Labour only for attending break down of pipe line bursting / cracks and including cleaning / removal of broken pipe pieces of various lengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including inserting necessary specials such as pipes, CI / DI Collar / mechanical Joints etc as per site requirement, testing for leakages of lead joints, testing and necessary dewatering by using necessary dewatering pumps, JCB's, Cranes complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge, for the following sizes:- Note 1 :- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable Pump sets for dewatering at the time of attending break down. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending break down. Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'A' (Single head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing/ Servicing of 63mm dia fire hydrant valve single/ double headed (type 'A' & 'B") with iron hand wheel by replacing seat, Neoprene 'O' rings, spring loaded side locks including renewal of necessary bolts/nuts/washers complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of static water tank of 25000 litres capacity including pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom using pumpset, removing the complete sludge by suction process using either suction pump or vaccum process, cleaning the walls ceiling & floor using high pressure water jet to dislodge all the mud, dirt algaue, fungus and layers of calcinations, vaccum cleaning to remove the dislodged waste, cleaning with bleaching powder on walls / floor of the sump to make it sterilise and take care of any further suspend bacteria, viruses which might have remained in the tank without disturbing the water suply to the area including painting the details of sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall and applying one coat of white wash to entire tank internal and external complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation and applying spray painting of existing colour for electric driven pumpset of 10 HP capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

All as per Sl. item No. 24 above but of 12.5 to 40 HP capacity

Supply and replacement of 63 mm dia CP hose 15 metre complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 15 mm thick MS flange joint for 100/150 mm bore to be welded to MS pipe including 6 mm thick rubber gasket with necessary nuts and bolts etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of 63 mm bore gun metal branch pipe and nozzle conforming to IS-903 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L masonary valve chamber of size 900x900x900 mm (internal dimensions) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering internal and external surface 15 mm thick in CM 1:4, 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) coping, 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick MS angle iron, 5 mm thick MS plate cover with locking arrangement, painting exposed steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer including dismantling unserviceable compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Sl. item No. 32 above but of size 600x600x600 mm (internal dimensions)

Supply and replacement of hose boxes of size 800 x 600 x 250 mm with 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, frame made out of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick MS angle Iron with double door, glazed with 4 mm thick sheet glass and including necessary locking arrragement, preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (fire red outside and brilliant white inside) over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

All as per SL item No.34 above but internal type

Supply and replacement of 4 mm thick sheet glass for fire hose boxes of size 0.20 x 0.20 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and replacement of hose reel drum of 19mm dia and 30 metre length conforming to IS-5132 including gun metal hose reel cap (shank) suitable for double hydrant control valve complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling the pump portion which is coupled with electric motor/ Alternator of 105 BHP to 173 BHP capacity by removing the coupling and foundation bolts etc., carrying out the overhauling of the pumpset including replacement of unserviceble minor spares/ parts such as impeller nut, keys, lock washer, gasket and gland packing to arrest the leakages from pump and greasing etc., complete cleaning, painting and re-assembling in position, testing and commissioning up to satisfaction level complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per SL. Item No.38 above but 60 to 100 BHP capacity

Supply and replacement of single hydrant stand post made of MS pipe of size 80 mm bore heavy grade, 1.50 m height with 90°, duck foot bend both end flanged and including welding if required to suit single fire hydrant valve and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Labour only for cleaning/ taking out of silt from sewage sumps, clarifier tank, aerator tank, sludge pumps and sludge bed for STP of capacity 750 MLD and getting out and depositing out side the Naval Base area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The Job shall be carried out for every three months as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per SL. Item No.42 above but of capacity 500 MLD

Material and labour for choke clearing of submersible pump at sewage pump house/ STP including dewatering the sewage sump to bottom level by using diesel driven mobile pump set type/ submersible type, lifting submersible pump with delivery main from bracket at bottom of sewage sump of depth 3 mtr to 5 mtr by using pully & chain block up to floor level, removing all debris from pump casing, removing defective 'D' clamps etc. inspecting impeller, bearing, by passing under current relay, testing the pump, lowering the pump with delivery main through guide wire rope by chain block, setting the pump to bottom bracket, testing the pump complete all as directed.

Note :- a) The Job to be completed with in 08 hours from choking of pump. b) The quoted rate is deemed to be include the Tool & Plants required for lifting, inspection, lowering etc., . c) All safety measures including lighting, safety shoes, safety glows to be provided by contractor.

M&L for lifting of unserviceable submersible motor / pump from sewage well / raw sump etc., of capacity 12.5 HP of any make (Non Clog type) and rewinding of electric motor with same gauge of super enamelled copper wire including varnishing, baking, drying till to get required megger value, replacement of terminal blocks, bearings on both drive end & non-drive end, re-assembling, testing, commissioning and re-erecting the same back in sump safely complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per SL. Item No.45 above but of clarifier motor of capacity 0.75 HP

Supply and replace 3 pole power contactor (ML 1.5) of existing model for AC 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 Phase complete all as specified and directed. Make: CAT No.SS91851 of L&T or its equivalent inABB/ BCH/ Siemens/ C&S Electric Ltd/ Schneider as approved by GE

Supply and replace relay (MN 2) of rating 23 Amps of existing model for AC 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 Phase complete all as specified and directed.

Flushing of existing borewells of size 150 mm dia 150 Mtrs depth with compressor including surging and flushing the bore at a pressure of 7 Kg / Sq cm complete with compressed air and flushing the sand, mud etc from the bore well till discharge of the fresh water including testing of water samples for chemical and bacteriological tests and yield testing for 8 hours complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for Opening mono block pump set of capacity 5 to 7.5 HP for inspection, repair and reassembling the pump and motor as per the original assembly after repair/ replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered including cleaning, replacing the minor items like packing bolts, nuts washers and MS clamps etc., applying one coat of approved spray paint on exposed steel surfaces, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including testing and commissioning after refixing for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Spares required shall be measured and paid separately under relavent items of BOQ. (b) Labour element required for fixing the spares is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and Labour for provisioning of MS sheet housing cover for mono block pump set of capacity 5 to 7.5 HP with 2 mm thick MS bent to shape with required gap, covering complete outside part of pump set, fixed on floor with necessary nuts and bolts and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.

Cleaning of heavy bushes, small/ big plants around E/M installations using required mechanical grass cutter / mini JCB and or by deploying labour and surrounded areas including surface dressing and removing debris outside Naval base area complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The debris removed off shall not be dumped inside/ outside of the installation premises, the same shall not be burnt nearby.

Supply and replace 5 HP capacity DOL starter with SS enclosure three phase, 415 Volts with over load relay complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exc. 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying of cables, pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M&L for disconnecting the water and electric connections carefully from the existing submersible pump sets of capacity 5 to 7.5 HP for inspection, repairs and reassembling the pump and motor as exisitng after repairs/replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning, including cleaning, replacing the minor items like packing bolts, nuts, washers and MS clamps etc. applying one coat of synthetic enamel spray paint on exposed steel surfaces, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including testing & commissioning the pump set for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed.

Note: (a) Spares required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ. (b) Expendable stores like cotton waste/ cleaning materials, lubricants, gland packing, metal filling and transportation from site to work shop and back shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (c) Labour elements for fixing spares shall deemed to be included in unit rate.
