge stones 12cm *12cm*60cm size precast in M15 cement concrete with 4 nos. 8 mm dia HYSD vertical bars and 3 nos 6mm dia MS bar stirrups as per approved drawing including two coat white washing on valley side of formation as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Providing & fixing of Maintenance Information Board with PMGSY Logo at starting or prominent location (where maximum no. of citizens can view the detail of the road) as per standard drawing dully painted and written as directed by Engineer in charge/ as per MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Prepration of detailed project report (DPR) including CBR Test, Supply of all material, T&P etc required for proper completion of Work. As per Direction of Engineer In Charge

Environment Protecion Work:- Bio - Engineering (Fixing Empty Asphalt Drum) Seeding and Mulching Preparation of seed bed on previously laid top soil, furnishing and placing of seeds, fertilizer, mulching material, applying bituminous emulsion @ 0.23 litre per sqm and laying and fixing jute netting, including atering for 3 months all as per Technical Specification Clause 310.

Maintenance of road side drains as per clause 1907(twice a year/as and when required) including shrubs and bush clearance and lopping of required tree branches and minor slip clearance (twice a year/as and when required). Maintenance of shoulders by way of filling trimming and proper compaction as per clause 1903 (but with 30 m lead). Maintenance of bridge /minor bridge/ slab culvert/ scuppers by way of clearing, cleaning,erosion repair, repair to cracks, parapet walls, protection works etc as per clause 1907. maintenance of katcha/ gravel road (main travelling surface) by way of cleaning and keeping the road surface free from any obstruction as per clause 1905. Maintenance of edge stones, sign board as per clause 1910. Maintenance of km, hectometer stone as per clause 1912, Repair of parapets and white washing / colour washing of parapet edge stone , tree trunks ,hill side prominent structures and spots such as top of breast wall, rocks, boulders, by making circular marking on the hill side structure as per frequncy and instructions mentioned in contract data including all material ,labour T&P etc as required for proper completion of work.
