Conducting Topographical, Contour Survey by Using Total Station/DGPS in the Operational area at Kullu Manali Airport

Conducting Topographical Survey with high precision calibrated Total Station/DGPS instrument for preparing Contour Plan by taking spot levels at the spacing of every 3 meter or less interval in two mutual perpendicular directions including temporary bench mark to be established on permanent structure by flying the level from the Permanent Bench Mark (Airport Reference Point - ARP), locating all existing main physical features (roads, storm water drains, culvert, trees, boundary line, buildings, runways, taxiways, aprons, parking bays, isolation bays, watch towers, PAPI lights and other relevant operational area structures/features) with their +ve/-ve elevations to be clearly marked on the drawing with submission of: a) Two sets of colour printed digitized drawings (Contour Plan/Topographical Plan) printed by computer plotter and reproduced in soft copy (pen drive) after approval of draft print, showing contours on suitable scale on bigger size paper, preferably A0 size sheet. Based on spot levels (OGL) collected for the said area, level sheet in Excel format along with 2 signed hard copies shall also be submitted for the entire area in a 3 m × 3 m grid or less. b) Submission of levels of top profile (transverse and longitudinal cross sections) as per slope and gradient provided by AAI to complying to requirements of DGCA, CAR/ICAO of required area based on reduced level of end of individual existing structure . Also preparation and submission of quantity calculation of earthwork in cutting/filling needed with lead chart to achieve proper slope and gradient correlating to the existing drainage system based on the data obtained from topographical survey and contour map, complete in all respects as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge, along with 2 hard copies and soft copy of quantity calculation sheets. Soft copy in excel sheet should contain excel formule based on which quantity have been calculated and necessary provision should be made in the excel that if in future any changes are made in top slopes and entered in excel sheet , corresponding quantity should be computed automatically. Note: 1)Rate includes mobilization of equipment, manpower, movement of manpower, engineer at site, survey work including spot levels at 3 m interval, contour map and submission of required drawings in soft and hard copy. 2)Survey work shall be carried out in operational area having restricted working hours due to flight movement. All men and vehicles shall be permitted to enter the operational area only on possession of valid security passes. 3)Along with Excel format, suitable soft copies of contours and topography in relevant software (such as CAD and GPS data files) shall also be submitted in a pen drive as described above.
