Thorough Dry cleaning of ESP starting from ESP inlet funnel up to ESP outlet funnel, all ESP hoppers, Gas distribution Screens, all emitting electrodes and collecting plates and other allied zones.
Suspension zones in between CERM/EERM Frame and ESP ceiling to be checked and cleaned properly. After de-synchronization of Unit, all hopper doors (288 Nos.) are to be opened for smooth removal of ash. After completion of total overhauling job, all hoppers must be checked finally and cleaning & removal of ash/clinker or any other foreign material if persist. Then all hopper manholes have to be boxed up properly by total replacement of old gaskets with new ones with adhesive and tightness checking.

| 1.02 | WATER JET CLEANING WORK
Thoroughly HP Water Jet washing from top to Bottom of ESP internals (72 Nos Fields), including all hoppers, collecting plates, emitting electrodes and other allied zones till metallic surface exposed and completely free of ash deposits. Four number HP Pumps must be put in service in parallel from 04 (Four) different Water outlet points provided at site. At the time of water washing if any chocking found in the hoppers, same shall be cleared immediately. Suspension zone in between CERM/EERM Frame and ESP ceiling to be checked and cleaned properly. All necessary equipment including sufficient number of hose, nozzles and four nos booster pumps (discharge pressure of 4-5 Kg/sq.cm) will be arranged by party.
Stipulated Period of Work: Day-3 to Day-9 - Two separate groups of manpower should be engaged at a time by round the clock without fail until finish this job within stipulated time. Daily work progress and respective checking report to be submitted within 48 Hrs of Unit De-Synchronise. The complete collecting electrode rapping mechanism with all its plain bearing, inner arm, outer arm, shock bar, shock pad, Shock Bar Guide Plate, shock bar guide assembly (Rapping and non-rapping side) and its attachment, rapping shafts, Pin wheel, hammer assembly, Anvil Bar and corresponding fasteners, Guide angle, PL attachments of Rapping and non-rapping sides are to be thoroughly inspected and necessary replacement/ modification/Fitting of missing components and tack welding of bolts are to be done as per the instruction of experts engaged by departmental authority.
The Rapping shaft straightness are to be checked and if necessary, the bend/worn out shaft to be repaired/replaced and complete alignment of the shaft to be done as per expert engaged by departmental authority. Rapping shaft rotation to be checked and ensure for every hammer hitting position with respective shock bar position correctly for CRM. Straightening of misaligned shock bar and its assembly are to be done and gap between the electrodes to be maintained as per expert engaged by departmental authority. The clearance between the shock bar and guide assembly should
be measured and modifications to be carried if required.
Stipulated period of Work: Day -6 to Day-20 - Work has to be going on in 02 passes parallelly by two separate expert team. These teams are separate than the manpower engaged in field gauging job. Daily observation report and corresponding rectification status to be submitted. Rectification job has to be
